“Good luck, Anthony, and thanks for this wonderful place.”
And thanks to the moderators as well! You must have been bloody busy after the 10:10 fiasco. Thanks for your tireless work!

No … I’m not even going to ask … (Grr Snarl – wants to know …)
Whatever the reason, enjoy the day and may future days hold even better things in store!

Maybe a juicy but unsubstantiated (and unsubstantiatable) rumor regarding tomorrow’s physics Nobel?

10:10 seems to be loosing their sponsors fast now

Things always turn out best for those that make the best out of the way things turn out. Like climate, good and bad are human perceptions. May your perception always be good on the way things turn out. To that end, know that our thoughts/prayers are with you.

When my wife’s diagnosis came out, that was the start of a string of bad days, but when the surgery was deemed successful and the prognosis was positive, that was a very good day indeed. I hope this is the start of many good days.
Your family have endured much during the last few years, and I hope this is a good day for all of them.

Anthony,
I respect your privacy. In the final analysis – ain’t none of our damn business.
Whatever it is, I am glad for you. Enjoy it. You know…today wasn’t too bad for me, either. Maybe I’ll have steak and mushrooms for dinner… It’s certainly time for a beer!

May good things continue to accrue to you and your family.

Well thanks Anthony for sharing as much as you could, both today and earlier. Whatever it is, I know it will reflect your staunch humanity that has not just sat up night and day with the work here, but has led both the attack and the defence with unmatched fidelity, courtesy, good science, and good humour.
Heh – perhaps Phil Jones has ‘fessed privately to you that you have been right all along but he’s not yet ready to come clean to everyone. Perhaps you’ve had a windfall that now enables you to employ a secretary… or two… and a researcher… or two. Whatever. Blue Sky.
