Climategate protester pwn3d CBC on live TV

How interesting that it has now risen to this level. Climategate? Quel Climategate?

This is a Radio Canada (RDI) reporter doing a live standup on CBC. That’s always a tough gig, I’ve done hundreds and you never know what the public around you is going to do.

Once I had to shove a person out of the shot who was grabbing for the microphone.

This of course is mild by comparison, but funny nonetheless.

Looking at King Cnut’s failed attempt at solar, and lunar control (or mitigation). It failed. Thank goodness.

As a resident of Canuckistan that is the FIRST coverage (to use the term loosely) I have seen on CBC, pathetic. It’s time to cut off the 1+ billion subsidy those turkeys get from the taxpayer!

I decided to add my 2c on my never visited blog.
http://blog.stoic-epicurean.com/index.php?blog=6&p=62&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
Summary: Hiding methods and data is from the Dark Ages, regardless of reasoning. Since this is occuring, we can safely say we’ve been thrown into another dark age of sorts. When politics exerts influence in science, this happens.
Oh, also, if the situation were altered just slightly, say the IPCC were instead an international asteroid-hunting agency… would the refusal of data demonstrating an incoming asteroid be tolerated? Would the attack-by-obfuscation of skeptical points of views be accepted? Not on your life.
But of course, it’s somehow perfectly acceptable when major media organizations choose not to cover scandals in political arenas that are demanding billions of our dollars.

The free internet is exposing these BIAS news media outlet. Nobody agrees except the media and their masters Wall st and Goldman Sacks who just want to cash in with this mega tax.

So I’m sittin’ here tryin’ to eat my samwich when the screen refreshes and the Google Ad comes up under this story – “What Is Global Warming? Is It All A Hoax? Find out at National Geographic…”
Oh man I almost choked! I had to pick up all that samwich and put it back in my mouth. Yeah, what could be a more credible source for any expose’ on climate fraud than the fine upstanding unbiased folks at Nat Geo!

This is great! I’ve been tempted to ask directly of the CBC why they won’t report on a huge story. Except I know the answer, dosn’t fit in with their vision. Anna marie Tremont lit into Lawrence Solomon for having non-CBC views.
Jeez, I’m paying for this??!!!

Hooray for “Joe Public”!
….as an aside, I frequent the CBC website and am riotously entertained on an almost daily basis by not only the scare-mongering journalism but also by many of the posters. I honestly believed that this country had a fairly decent education system.
Thanks Joe Public, Anthony, moderators, and those who believe in science.

I am concerned that this thing will be deliberately stepped over by the MSM and the politicians. They have too much invested in keeping the farce going – political careers, journalists’ reputations. Countless billions were already spent on on this scam – that means countless billions extracted from taxpayers’ pockets. My feeling is that they will ram new carbon taxes and draconian measures down our throats, regardless of devastation of economies. People who make decisions like these are usually well insulated from the consequences.
I am in Canada (green-socialist heaven) – not one major MSM outlet has reported extensively on this story, which is shaping up to be the biggest con in history – politically, financially and ideologically. Over the past several days, I personally sent links to several MSM outlets news’-tips emails, suggesting they research and report on this. Nothing – zero reponse or action. Sheople are going about their Christmas shopping, unaware/ignorant of what’s happening around them.

It’s funny to see that people think mainstream reporting of “CRUgate” by CTV & CBC would be good for nonalarmist forces in Canada (at this time). The nonalarmist, minority-government Conservatives do not necessarily want issues in the news that might erode public opposition to a unified left (particularly at this time, considering other items in Canadian political news at this time). Overly-simplistic linear-thinking is the answer neither in climate science nor in politics. Trenberth cautioned of a backlash; no doubt, PM Harper also instinctively recognized the paradox in the context of the bigger picture. It appears his divided opponents have yet again miscalculated. The exceptional regional variations in Canada make federal politics here counterintuitive to many.
