British Climate Activists: “Corona is the cure. Humans are the disease”

Corona is the cure – tweet from an account claiming to represent XR East Midlands

Guest essay by Eric Worrall

h/t Breitbart / James Delingpole; A long standing Twitter account which claims to represent Extinction Rebellion East Midlands has been promoting flyers celebrating the deaths caused by coronavirus.

XR leadership are trying to distance themselves from this obscenity, by claiming the tweet is a false flag attack by far right extremists.

GWPF thinks the tweet is genuine.

Obviously its possible that someone hacked the twitter account or whatever, or maybe XR East Midlands has gone rogue, but as GWPF points out, this foul flier echoes other things greens have said, about wanting to drastically reduce the number of humans on the planet by any means necessary.

Perhaps some of them regret their words. Prince Phillip, husband of the Queen of England, once said “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation (1988)“.

His son Prince Charles recently tested positive for Covid-19.

Something to think about next time greens come calling for your support.

From the article: “Perhaps some of them regret their words. Prince Phillip, husband of the Queen of England, once said “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation (1988)“.

His son Prince Charles recently tested positive for Covid-19.”

Wouldn’t it be ironic if Phillip gave the Wuhan virus to Charles. Has anyone checked Phillip?

“At his age we would know if he had it, from the post-mortem”

A 93 year old woman in Washington State, at the very Lifecare center where the majority of the deaths occurred, recovered and is doing fine.

Considering the trainees I have had over the last 10 years in my profession, if other professions are the same, mankind is in for a real shakeup once us older folk with knowledge and work ethic are gone anyways.

Absolutely- I’ve worked with people half my age and less and to be honest most of the time I’m amazed if they can drag themselves out of bed to get to work on time- a lot of them seem to think they are doing their employers a favour by just turning up and have no concept of things like additional value. I know of course that not all younger people are the same, but an awful lot of them seem to have an industrial sized sense of entitlement.

Strong parallels between Climate Alarmism and the Corona Virus scare. Media hype, number fudgery, computer quackery, political opportunism, political sanctions on all public activities. Get used to it, people, it’s the Brave New World.

The environmental movement in general, and the CAGW alarmist movement in particular, carries a very strong misanthropic element. Humans and human thriving are less important than wilderness and an untouched (by human hands) Earth.

As a young person, I was propagandized into thinking Earth Day was a good thing, a necessary thing. But the anti-human misanthropists have spoiled it completely, for me. That’s why I’ll never again celebrate an “Earth Day” or and “Earth Hour” or any such malarkey, ever again. I’ll never vote for it. I’ll never respect it. I now mock it.

This is the organisation that revelled in their non-organised, assembly of like minded individuals, rather than admitting it’s an organised group of anarchists. On this basis they could avoid anyone in the ‘organisation’ being fingered for the blame, for the chaos they brought to cities around the world in 2019.

So it’s now come back to bite them. Despite denials from ‘organisation leaders’ that this is not the view of xr, there is no organisation, so it can now be accepted that this is very much the view of xr supporters.

There is no organisation according to them, so supporters are free to express themselves at will.

“organised group of anarchists”

That, sirrah, is an oxymoron (or in the case of XR, just moron).

I hope, that at the end of the story, all concerned here at WUWT, commenters, authors are still present and safe.

False Flag? No. These death-wishes have been seeping into environmentalist literature for decades. Like this one from 1989:

“It is cosmically unlikely that the developed world will choose to end its orgy of fossil-energy consumption, and the Third World its suicidal consumption of landscape. Until such time as Homo sapiens should decide to rejoin nature, some of us can only hope for the right virus to come along.”

David M. Graber, “Mother Nature as a Hothouse Flower: ’The End of Nature’ by Bill McKibben,” Los Angeles Times, October 22, 1989; https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1989-10-22-bk-726-story.html

Alex Epstein in his Moral Case for Fossil Fuels quotes D M Graber joining McKibben as a biocentrist with a summary by the former of the latter’s message which concludes with the words: “Until such time as homo sapiens should decide to rejoin nature, some of us can only hope for the right virus to come along.”

