Whoo boy. Maybe he just better stick to bottled water ranting, because he’s now 0-2 for climate and political commentary. Cue the America’s Dumbest Criminals theme intro.
Here’s the tweet the link to the image (image link – which he has already deleted):
Irony? Coincidence? When I downloaded the NYTimes Eastwood convention story, the ad on the page was about dementia. http://twitter.com/PeterGleick/status/241601815081259009/photo/1pic.twitter.com/rANnHafU
Gleick thinks he’s pretty smart, in that Wile E. Coyote sort of way…until Lucia Liljegren comes along with a line worthy of Eastwood himself:
Lucia, you just made my day!

Probably more in line with his Dear Leader’s problem: Confident Ignorance. They know what they know, but what they know ain’t so!
Obama’s ‘Confident Ignorance’ At Root Of His Failure

Even Obama, ‘the most brilliant president evah‘, fell right into Eastwood’s trap. After claiming he wasn’t watching the RNC speeches, at midnight that night he tweeted a response to Clint – a photo of the back of a chair labelled ‘the president’ with the back of his head peeking over the top, and the tweet “this chair’s taken.” Even in trying for a rejoinder, Obama turns his back on the American people.
Wonder how Obama likes being compared all over the web and in the media to Jimmy Stewart’s invisible 6′ rabbit, Harvey?
Gleick must be angling for the Climate Prat award; what a dumb thing to say! (More evidence that lefties can’t do humor.)
The rejoinder, though, is right on the mark.

I’m now an even bigger fan of Lucia. Brilliantly done.
