John Holdren and Paul Ehrlich famously lost a bet with Julian Simon (a bet that the price of five key metals would be higher in 1990 than in 1980.) I fully expect his predictions to follow that illustrious tradition. Unfortunately, I am riding a wagon he helps to steer.

Must be similar to the magical property of CO2, that amplifies its IR properties.

Nothing can prove or disprove global
climate changewarming just as the existence of god can be neither proved or disproved. Global warming exists beyond the ken of science – that is why we need the AGW priesthood to read the signs and wonders and inform us lowly mortals how we may be ab$olved of our climate sins.New definition of an “ice-age”: a counterintuitive example of an interglacial in action.

Now John, please understand computer models don’t “tell” us anything but if you do think they are such great predictors, then please understand you need another model, ’cause the current crop endorsed by the IPCC get it all wrong.

I watched the video 4 times.
My takeaway was that Dr. John Holdren has a belief.
It sickens my stomach that this comes from my White House.

Questions for Dr John Holdren or anyone who agrees with him
Were the previous record low temperatures across the US due to a Polar Vortex? How far back do we have to go to find the last Polar Vortex that was not due to global warming?
When were all the earlier Polar Vortex incidents against which we can measure the claim of growing frequency of such events? One cannot be the basis for saying we’re seeing increased frequency.
Holdren could have stopped at saying that the current episode is weather, not climate. So why didn’t he? Could it be a decade and a half of no increase made this difficult?