I don’t know if he now regrets it. But should.

To be fair, the Extinction Rebellion denial doesn’t say the account tweeting pictures of the fliers was a right-wing plant, only that the fliers were.

But why would they be tweeting photos of the fliers if they didn’t support the message?

Doesn’t pass the smell test.

A devious means to further the message. “See that? That’s not us. Really, it isn’t. Nope, for sure, not us.” Plausible deniability.

That’s what I love about those nutbags. They cannot help it and put their murderous ideas on display for everyone to clearly see. Explain that to the average person. Explain to them that we all must die in order to save the planet. I want to see that. Those folks are nuts and they do us the favor of being nuts in broad daylight. Sorry politicians – your carefully crafted virtue-signaling messages are getting a reality check. Pick your side – I vote for humans.

This obscene thinking is characteristic of Extinction Rebellion. The thinking includes people who should know better suchas the Duke of Edinburgh. The thinking stems from the concept of Eugenics, and the Nazi’s concept of the Master Race. It is also direct descendants of Darwin’s Theory of Evolution which was used and was of itself rather a political and religious statement rather than a useable scientific theory.

Lead by example. At least the Hindis that burned themselves to death showed that they believed in their cause. These people want everyone else to die, and leave all the good stuff for them.

The UK coppers are usually quick to jump on what they judge to be ‘h@te speech’, the leaflet looks like h@te speech with a capital H.
Free speech is important precisely because it exposes people like ER for what they are.

Just another example of the ignorant, the ill-educated and the insane being led by sociopaths to their destruction. XR is just like most of Gang Green; they believe in Earth First and humanity last! Why else would they force Africa and other parts of the Third World to forgo prosperity and possible freedom by not using inexpensive and abundant fossil fuels?
The apocalyptic doomsday religion that encompasses Gang Green is just one sect of the Progressive cult that has infected media and schooling throughout the West. Financed by China and, presumably, Russia these totalitarians hope to relegate the US and the West to the ash heap of history and give China a chance to rule the world with it’s odd brand of the communist religion. With help from Google and Facebook the Matrix will ensue; kill your TV and ignore the talking heads! They only want to control your fear and ignorance; if you stay open minded and willing to learn they LOSE!

“Queen of England”??

There has been no such thing since Queen Elizabeth the First. Our Queen is the Queen of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

That, dear comment editors, includes Scotland and Wales. She is also the Queen of the Commonwealth, including my current home, Australia.

Minor point, the Queen is not Queen of the commonwealth, she is head of the commonwealth a position that doesn’t have to be the monarch; many of the commonwealth countries are republics.
She is queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Australia, Canada and possibly some other countries.
In the Channel Islands she is Duke of Normandy.
Hawaii is the only non British entity that has the union flag on its own flag.

Greta Thunberg, who really is quite honest, even if deluded, has admitted that she doesn’t like many people. In my experience, most people who are extremely moralistic also don’t like many people. If you don’t approve of sin, if you believe that sin should be punished, there are a lot of people you’re going to dislike, and there are a lot of people you’re going to want to punish.

What irks me plenty is that moralistic people claim to be interested in enhancing human wellbeing, but take such an obvious delight in immiserating people they don’t like. Anti-smokers (who get up my nose in a big way) are just plain vindictive. They really, really want to hurt smokers, and then they claim that this aggressive cruelty is motivated by a deep love of other people. Yeah? You can install smoking rooms in hospitals if you really want to, but it’s more fun to force sick smokers in wheel chairs to go outside to smoke in the winter.

“The Spanish government has withdrawn 9,000 Chinese-made coronavirus testing kits from use after it emerged that they had an accurate detection rate of just 30%, reports Sam Jones in Madrid.”
Could it be that the Chinese rapid infection decline is due to the poor quality testing kits ?
