Trump posts first order of business – kill the Climate Action Plan and Waters of the U.S. rule

From USAToday:

Trump begins with call to kill climate action plan

WASHINGTON —- As President Trump delivered his inaugural address Friday, his new White House team posted a proposal to eliminate President Obama’s environmental regulations.

“For too long, we’ve been held back by burdensome regulations on our energy industry. President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule,” reads the top issue brief on the new president’s White House web site. “

New executive actions are expected later Friday as the nation’s 45th president begins his administration.”

At noon, as Trump took the oath of office, the government switched over the White House web site from Obama’s to Trump’s. (Obama’s is now frozen in time, archived by the National Archives and Records Administration under the Presidential Records Act.)

The new president has already taped another White House duty, the Saturday morning radio address to be broadcast tomorrow morning.

After an inaugural address saying that “the forgotten men and women will be forgotten no longer,” Trump had lunch with members of Congress and led the inaugural parade.

Al Gore is ready to due battle if necessary. We all are , enough is enough. To destroy America and its water . For the rich to get richer is not happening any longer. Especially for oil that is not even for us . It is all to be sold to foreign investors. Thank God Obama has made and enlarged over 28 National Monuments. That’s land they can’t touch . Ocean they can’t touch ! Pulled a Teddy he did . Bullshitlery I say!

LOL.Obama shut down all of the National Parks and Monuments out of spite — including White house tours which are staffed entirely by volunteers. He is/was a petty, petulant vindictive little man. Good riddance.

Kind of like the Whitlam of the US. Whitlam, one of the worst Prime Ministers Australia ever had, was an extremely nasty little man (despite being taller than me). He hounded a good man, the then Governor General of Australia into an early grave.

Interesting how you mention AlGore and then mention the rich getting richer. Few have profited more from AGW scaremongering than ManBearPig. Your comments regarding oil and oil profits are ignorant and wrong…just sayin.

Yes, she’s either quite agitated or not very well schooled, maybe English is her second language. I’d be about that inept on a Spanish blog, myself, so I won’t judge. I do hope however, that Algore intends to spend his own capital “doing battle”.

For much of that area, horizontal drilling will allow companies to extract the oil and gas beneath the national monuments without touching the parks. It would only require a President with a pen and a phone.

Al Gore? Hmmmm . . . isn’t he the science simpleton that made the most fundamental error of reversing cause and effect when claiming that increasing atmospheric CO2 levels caused increasing global temperatures. In fact, the best scientific paleoclimate data shows that increasing global CO2 levels LAG increasing global temperatures by something like 200 to 1000 years. So Gore got it exactly wrong!
And on the subject, note that despite the above Al Gore was awarded the Nobel Prize (shared jointly with the IPCC) in 2007 “for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change.” This was, perhaps, the first time the Nobel Prize committee totally ignored science fact-checking in determining the recipient of a Nobel Peace Prize.
(Nota bene: as is they felt the need to further demonstrate their loss of credibility and respect, the Nobel Prize selection committee reconfirmed their incompetence in 2009 by awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama for his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples” based solely on his being US President for less than 10 months, and with no prior history of him doing what was given as the reason for this award. As to what transpired after this award, history documents the Nobel Prize selection committee is certainly not prescient.)

Algea, Bath-House B, “Peace-is-at-hand-on-election-eve” Kissinger, and those wonderful EU folks who foreclosed on Europe . . . have confirmed that Nobel prizes . . . even Pewlizer’s . . . can be handed out as political wands in attempts to confer respectability, acceptability, and/or legitimacy on The Financial Agenda’s footmen and gofers.

When I was growing up Lake Ontario was so polluted that swimming was banned everywhere. My hometown had a waterside park. it had a fence along the waterfront to prevent people from swimming there. Anti-pollution regulations came in and people now swim in Lake Ontario.
I don’t want to go back to the old days.

Right TAG. What you want is for the EPA to continue that work. Not chase CO2 which never stopped anybody at Lake Ontario from doing anything.

