National Review’s Katherine Timpf interviews protestors at the Flood Wall Street climate march. Some segments are just unbearable to watch.
The video pretty much tells you all you need to know.

So where is Jim Henson, Kermit, and Mrs Piggie ?
The loons on display are the rmenants and inheritors of the zombie mob that abandoned restraint and civility in the 60’s under the guise of various excuses. Their apparent happiness to burn houses down is only a small step away from doing so with their inhabitants still in them and then another very small step to ‘no lets drag the inahbitants out and cut their heads off and take selfies’ . Wow won’t that trend on Twitter!
All we are seeing is extremism as a lifestyle choice for narcissistic nobodies just like tattoos, peircings and wardrobe choice.
Well, the edited highlights of the protesters may not have been very attractive.
But the journalist was.

I’m not sure if this was representative of the marchers as a whole. But if it was, you can see what this is really about. Nothing to do with climate. Just same old same old anti capitalism, anti-globalisation claptrap. The lack of intellectual ability is also striking. Should have made Leonardo and Ban Ki feel right at home
Re the threat to burn houses down:
I am aware of two incidents where this actually happened:
One was the fire-bombing of the Calgary Petroleum Club.
Another was the fire-bombing of a friend’s house who was a retired oilsands executive. In the latter case, if anyone was home they could have been killed – the heat was so intense the doorknobs melted.
These global warming alarmists are badly misinformed AND some of them are imbalanced and dangerous.
People like Al Gore and Jim Hansen are inciting violence when they spread their alarmist nonsense.
There is no credible scientific basis for the alleged global warming crisis. In reality, the global warming crisis does not exist.
Fossil fuels keep those living in northern climes from freezing and starving to death.
It IS that simple.
The planet is indeed in danger, and it has nothing to do with climate change.
I laughed when I saw the advert that came up at the bottom of the post (on my computer anyway)
“….ask your doctor, help is available”
Yeah, some of them definitely need help!
that kid at 1:58 grabbing the mic was like “c’mon dad, you’re embarrassing us right now”
The global warming alarmist movement is beginning to remind me of the anti fox hunting effort that occurred in the UK a few years ago. A few mindless anti-capitalist, anti-class morons managed to convince the nation that we all wanted to ban hunting. Most people didn’t really have an opinion and when there were countryside marches to London in support of the status quo there were half a million marchers. However, this did not sway the general direction of the ban movement and the UK lost one of its most colorful traditions and links to the past.
Global warming is dangerous because the same traits are present. The activist and anti-capitalist minority have managed to make it look like everyone thinks like they do. It is dangerous because on the back of all this nonsense, legislation will be passed that impoverishes us all. Unlike fox hunting, we won’t just lose some cultural links to our past. This time we may lose our identity. As the Gipper once said : “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction”.
We must all continue this fight.
Knowing what happens during a fox hunt I’m not surprised it got banned. It’s a kind of barbarity that should have been consigned to history before the 20th century.
“colourful” indeed.
I doubt you do “know” and very much doubt you have ever experienced it … Yes.. It’s colourful … and brutal and bloody and maybe even cruel. The fox ends up dead torn to pieces by dogs. And yet half a million people marched in London to support it. Far more than ever marched to ban it.
And so is bull fighting in Spain … After being tormented with spears the bull ends up on its knees with gallons of blood pouring through its mouth while thousands cheer. And then it dies. Do you want to ban that to ? How anout hunting ? . Or fishing ?
But your opinion is the whole point of this comparison. It is ideologicaly formed and not in line with the way everyone in Spain wants to live their lives. Hence the analogy to global warming activism. A minority have an opinion about how we all must live our lives, and what we may or may not do. They make it look like everyone agrees with them, propose legislation and then we all end up being banned from doing things we want to do.
And I thought some of the folks in Leno’s “Jaywalking” segments were clueless. “Unbearable to watch” is right (and a good pun).

As much fun as it may be to poke fun at these folks, I’m wondering about National Review’s selection and editing process & decisions.
It’s not that difficult to prove a point if you can cherry pick the data, or the people. Anyone who watches TV knows that there seems to be a virtually inexhaustible reserve of people willing to act foolish in front of the camera.
But really, who goes on camera and suggests burning down houses? Not your normal run- of- the-mill hysterical gang green zealot, I’d suggest, but rather some kind of agent provocateur.
Ironic that the idiot with the green flag says “Ask Adolf Hitler”. Even assuming this were possible, it’s the alarmists and their draconian, Orwellian ‘carbon’ agenda that bears the striking resemblance to Hitler’s policies.
the guy that wants to burn houses down should be arrested. If he was a skeptic talking about burning down the houses of politicians he would be. The fact that he wasn’t suggests Steve P is right. These mobs always have agent provocateurs and paid protestors.

Some deep thinkers there… ah, yup!
The only thing that video teaches us about temperature is that Katherine Timpf is hot.
