This is a war between those who believe in evolution and those who think the biosphere would be stagnant if humans weren’t here. We are not pollution, we are the result of evolution, and we cause the rest of the planet to evolve, as well.
It is also a quasi-religious teleological (I don’t mean theological) belief that before industrialization the biosphere in terms of the atmosphere temperature precipitation as well as many other ecological conditions were optimal – the way they were meant to be – rather than purely arbitrary.
That any superimposed human influence must be intrinsically, by its very nature, harmful.

We are Animals…Natural Beings…evolved in and by Nature with a symbiotic relationship to the Vegetable portion of the planet. (And the remainder of the Animal portion as well)
