Mark my words: If they succeed in passing this Waxman-Markey madness, it will add 10 years onto the time necessary to salavge the Economy.
I believe the 20 million jobs estimated that it will cost us is a conservative figure.
The Great Depression had it’s Dust Bowl, we are now staring at a Cold Bowl.
Only this time, we are not the America of the 30’s able to rely upon our own means. That America was pawned off.
Don’t let them do it to us again.

Since it was the EPA that forced the use of catalyctic converters on cars, and since those catalyctic converters were made to produce “harmless” CO2, and since CO2 is now designated as a pollutant by the very same EPA, shouldn’t the EPA order the immediate disuse of all catalyctic converters on cars? Doesn’t it go against all logic that the EPA would continue to allow a now “known pollutant” to be produced and emitted, even though that production was a result of their own previous orders?

I just clicked on the live feed. Nothing is on. And just when I had a taste for politics at 1:52am. Good thing clocks get turned back 1 hour ten minutes from now. I’ll get an additional hour of unsatisfied hunger for politics.

Cap and trade is just the final nail driven into the coffin of the former United States of America. Most of the politicians and the Federal Reserve Bankers of the past century should be up on charges of treason or at least be charged with violating the Logan Act. http://law.jrank.org/pages/8357/Logan-Act.html
We Americans have one or two weapons left. Vote in a third party who will wipe out the idiotic laws that have been passed and nullify bad treaties. Even a state has the ability to nullify a treaty.
“ A treaty can be nullified by a statute passed by the U.S. Congress (or by a sovereign State or States if Congress refuses to do so), when the State deems a treaty the performance of a treaty is self-destructive. The law of self-preservation overrules the law of obligation in others… “This [Supreme] Court has regularly and uniformly recognized the supremacy of the Constitution over a treaty.” – Reid v. Covert, October 1956, 354 U.S. 1, at pg 17. .http://www.sweetliberty.org/issues/staterights/treaties.htm
For those who have not looked at the wider picture, the following explains exactly how bad off the USA is and the actions that killed our country. Other countries have been the victims of the banking/corporate cartels too.
“I am amazed that the US government, in the midst of the worst financial crises ever, is content for short-selling to drive down the asset prices that the government is trying to support….The bald fact is that the combination of ignorance, negligence, and ideology that permitted the crisis to happen still prevails and is blocking any remedy. Either the people in power in Washington and the financial community are total dimwits or they are manipulating an opportunity to redistribute wealth from taxpayers, equity owners and pension funds to the financial sector.” Paul Craig Roberts was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury http://www.countercurrents.org/roberts250209.htm
Stewart Dougherty, a specialist in inferential analysis, agrees. It is now “statistically impossible for the United States to pay its obligations”. http://www.silverbearcafe.com/private/08.09/metastasis.html
And here is an explanation how the Fed controls boom and bust cycles to their benefit: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=222963174&blogId=294391093
America has been quietly sold off piece by piece. This shows the industries with over 50% foreign ownership http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Foreign_ownership_of_U.S._corporations
A real eye opener isn’t it. But it gets worse. The Department of Homeland Security says 80% of our ports are operated by Foreigners and they are buying and running US bridges and toll roads. http://www.alabamaeagle.org/issues.asp?action=form&formID=2105&recordID=131006
Statistics showed in 1990, before WTO was ratified, Foreign ownership of U.S. assets amounted to 33% of U.S. GDP. By 2002 this had increased to over 70% of U.S. GDP. http://www.fame.org/HTM/greg%20Pickup%201%2010%2003%20report.htm
We can trace the demise of the USA as well as other countries directly to the doors of the central banks.
What is the Federal Reserve and What is its Purpose?
“Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are United States Government institutions. They are not Government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign customers; foreign and domestic speculators and swindlers and rich and predatory money lenders.”…
“Mr. Chairman, when the Federal reserve act was passed the people of the United States did not perceive that a world system was being set up… that this country was to supply financial power to an international superstate–a superstate controlled by International bankers and international industrialists acting together to enslave the world for their own pleasure.” — Louis McFadden, chairman of the House Banking and Currency Committee June 10, 1932

