From NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT
By Paul Homewood
Watch JHB skewer the clown from XR:
Note how Stott avoids answering every pertinent question, such as what will happen if we just abandon fossil fuels.
Fortunately JHB refuses to accept his attempts to change the subject and keeps pressing.
Stott was an Olympic rower apparently, and JHB finishes with one of her barbs:
“I think you should have stuck to canoeing, personally.”

All these spokespeople for extremist organisations go on television to put across what they believe. They don’t go on television to answer questions they find difficult to answer. So it is not in the least surprising that this fellow did not give a proper answer to any of the questions he was asked. The sooner television presenters wise up to the tactics of these people the better. If they want answers to their questions, don’t invite people from extremist organisations onto their programmes. But having said that, he did a very good job of doing what he intended to do. He just ignored the questions he was asked and got on with presenting the views of the people he represents. A masterclass in using the media for your own purposes.
TV presenters like Julia Hartley-Brewer have to got to get a lot cleverer in framing the questions they ask people who represent extremist organisations. Asking what we would do without fossil fuels is a waste of time. Of course they are not going to answer a question like that. It’s just a gift for them to start talking about something else. How about asking them how they are going to get to a COP in Australia when fossil fuels have been phased out. Or ask them about the ingredients of the glue they use to stick themselves to whatever. And if they say they use natural glues, ask them how they were tested.
