Merry Christmas Everyone!

I’ve been able to take some much needed time-off, thanks to Charles Rotter aka “Charles the Moderator”, but I wanted to say how much I appreciate this opportunity to reach around the world with our message, and to touch lives. I’ve been given a great gift.

I also wish to thank Kip Hansen, who was instrumental in me getting back on my feet by helping my employees recover after the devastating #campfire. I very nearly lost my business due to the fallout. Thanks to everyone who helped. The situation is slowly turning around now, and I have hope.

In 2019, there are going to be some changes, good changes (though some may not see it that way) and I hope to rejoin daily operations. Look for some announcements soon.

In the mean time, I appreciate you all; the readers, the moderators, the guest contributors, and even my detractors, because you fuel my fire. I wish you all a Merry Christmas, wherever you are, and a happy and prosperous new year in 2019.- Anthony

Merry Christmas Anthony, Charles tM, and all guest authors, readers and comment contributors. WUWT is a source of sanity in the midst of a mindless, brainwashing mass movement that defies all logic and sense. I often find myself wondering what Edmund Burke or Thomas Jefferson or Alexander de Tocqueville would have to say about the politics of CAGW. Even though those great thinkers are long gone, I still get to read what all of you have to say. So, thank you. And a very happy, healthy, prosperous 2019.

And just a final note to those who may be afraid of the coming climate. Please try to manage your fear, and study the reasons for that fear. And reject any portion that comes from logical fallacies, false propaganda, and exaggerated or tendentious science. We humans are inventive and motivated, and we will solve or adapt to any real problems. Have a bit of faith in your fellow humans.

A wonderful list of greetings.
One by the beatniks from the early 1950s is worth adding:

I’ll add that I live in Vancouver B.C.
And will pass on how we forecast the weather through the fall and winter months.

If you can the mountains, you know that it is going to rain.
If you can’t see them, you know it is raining.

I agree; Merry Christmas to all. (I think I just made it on the West Coast.) Some of the commenters keep you on your toes. It’s a pleasure to see so many concerned about good science.

Happy Christmas to all, especially those sad people who had time to post on the 25th!😊.
For the record, it was a cold, dry Christmas here in Norfolk, I had to de-ice the windscreen to get to Midnight Mass.

Looking forward to next year .

Seasoned gratings, and enjoy a your festering holiday season, …
… happy humbug, and may your coming New Year be as preposterous as the last 12 months.
😯God bless wattsupwiththat and all who sail with here . 😀

(From a humorous Mexican tv series)
– Is Santa Claus married?
– Well yes, he was married. To Mary.
– Who is Mary?
– Mary Christmas!

Mr Watts, I don’t know the reason of the problems you’ve had. It seems ironic that, walking towards the fire, have been threatend by a campfire.
Glad that you are back on the track. Learning a lot from your posts and from comments, also looking forward to a healthy and decreasingly alarmist 2019.

[Not a “campfire”, but rather a very large forest and brush fire, which began burning in the hilly and steep terrain on the Camp Creek . Hence “The Camp Fire” – which burned many thousands of acres around several towns. .mod]

A bit late to wish you all a Merry Christmas but in time you wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

And a huge thank you to Anthony, Charles, Kip and the whole team for the last 12 months. May 2019 be easier on you all. Best wishes to all contributors.
