I’m sure many of you have heard of the “complete list of things caused by global warming”
Dr. John Brignell, a retired professor of industrial instrumentation at the University of Southampton in Britain, compiled an impressive list of alarmist claims cited in news reports that man-made global warming has caused, or will cause. There are 826 things on that list, some are even contradictory.
Now, to put a visual face on this list, we have a video. While it doesn’t cover all 826 things that are “caused by global warming.” It’s fun and entertaining to watch because it picks some of the most salient effects. Don’t watch it while eating your morning corn flakes.

That was hilarious!!!! But what I find a bit of a concern is the number of these scare stories originate in the UK and Australia. Hummm…
Global warming is also causing a proliferation of funny videos!
As an Australian, a country whose population is approximately 0.035% (a third of one percent) of the world’s total human population, I am mortified to see that our media is responsible for at least 25% of stupid alarmist media beat-ups worldwide.
A sad indictment indeed of our educational institutions.
The one item I kinda had to agree with was the claim that AGW will lead to increased mental illness. It certainly seems to have driven quite a few of its proponents completely around the bend.
Ouch! (Yesterday’s raisin bran!)
Bigger spiders and shrinking sheep…but can there be a realistic explanation?
Oh, I know: increased CO2 and reduced O2 affect them both, to the benefit of the spiders, so it .
Spider muscles are anaerobic and
Sheep delirious; arachnophobic…
Both now spend their days running…
The same race they’re in,
but with opposing goals.
ahhhhhhh! Climate Change! It’s out to get me!
…goals opposing 🙂
Thanks for the warming(Oops warning), as a result my monitor was saved!
I have been a frequent visitor to John Brignell’s blog for years. Do pay him a visit, and you will see that it’s not only AGW, but DDT and Asbestos to name but two other scandals, and that’s before he starts his attacks on the statistics of epidemiology.
Don’t read him instead of WUWT but in addition to.

His witty and pithy barbs against the idiot fringe are highly entertaining, and he is exactly the sort of eloquent man we need to debate with Al Gore, who would run a mile to avoid him!

Don’t worry Patrick, our newspapers are like vacuum cleaners, they pick up fluff from anywhere.
Here is something else I’m sure many of you have heard of also:

You took the words right out of my mouth Dave!
Best example?
Jo Abbess
If you want to see a good example – look at her site.

Patrick Davis, Yes, we often get confused with Austria.
Australia is the place where you find good humour.

the main thing that i believe is that your brain shrinks if you belive in global warming
So….. let’s see… never, ever breathe on yourself! It’s that dirty CO2!!!!
And, and, and… germs just flock to it.
What a bunch of crap… this is right down Tamino’s flocks’ alley as I learned after spending some time reading on his site recently, what a cesspool! They’ll eat that list up. And guys, I understand it’s all 100% pure peer reviewed, the good stuff, no need to question it!
That is just about as funny as when those zany scientists said they could put a person on the Moon.
Everybody knows a warmer Planet will have absolutely no effect on life on this Planet, just like the Ice ages had no effect, it is hilarious to suggest otherwise.
From the Jo Abbess site: “Digging high calorie substances out of the ground and burning them in very large quantities is having a negative effect on the ability of the Earth to sustain Life. Ponder that for a while.”
I would argue that statement as the opposite: “Digging high calorie substances out of the ground and burning them in very large quantities is having a positive effect on the ability of the Earth to sustain Life. Ponder that for a while.”
Consider that the current world population is only sustainable because of the energy reserves we use. Check out the book ” Eating Fossil Fuels” by Dale Allen Pfeiffer
Jo’s web makes many statements that are simply wild speculation and not substantiated.

Global warming affects population fertility- think of the endless variables to be researched!
My initial impression was that the list of things caused by global warming was supposed to be a list of actual claims, but when I followed the asteroid story I discovered that it was a joke.
Criminal activities are certainly on the rise….scams at least…
Global warming is responsible for the latest ‘Darwin Award’-

it was greatly riveting to read wattsupwiththat.com
I yearn for to reproduce your register in my blog. It can?
And you et an account on Twitter?
The positive effect also derives from CO2’s “fertilization” of plants.
Global Warming causes… computer-assisted-propaganda!
