I was trying to think of some comment along the lines of can we have our colonies back, but as any parent knows you have to let your children make their own choices and mistakes as they grow up. Happy 250th anniversary of the approval of the Declaration of Independence Day, 4/7/1776-4/7/2026.

Although it’s been a continual struggle to keep it all together (and still is), the USA can still invoke “I Did It My Way” as its claim to fame.

On the 200th anniversary, I was a 26 year old guy driving around to see the great National Parks in the West. Now I’m a 76 year old geezer looking at the parks on YouTube.
