Antarctica continues to defy the global warming script, with a report from Meteo France, that June this year was the coldest Antarctic June ever recorded, at the French Antarctic Dumont d’Urville Station.
According to the press release, during June this year, the average temperature was -22.4c (-8.3F), 6.6c (11.9F) lower than normal. This is the coldest June ever recorded at the station, and almost the coldest monthly average ever – only September 1953 was colder, with a recorded average temperature of -23.5c (-10.3F).
June this year also broke the June daily minimum temperature record, with a new record low of -34.9c (-30.8F).
Other unusual features of the June temperature record are an unusual excess of sunlight hours (11.8 hours rather than the normal 7.4 hours), and unusually light wind conditions.
Dumont d’Urville Station has experienced ongoing activity since 1956. According to the Meteo France record, there is no other weather station for 1000km in any direction.

Children only really snap when frozen solid.
Otherwise, if just cold as you say, they have an aesthetic blue tinge but will usually still bend a little.

Peter needs a new play book. The old one is 180 degrees out of sync with reality. Increased temps mean increased sea water temps, which mean increased water in the atmosphere, which means greater water distribution globally.. Increasing temps increases water vapor while cooling temps decrease water vapor.. The earth has shown the supposed link of CO2 to water vapor to be minuet to nonexistent and that CO2 trails temperature changes. The world has been cooling for some time already.
Read a book entitled “South”, written about the expeditions of Sir Ernest Shackleton around 1911. You’ll find that temps like this aren’t exactly “news”, except when a variation of 2-3 degrees is considered “news” justifying energy taxes to fight “global warming/cooling/climate ennui”. Every year, during the summer (December in Antarctica), the ice shelf melts completely, enabling a carerfully timed voyager to arrive at the coast of the polar ice cap. Every June, it refreezes, and freezes for 400 miles or more from the coast. Shackleton’s ship was suddenly caught 400 miles out as the water suddenly froze, and within a few weeks, the hull was crushed. They were trapped until the following Spring, when the shelf melted, and they were then able to row away in several dinghies they’d salvaged from the main ship. Both ice caps have ALWAYS melted entirely in Spring, and refroze every Winter, and it’s only now “news” because the average American has been encumbered with a public school “education” that qualifies him for life on the dole, endlessly voting for Democrats. FYI: Al Gore did, in fact “study” science for a full semester at Harvard. Got a D in it…
I agree with most of the posts, most of us know the sun is a variable star, but I have measured something else too, the inclination of earth axis have changed 2′ in the last decade according to my observations and that points to variability factor to influence the earth orbit of 0.2 degree at perigee and that means the polar regions winters will be shorter and with more sun, about 10 minutes more.
It may not seams much, but remember the sun drives the winds, ionization and temps at the poles.
So let me get this straight ,like the sun has more to do with how hot the earth gets then cow farts and my Honda ,sorry I just don’t freakin believe it man .The sun is like so tiny ,like the top of my thumb man ,and cow farts suck . Wow ,but it is cool about my Honda,i don’t want to kill any polar bears cause I gotta drive to work or sh*t.
As for the mention of Brisbane, have there been any observations of chemtrails in the area? Oh, excuse me, I mean “geo-engineering aerosol dispersement”. There is no such animal as a “chemtrail”. Except those that get left on a daily basis above my house, oriented north-south, and outnumber the scheduled air traffic.

Inland NSW (New South Wales), we also recorded -5 C. this morning with a very thick frost. It’s been noticeably getting colder these last few years, complete with snow, which we didn’t used to get at all, normally.
The reason it is so cold is because man-made CO2 traps the cold molecules so they can’t escape the atmosphere, ergo, it gets colder and colder. We must stop all man-made CO2 for the sake of our children, if they don’t get aborted. We must also get more taxpayer money to buy carbon credits so that we can stop all this cooling that’s happening in Antarctica and North America with the Polar Vortex. It’s all so clear.

I agree with Teddy Novak, but try telling that to the disciples of said “religion”. You’d have more satisfaction talking to a brick wall.
I read in one of the above posts that said ALGORE got an education from Harvard. That may be true but his diploma came from a box of Cracker Jacks. On the left coast of America there is a lot of proof that ugly can be fixed with a sharp knife and a skilled doctor, but stupid………thats forever.

We miscalculated. CO2 causes cooling. THIS science is settled.
I don’t know what happened, but someone should take a screen shot of the Antarctic sea ice extent.
It looks like a giant triangular UFO crashed into the Antarctic and wiped out about 1 million KM^2 of sea ice….. LOL!

I’m sure that it’s some kind of satellite anomaly, but it sure is a convenient one.
It’ll be interesting to see how this data is treated after the satellite “anomaly” is “fixed”….
Mother nature keeps doing its best to show Algore is an idiot, but his followers and “concensus of Climate scientists ” ( Miss Grady’s kindergarden class in Loma Linda, Calif) cannot be swayed from thie Global warming religious beliefs, even if they are knee deep in snow on the equator.