Perhaps President Trump (gotta nice ring to it dontcha think) has been reading ‘The Australian’ of late among other things –
“A plan for South Australia to import more baseload power from Victoria to ease its power crisis has been suspended by the national electricity market operator because of a “potential stability issue” linked to the state’s wind-reliant grid.
This comes as almost 60,000 homes and businesses were without power in South Australia on Thursday night, with 5000 still disconnected yesterday afternoon, after a storm caused the state’s fourth major blackout in as many months.
The storm was the seventh severe weather event since July to smash South Australia’s electricity infrastructure, including the cyclonic system that contributed to a devastating statewide blackout in September.
The Australian Energy Market Operator, which has been investigating the statewide blackout, issued a notice to the electricity market of a “potential stability issue” when high power imports coincide with high levels of wind generation.
This had led to a review of transfer limits across the newly upgraded Heywood interconnector, from which South Australia imports baseload power from Victoria, and caused AEMO to “defer” a plan to gradually increase capacity. In the interim, flows from Victoria to South Australia will be limited to a maximum of 600 megawatts.
The September blackout happened after severe storms knocked out transmission lines and a wind-reliant grid could not cope with the sudden, large deviation in frequency, tripping the interconnector to Victoria that South Australia relies on for its stable baseload power.
South Australia’s Labor government, which has a renewable energy target of 50 per cent by 2025, encouraged the closure of its last coal-fired power station in May last year, as its renewable energy mix rose above 40 per cent.”

In addition to the United States backing away from the climate change meme, Canada is starting to wake up to the scam. And it’s starting at the best possible place of all, at the local level. They’ve hired their own scientists, which when read, sounds like pages taken right off this and other skeptical blogs. What’s interesting is that the data samples are in much finer detail. There is debate about the integrity of the IPCC, who has oversight, and whether Canada should go it’s own way. In fact according to their data, it’s a concern since they are a high latitude country. It’s shows cooling for the next few decades. Why did they look into it ? How long will the ice roads last ?
While I am thankful that the support system for this scam is being pulled, I would like for the skeptical point of view to win on merit. I would like for the IPCC and all those associated with it to have their feet held to the fire. Can they even admit they are wrong ? Probably not.

“The only people with reason to oppose the rule are polluters who threaten our clean water,” senior White House adviser Brian Deese told reporters during a conference call. He added that the rule “is based on common sense. … The status quo is rife with unsustainable confusion over what’s protected and what’s not.”
I think the people removing this will be sorry later…

That is why Mr. Trump seeks a universal RIFF staffing cutback of 10-20%. The planted fools are also last hired; so first RIFFed. A select way to get them out and leave no agency for them to flee towards.

This,”by almost every measure, America is a better, stronger place than it was when we started.” is an easily demonstrable lie. Just look at the financial situation of the average black household in America and compare between Jan 2009 and Jan 2017.

There is a personal God and the Lord Tramp wished that God gentleness America and its people. Why is it that the Tramp became president of America? There are several reasons, the first is that he realized that today’s politics and science, which were launched by the devil walks. Science twists and deceives the laws of nature like enrichment and strengthening tajkunizma, a policy that seeks headed idiots, who have lost each component of humanity, to liquidate as many people on our planet, so they got hold of worldly wealth. Look, what are the reasons so many wars in which the butchering people. On our planet, there is no one kind of animal that destroys each other, thinking the same species of animals, such as humans, also some special types of animals, especially those in power.
I think it is time that the Tramp and Putin, as the two most influential men on the planet, arrange construction of the road to the future of humanity, without destroying anything that people udadili, and God has provided all the raw materials, so that the Earth can nourish, great and the tens of billions of people. The condition is that they answer those who would swallow the planet for breakfast as a pill. And it would have been a little bit.
As far as climate change and global warming, see what is science and what science policy. Since the percentage of some 97% of scientists in that field, accepted the fiction that these climate changes are a consequence of human factors. What they are now, and that can be considered scientists, when everyone now “plugged muzzle” due to deception and lies in order to tajkunizma.
I now claim that the climate changes taking place in certain cycles that cause relations between the planets and the sun. Only there’s not much persistent that support it.
I’ll find a link with the Lord Trump and offer him my proof: when the cause and how to cause climate change. In short you to know. These are the magnetic fields !!!
When you have closer ties with Trump, let him this hint.
This would not know at all times how the climate is changing on all planets.
Hello Trump and his policies !!
