The Polar Bear dropping into the water is not necessarily fatal. Polar Bears are buoyant. One recently was reported to have swam across 200 miles of open water from Greenland to Iceland, where the bear was considered a danger to the populace and shot.

Am I so twisted that I made myself believe that I saw another post here named “Flat Ice Core CO2-graph During 1000 Years?” The one with the Hans Errens illustration where CO2 concentration would folow temperature evolution and not otherway around like the whole antropomorphic warming clerus wants us to believe ?
If I am not that wrong, and that item is removed then there must be a reason ? May I guess that someone put also the UAH data and the Mauna Loa data together and did not manage to obtain the same results ? Actually I did and I did not found any month to month relationship between monthly CO2 increase and monthly temperature anomalies. Also by having the CO2 running fore or behind the temperatures (by up to 1 year) there was no correlation !
I think the end of the video is missing — the part where a penguin in a leather jacket performs a waterski jump over a hungry shark.
The economy should lower the CO2 output, people will be jobless and Gore can be happy! Crisis is an opportunity for change!
I call BS since there ARE environmental advocates, crazies to be sure, that advocate doing to us what the Nazi’s did to numerous groups during their reign. Furthermore, labeling this hit piece as such is intended to PREVENT something like what the Nazi’s did from occuring again.

Well I watched it without sound, I suspect that’s a good thing. Absolutely embarassing. Maybe they are feeling suicidal because yet another expected environmental catastrophe is turning out to be trivial. They needn’t worry they can go protest at the local nuclear power plant.

NASA’s next mission to pinpoint and observe CO2 emissions and sinks. As the BBC reports it, they [NASA] are quite open in admitting that they don’t know where 90% of manmade CO2 emissions come from.
Maybe it doesn’t belong to man…
They also suggest indirectly that deforrestation could cause problems for CO2 sinks to remain effective. To me, that is a real environmental problem and surely the true cause of CO2 level rises (in my own opinion – not peer reviewed!!)

It was very well done, very good computer animation, but sort of like Leonardo da Vinci doing Mona Lisa on black velvet with a matador in the background. Amazing to think there must be an audience out there who will shed a tear for the poor animal suicides and be motivated to do more to save the planet by it. Insensitive clod that I am, it just cracked me up.

The AGW balloon is about to burst. Remember the Hindenberg? Will you still be hanging on when it happens? My reading has brought me to the conclusion that some of your fellow passengers have left the ship already.
This is an interesting take on the ’cause’ of the Little Ice Age. A bit OT, but what the heck. Seems it was caused by a virus, that killed a lot of people, that didn’t keep the trees cut, that sucked up all the CO2. Forget about sunspots and the like.

Surely, it can’t be hard to show how anti-development attitudes will cause millions of people around the world to continue to live in abject poverty instead of getting access to medicine, food, etc?
Or to show the millions of Africans that needlessly died of malaria because of the ban on DDT? A video comparing a white famly’s enjoyment of a songbird in its backyard while a small African boy died in squalor might hit home.
Obviously the original computer model of happy smiling wildlife cavorting in a stable verdant environment was run through the standard AGW input “adjustment” process and this is the result.

I like this publicity more than the one on top of this thread, but of course I do not like that CO2 is being portraited as a vilain pollutant or “the” cause of global warming. How rare is such an event at any time of year, let alone in the first half of December? So rare that, according to an article in the local Daily Rag, McCarren Airport has no snow removal equipment and no de-iceing capability. And Clark County deploys a fleet of two snow plows and two graders.
I wonder if they take over/under bets on snow accumulation.
The headlines in the LV newpaper this morning (delivered two hours late) placed the odds at 1000-1 against accumulating snow on the strip and 50000-1 against building a snowman there.
