As “climate change” is removed from the national threat assessment, a Bloomberg opinion piece provides a great list of all the winning Team Trump has had over the past 52 days.
Posted by Leslie Eastman
In a move that makes anyone familiar with the real climate science [thrilled? sic], climate change has been left out of the US intelligence community’s annual assessment of threats to this country.
It’s the first time this has happened in over a decade.
Maine’s supposedly independent Sen. Angus King grilled Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard in a recent US Senate earing over the readjustment in security priorities with all the pomp and arrogance of New England pseudo-nobility.
Every single one of these reports that we have had has mentioned global climate change as a significant national security threat except this one. Has something happened? Has global climate change been solved? Why is that not in this report, and who made the decision that it should not be in the report, when it’s been in every one of the 11 prior reports?”
Gabbard response was to slap-back, indicating there were other more urgent priorities for her agency to address.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard told members of the Senate Intelligence Committee Tuesday that for the intelligence community to be aware of the environment that they’re operating on “is a given” and that the report was “focused very directly on the threats that we deem most critical to the United States and our national security.”
“What I focused this annual threat assessment on, and the [intelligence community] focused this threat assessment on, are the most extreme and critical direct threats to our national security,” she explained, responding to pressing questions from Democratic Maine Sen. Angus King.
Gabbard said she did not recall instructing the intelligence community to avoid mentioning climate change in the 31-page report.
Gabbard was outstanding in expressing the proper national security priorities, which do not include worry about a few extra molecules of a life-essential gas. The Earth’s climate in in a constant state of change, and I will also note that we are at a temperature low point when you consider the last 485 million years of planetary history.
Therefore, I am much more worried about terrorists, cyber-threats, unrestrained illegal immigration, and Chinese military capabilities than I am about a potential degree change in a global temperature measurement that is essentially meaningless.
It turns out the only thing in danger of melting down in the current environment are leftists. Perhaps the most spectacularly histrionic response came via a Bloomberg opinion piece, which summarized 52 glorious days of President Donald Trump’s orders redirecting where this nation’s resources, monies, and energies should be spent.
Every agency with any connection to the climate (meaning basically all of them) has been involved, from the Environmental Protection Agency to the Defense Department. International cooperation by NASA scientists, UN diplomats and more has been forbidden, and Trump appointees are meddling in state and local efforts to manage their own environments.
Elon Musk’s crew, intent on dismantling the apparatus of government, has frozen research and funding and put vital expertise on the street.
Trump claims his climate demolition will benefit the country. He and his mouthpieces have argued that ignoring climate will lower energy costs for consumers, help the economy and secure “energy dominance” for the US.
The authors decry the effort as demolishing years of great work in days. My reply:
Truly, 2025 was a “joy” election.
Hot Air’s Beege Welborne has a great assessment of the 52-days of policy success Trump 2.0 has had, as meticulously charted out in a manner that backfires on what the authors (Mark Gongloff and Elaine He) intended to achieve.
They literally have created a chart that tells you what number day of Trump’s administration he did what to what, which took away what, and affecting what, with multiple entries for some days.
Here are a couple of lines:
16 NOAA Nominee to lead the agency was Trump’s “Sharpiegate” enabler Catastrophes 17 State Rescinded $4 billion in pledges to the UN Green Climate Fund International cooperation 52 days of this.
I’ve written a ton about the climate industry churning through tax dollars over the past few years, no more so than the rush to get as much out the door as possible in the remaining months before Trump came in.
That these hardcore advocates are melting down only two months into this administration is telling both how effective the Trump efforts have been and how deep the rot went.
I must admit, I am shocked so much has been accomplished in 52 days. I can’t wait to see where we are at 100!

I just asked Answer Provided by http://www.iAsk.ai – Ask AI.
What is BomWatch.com.au?

Notice how Greenland is sitting prominently in the top center of the picture of Trump with Earth in the background (hint, hint).
Canada too.
What is interesting is the left who think that Trump is just random and chaotic.
Look at the executive orders list now running to 181 in 52 days
https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/
This is the number of executive orders for previous presidents
https://usafacts.org/articles/how-many-executive-orders-has-each-president-signed/
So in this term President Trump has already signed more orders than Biden did in his whole term.
