Former Aussie PM Malcolm Turnbull: “When is physics going to mug political complacency and [Climate] denialism?”

Turnbull waves goodbye after a news conference in Canberra today.

Guest essay by Eric Worrall

Former Aussie PM and Goldman Sachs Partner Malcolm Turnbull thinks Chinese Coronavirus is a “high speed metaphor” for Climate Change. A few weeks ago Turnbull upset his own party so much there were calls for his expulsion.

Pandemic also a reckoning for climate change: Turnbull

London: Former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull says climate change is a greater existential threat than the coronavirus, which he says has provided governments with a unique opportunity to simultaneously boost clean energy and stimulate pandemic-battered economies.

Turnbull told a conservative think tank in London that the pandemic had been a reckoning of science and political complacency, which he said served as a “metaphor, at high-speed” of climate change politics.

“The COVID virus has been a case of biology confronting and really shaking the complacency of day-to-day politics with a physical reality of sickness and death on a scale we haven’t seen for a very long time,” Turnbull told the Policy Exchange audience.

“And so the question really is: why do so many people in government and so many people in politics – particularly in the Anglo sphere – not take the scientific evidence on climate change just as seriously?

“When is physics going to mug political complacency and denialism? “

Turnbull is not alone in wondering when the great climate catastrophe will strike, and vindicate all his dire warnings.

… We will be open to criticism though with what we do add in subsequent drafts. Someone is going to check the final version and the Aug 12 draft. This is partly why I’ve sent you the rest of this email. IPCC,me and whoever will get accused of being political, whatever we do. As youknow, I’m not political. If anything, I would like to see the climate change happen, so the science could be proved right, regardless of the consequences. This isn’t being political, it is being selfish.

Climategate Email 1120593115.txt, Professor Phil Jones of the CRU Speaking

Occasionally climate worriers figure out they were wrong all along and have the guts to admit it, like the inventor of Gaea Theory James Lovelock.

“The world has not warmed up very much since the millennium. Twelve years is a reasonable time… it (the temperature) has stayed almost constant, whereas it should have been rising — carbon dioxide is rising, no question about that.”

Turnbull on carbon border taxes:
“The Europeans have made it very clear to Australia, publicly, that we should expect in the free trade agreement that the government has been negotiating for some time with the EU that there will be climate change elements in it … I think it is inevitable and I do support them as a matter of principle”.
Free trade is ‘international trade left to its natural course without tariffs, quotas, or other restrictions’ so a trade agreement with a carbon border tax is not free trade.
During his term as PM he worked assiduously against the interests of ordinary Australians which is one reason he was dumped and he is still at it.

Turnbull was useless as head of the Australian Republican Movement. Therefore, it came as no surprise that he was useless as Prime Minister. He has a chronic inability to separate the political wheat from the political chaff.

Covid lockdown about to be re-branded as Climate lockdown, these people are sick, today the Climate change Minister has announced what we long suspected this complete farce is about to be shoved down our necks as an excuse to in-debt our children in the name of the quasi religion called Man Made climate change, a debunked fraud, the modelers who brought you the covid lock down, unprecedented in history are bent on using the same fear tactics to bankrupt the entire country.
Recovery funds earmarked for green fantasy projects, compulsory track and trace technologies, continuing 2 year lock downs and forced vaccinations.
This in the name of a Carbon free economy pushed by completely dedicated Communist stooges, they have no clue that extra co2 greens the earth not heats it, or that every person breaths out co2 every day of your life, or maybe they do and their Carbon free plan is really thinly veiled Eugenics, a plan to depopulate YOU.
Whats next? delayed or canceled elections so you cant fight back against their edicts, suppression of your rights to free speech, destruction of the right to protest just like the commie crack down in HONG KONG.
No doubt ill see a few of you in re education camp.
If you think im tripping then do your own research, start with Cindys(PM) last U.N. speech pushing One World Government in the Chinese Model.
The time for complacency is past, now its time to take our country back!!
Reposted from a comment i made in NZ,
Ill add PLEASE send troops President Trump and a Aircraft Carrier, one of your oldest Allies is in clear and present danger of a Communist Take over against the will of her people.

Ah come on now, since a few years ago they do actually have to “serve” three terms, 9 years IIRC, before they are “entitled”. NZ still has to catch up on that after they caught up on perks before.

You can always tell there is money to be made in a sc@m if there is a Turnbull sniffing around. His son is heavily involved in renewable financing.

