While we wait for Nick Stokes and David Appell to work up excuses for their embracing the “climate scientists get death threats” fiasco, I thought I’d share this spinoff of this short passage I wrote yesterday:
Likewise, blogger/scientist Nick Stokes, who fancies himself as being cool and methodical, was completely taken in, and like Appell, seems unable to come to terms with his own quik-set epoxy position that seems to be a product of the tribalism he and Appell share.
Inspired, Benjamin D. Hillicoss has coined this new branch of post normal science, with a hat tip to climate science.

I just love this bit, how is anyone meant to notice an attack on the railways from their normal operation following the major stupidity of what the EU has done to them.

In my years of exoxological studies I have found a way to reverse the side effects of this science…
The immediate removal of the binding re-agent causes the bond holding the two principal components together to vanish. This causes immediate failure. The binding agent in question…Money. It goes by many names…the greenback, the Euro, Yen, Won, even the Pound Sterling…but watch what happens when removed from the equation.

Eproxycology: the study of the hardened mindset which holds that calculated or proxy outputs are a better representation of reality than empirical data.
Epoxycology: the study of the irreversible mindset that turns any base and otherwise worthless speculation into a hardened world view impervious to any neutralising falsification.
Epoxycologist: an expert in the treatment of any Epoxycological (hard, cancer-like) growths that destroy the logic processing ability of the suffer’s brain while simultaneously inflating the ego to life-threatening proportions; also see Appell Juice.
Stokeiometry: the measurement of irrational climate alarm; metrics are used to quantify the speed, direction and risk of violence posed by any rising storm of B.S. These alarmist measurements can be made the wild or on just about anything found in Nature. The journal reader is cautioned that Climate B.S. is an integral part of Nature’s editorial policy and carries a CAGW+14 parental warning.
Myles Allen definitely has an advanced degree of Epoxology. He seems to be anchored in it.
His future may be plastered to the sticky bonds of the cohesive forces of the fragile adhesion and failure of the manufacturing activities associated with hockey sticks.