The financial instability of the US dollar and the US economy has not gone unnoticed over seas
The global creditors for the US Treasury Bonds are so angry at the past suffered losses, the prospect of deep future losses, and the corruption laced throughout the US financial system, that they have hired third parties to kill off the US$-gold platforms, http://socioecohistory.wordpress.com/2009/05/29/comex-gold-price-manipulation-stress-near-breaking-point/
“The Germans have demanded that gold bullion held in US custodial accounts be returned to their owners, with physical gold shipped back to Germany… In all likelihood, neither US nor London sources are in possession of all the gold held.. So an uproar could come soon with charges of gold bullion theft” http://news.goldseek.com/GoldenJackass/1243519200.php
“Hong Kong is pulling all its physical gold holdings from depositories in London, transferring them to a high-security depository newly built at the city’s airport, in a move that won praise from local traders Thursday.” http://www.marketwatch.com/story/hong-kong-recalls-gold-reserves-from-london-2009-09-03

A former respected member of international banking, John Perkins, said in “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” and interviews, that the American banks and IMF had the IMF lend bankrupting countries the money (US and EU taxes) to pay off the American bank loans.
The IMF/World Bank loans come with strings called Structural Adjustment Policies “Although SAPs are designed for individual countries but have common guiding principles and features which include export-led growth; privatisation and liberalisation… SAPs often result in deep cuts in programmes like education, health and social care… By devaluing the currency and simultaneously removing price controls, the immediate effect of a SAP is.. that riots are a frequent result.” http://www.whirledbank.org/development/sap.html
The last nail is the complete take over of the world food supply by the food cartel: Cargill, Louis Dreyfus , Bunge and Born, André, (all privately owned) Nestlé, Unilever, Philip Morris. ConAgra, and ADM/Töpfer They already control over 80% of the world food supply but they want complete control. http://www.publiceyeonscience.ch/images/the_wto_and_the_politics_of_gmo.doc
Today in the USA nearly ¾ of all farm sales are from Corporate farms. 75% of the small farmers in Mexico are gone, 60% in Portugal and farmers are suiciding every 8 hours in India. http://agrariancrisis.wordpress.com/2008/09/12/manufacturing-food-crisis/
All of this was planned decades ago. A history and the final bill now in Congress are outlined in the article at http://www.opednews.com/articles/History-HACCP-and-the-Foo-by-Nicole-Johnson-090906-229.html
The fight against the regulation of small farmers/home gardeners has been a real eye opener. Seems the Activist groups like Organic Consumers and Food and Water Watch have ties to the Rockefeller foundations. Also Maude Barlow a “no dog in this fight” Canadian, is a director of both Organic Consumers Assoc and Food & Water Watch. Barlow has been handsomely rewarded for selling the US consumer out with an appointment as New Senior Advisor to the UN president on October 21, 2008.
Maurice Strong and the United Nations came up with the brilliant idea of using NGOs to control political activists. NGOs are funded by the likes of the Rockefellers and offer non-voting memberships. Leadership is well trained to herd the activists in the direction the UN/Bankers?corporate Cartel actually wants using the “Delphi technique”
In one radical manual, Educating for the New World Order, the author stresses the need to achieve the appearance of group or community participation in decision making processes, giving the illusion of “consensus” while in reality there is a predetermined conclusion toward which the facilitator guides the group. This tactic is known as the “Delphi technique”. This manipulation allows the leader – ostensibly a neutral voice – to telescope conflicting ideas into a limited time frame for discussion and leave the room with a “consensus” that the leader takes back to the main committee as an agreement among the parties.
All the while Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Idaho, Montana, Utah, New Mexico, North and South Dakota, and Kansas—and moving east— have been getting dumped on by snow–IN OCTOBER!
