The plan also calls for massive wealth transfers – joint projects, green investment clubs, and green banks for poor countries.
I wonder which wealthy nation is supposed to provide the bulk of the funding these green boondoggles would demand? I wonder is any of the taxpayer’s money transferred offshore to fund UN climate projects would somehow slip back into the pockets of some of the Western politicians who facilitated the transfer?
Only a strong voter turnout in the US midterm elections can prevent this massive transfer of wealth to other countries from happening.
All major English speaking nations are currently run by left wing net zero obsessed politicians – and I include the British Conservatives in this assessment.
The USA is the only major English speaking country which has a near term opportunity to stop this power grab, at the midterm elections on the 8th November this year.
Britain, Australia and Canada have much longer to wait until voters can deliver their verdict on UN climate communism. The next British national election does not have to occur until January 2025. Same for Australia. And Trudeau, who won an election in 2021, can also wait out his full four year term until 2025.
All eyes are on the United States. There could be a lot more riding on the midterm elections than who gets to control the US Congress and Senate.
What else is new here? Isn’t more government, more laws and restrictions and higher taxes the solution for everything these days.

I am beginning to believe there are more subtle and sinister motives. Could it be concentration of power? Otherwise, why would they want to make energy, primarily fossil fuels, the sustainer of human life, more scarce and unaffordable?

Lets just skip the carbon tax and go straight to an air tax. That way everyone can pay according to the amount of air they breathe. Of course, athletes will pay more, but pearl divers will pay less.

IF a SIN TAX is to be levied against any country for the SIN of EMISSION then it should be levied against EVERY country on an equitable basis. That being one of any country that adds to the SIN GAS load must pay into the fund an amount equal to their portion of the global addition. For example if the global fund requires $1,000,000,000,000 Trillion in annual funding, then a country that is responsible for adding 1% of the total annual emissions should be required to contribute 1% of the fund annually ($10B) and a country that adds 10% to the total global emissions should be required to contribute 10% of the fund. This should apply to ALL countries equally even developing ones. It should be a rule that a country can’t seek payment from the fund if they aren’t also contributing to it in mind. Fair is Fair…

Once China is equally forced to contribute their 30+% of the fund then and only then should any other country be required to do so and China should be unable to access any of the funding if they aren’t paying in their fair share.
If a country lowers their emissions they also lower their required contribution levels

According to Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature (BEST) the linear trend from 1850 is almost there while the actual supposed recorded temperatures around 1850 and around 2020 are now +1.5C.
I guess that explains the rise in climate catastrophes being reported around the world nowadays 😱 .

The truth is it was just as warm in the Early Twentieth Century as it is today, but you won’t see that displayed on a BEST chart. That’s the Big Lie the alarmists have been operating on all this time: Bastardized temperature charts that support the false narrative of human-caused global warming.
It’s not “hotter and hotter” as the alarmist claim. The truth is it is not any hotter than the recent past, and now the temperatures are cooling, which would make sense if the temperatures operate in a cyclical manner, warming for a few decades and then cooling for a few decades and then repeating the process. This has been going on since the end of the Little Ice Age, but you won’t see it on any of the bastardized alarmist temperature charts.
The alarmists are trying their best to dupe us into believing something that they cannot prove.
It’s really criminal considering the consequences of this lie, and that will become more obvious as people die from these alarmist maniacs actions to curb CO2.

Australia only needs to mine iron ore, gas and coal to pay the bills. There is no need to manufacture anything as long as China keeps playing the game. Germany is still holding near full stocks of gas. Consumption is lower this year than previous years – so far. Next weekend will be getting colder so the situation could change by the end of November. But if Germany gets by this winter without at least rolling blackouts then it is the long term decline of the economy that counts and that is like watching grass grow.

To the EU plans to ban autos with internal combustion engines: The position will be reviewed in 2026. In the meantime even the large car manufacturers has changed their strategy und develop platforms which could be used both for cars with internal combustion engines and for e-cars. According to my experiences with an e-car (I drive also an e-car), the e-cars would be rather a blind alley. Ordinary people could be simple, however they are definitely not idiots and they will wake up, and the invoice will be presented to the CO2 and climate alarmists.

We’ll learn more about the postions of the various Republicans after the November elections when they have to start dealing with this CO2 fiasco.
I heard Doctor Oz tip his hat to CO2-caused climate change in an interview yesterday. He advocated natural gas as a transition fuel until we can get more windmills going. Oz is certainly a better candidate than the Democrat, but he has a long way to go in understanding CO2. He needs a talk with Dr. Happer.
Republican voters have a lot of work to do to dissuade their representatives from buying into the Net Zero lies.
It does look like Republicans are going to get the majority in the U.S. House, and there is a very good chance they will get the majority in the U.S. Senate, too. Republicans need 60 votes in the U.S. Senate in order to put a big dent in Joe Biden’s destructive agenda.

What we need are carton taxes. Every day, a kabillion or so boxes (aka “cartons”) make their way to homes and businesses, with Amazon being a big culprit, ranging in size from that of a peanut to that of an elephant (roughly). I haven’t actually measured them, and I have a whole bunch myself. They pile up everywhere – in basements, garages, barns, and warehouses faster than people can find the time to deal with. Some boxes, ok most, you think “this is a nice box, and I might be able to re-use it, and besides I don’t have time to break it down right now, maybe later.” And so, they pile up. Often, they have packing materials in them as well, which again you thik you might be able to use. We are headed for a tsunami of boxes, or a “carton catastrophe”, which threatens the planet. We must stop the madness before it’s too late!
The answer for these green devils to fight the faux problem global warming, clearly doesn’t work. That is wind and solar. They have chosen to put the so called solution behind and punish non believers instead, it is so much easier. These people are despicable.
I think the US election is irrelevant. No country is going to fund this fantasy, which is a dream not a plan.

When will there be an end to unrealistic atmospheric CO2 growth graphs. The atmospheric CO2 level has increased only one hundredth of one percent of atmosphere in the past sixty years. That increase should graph as an almost flat line.