Malcolm Turnbull is not a scientist and a stooge for the left of politics. He does not know what he is talking about and a supporter of the crazy idea that human beings have a magic wand called CO2 they can the global mean temperatures with. That’s why he got ditched as PM. His successor Scott Morisson is doing an outstanding job.
FYI, ‘climate change’ is mostly at the poles and results from slight variations in Earth’s 13 solar diameter motion above and below the sun annually, as caused by the orbits and gravity of 4 outer planets with 445 times the mass of Earth. As Earth rotates with an equatorial speed of ~1,677 km/h, every gas is spunout to greater altitudes the all become cooling agents. CO2 gets as far up as the upper mesosphere with -100C temperatures.

Wasn’t Brother Turnbull in charge once? If it was so good an idea he should have been able to get it done then. He didn’t! Therefore it is NOT such a good idea!

As a broker of carbon credits, Goldman Sachs will make endless A$, US$, €, etc., from the climate change scam. That’s why they put their people in charge of governments.

“I’m not political. If anything, I would like to see the climate change happen, so the science could be proved right, regardless of the consequences. This isn’t being political, it is being selfish. …” I think Phil jones said this not Turnbull.

Question: why do so many people in government and so many people in politics – not take the scientific evidence on climate change seriously: Answer: the scientific evidence is not so scientific after all because it is flawed and the methodology used is corrupted by activism.

Question: “When is physics going to mug political complacency and denialism?” Answer: when they get it right. And once they get it right they will no longer need to depend on the perceived power of words like science and physics to convince their audience.

Here in Australia many of us are fed up with this man. Most of us never wanted him in the first place but he whiteanted the man we voted for and placed himself in the top job. After he blew everything and left politics he promised to remain silent and not be a “miserable ghost”. But true to form he was incapable of remaining silent. Since then he’s done nothing but open his mouth every few days. Mostly to remind us how brilliant he was and to tell an entire country what it should be doing.

“pandemic-battered economies”
No, no, no, no. This pandemic hasn’t done anything to economies. We, or rather those listening to advice from the likes of Mr Ferguson have deliberately shut down economies. That ‘solution’ is not a medical one.

“When is physics going to mug political complacency and denialism? “

Well it mugged some guy called Malcolm Turnbull. Twice, as matter of fact. He was knocked off as Opposition Leader by climate realist Tony Abbott, then was again knocked off by Scott Morrison. Both times at least partly because of Turnbull’s lack of understanding of the climate data, which shows nothing much is happening in the real world.

I seem to recall that Lovelock stated on a BBC horizon programme (many years ago) that we needed more CO2 to stop the Earth cooling. I think I still have a recording somewhere too.

Mr Turnball is right. Physics, the real stuff, not models of it, will mug the politicians and kick them forcefully in the behind. But not with the result he hankers for. It will show them and, more importantly, the electorate what a crock the man-made climate change hoax really is and kick it decisively into the long grass.

From the article: “And so the question really is: why do so many people in government and so many people in politics – particularly in the Anglo sphere – not take the scientific evidence on climate change just as seriously [as the Wuhan virus]?”

The reason should be that there is no scientific evidence that human-caused climate change is real, and people are not dying of it all over the place.

The Wuhan virus has destroyed the lives of millions of innocent people. Human-Caused Climate Change is a Hoax that has not physically harmed anyone. There may be a lot of mental harm done from all the misinformation put out about human-caused climate change, but that doesn’t make human-caused climate change a reality in the real world.

Claiming there is scientific evidence of human-caused climate change doesn’t necessarily make it so, and in this case, demonstrates that Turnbull is either seriously misinformed, or is deliberately lying about the status of climate science.

Show us this evidence for Human-caused Climate Change, Mr. Turnbull. Other alarmists are invited to chime in with their evidence. Help ole Turnbull out.

Noone will be chiming in. That’s my prediction. Why won’t anyone be chiming it? Because they have no evidence and there is no evidence to have, so they will remain silent, as they should.

The virus did nothing of the sort, just like climate change. What destroyed the lives of millions was political action. Like climate change all based on faulty data and shonky computer models.

Ridiculous, Patrick. Faulty data and shonky computer models? It sounds like you drank the koolaide, Patrick. First of all, you, nor anyone else, has any idea whether the unmitigated death predictions are wrong. We won’t know this true figure until we know all about the infectiousness and lethality of the Wuhan virus, and we don’t know that right now, so claiming the data is faulty or shonky has not been established. And the computer model predicting mitigated death numbers looks to be tracking right along the prediction.

We’ll know soon enough about the virus computer models. I’ll remind you of what you said here. Or maybe I’ll just let it go so as not embarrass you.

Our current “shonky” computer model is predicting between 100,000 and 140,000 mitigated deaths from the Wuhan virus in the U.S.. The death toll is almost 80,000 now and climbing. Twenty thousand more and your “shonky” claim turns into a puff of smoke.

You should just watch the numbers for a while, and not make any new predictions.