There is nothing random or chaotic about what is being done
Then you are willfully blind. TDS…in reverse.
Every EO that Trump has signed has been for the betterment of USA people and society.
Seems you still have some leftist TDS left in you. !
Plus they were signed with a leftist, woke, Biden-clique autopen, which renders them legally invalid.
Try signing a house deed with an autopen in the presence of a Notary Public, or any lawyer.
Bloomberg Financial Services has been lying for decades, with help of the government-subsidized Corporate Media foghorn, to befuddle/misinform the gullible public about the economic wonders of the heavily subsidized, expensive, weather-dependent wind and solar and battery systems that benefit the tax shelters of its moneyed-elite clients, at the expense of all others
CO2 is not an evil gas. IT IS AN ESSENTIAL LIFE GAS to increase growth of flora and fauna, and increase crop yields to feed 8 billion people.
WE NEED MORE CO2 ppm in the atmosphere
Trump actually signs all EOs
TDS runs both ways. I just spot the anomalies. Now, one can just say that Trumps actions and statements are all part of an eleborate plan but that would be a personal inference not backed by evidence. And that’s fine and it’s equally ok for me to say: no. But please dont put me in a camp. Because that would be another binary choice. I see and hear and judge accordingly.
As i said: TDS runs both ways. Im not picking a team nor am i part of any TDS. Never have, never will. I simply recoqnise the traps..
Here’s the elaborate plan, in case you missed it over the last 8 years:
Make America great again.
And here are the details, which Trump posted on his campaign website over the last couple of years for everyone to peruse:
Platform overview
Detailed platform
Platform details explained in videos
Unlike the mumbling Joe Biden, the cackling, slippery Kamala Harris whose only reasonably coherent campaign message seemed to be “abortions for everyone” and “orange man bad,” the rest of the Democrats and leftists (but I repeat myself) who waffled and dissembled about what they planned to do, Trump unabashedly told us exactly what he was going to do in great detail. The voters liked it and elected him, and Trump is now keeping his promises. So weird and chaotic.
More and more “journalists” and Democrats (I repeat myself) have been coming clean recently about how they had noticed how much Biden had declined, but universally they decided to say nothing, in order to protect the party.
ballynally, here’s what I think you’re missing. Trump got four years off to plan all of this with the help of a lot of competent people, so the plan is going into effect rapidly. On top of that, he’s having a laugh at them by trolling them or, and I assume you know the phrase, taking the piss out of the democrats. Every day is Trump’s own Babylon Bee day, so not surprising they don’t like it.
Look at what the dorks have to do in response – they have to make up even more crap about invading Mexico and Greenland and text messages from their plant on the Signal chat. You could say it’s unbecoming of a President to have so much fun, but they made him do it with their lawfare, which is now also biting them in the ass.
“But please dont put me in a camp.”
You are the one camping deep in TDS territory.
First quoting me and then doing exactly what i objected against.
Nice one..
But hey, i have followed you for a while and you have a bulldog mentality. So, go for it!!😄
If anyone reads the observations & admissions of Trump’s modus operandi in “The Art Of The Deal” book, they’d realise that Trump is not unpredictable at all.
He has a set-piece approach to all interactions – they’re all transactional to him.
He puts up “ambit claim” propositions (just as union officials do), then gets into the arm-wrestling over who concedes what.
He will concede points, as long as he concludes that overall, he can claim that he won.
And he’s not afraid of what anyone might think or say if he walks away from the table.
So appealing to “public opinion” or “international reputation” cuts nothing with Trump.
(which is why he has nothing but disdain for globalist glory-seekers like Trudeau)
Come on… sure, not every. What does renaming the Gulf do for the betterment of USA people and society?
It’s a name, they get changed all the time countries, places and geographical features and rarely is betterment involved. Take the renaming of the country Turkey to Türkiye what betterment was involved?
A person who examines a topic in great detail cannot be “willfully blind.”
I would suggest that ballynally produced his derogatory response without much thought or perhaps from being ignorant of its meaning in the first place.
Sorry, but you can be deliberately and willfully blind. It is called ‘cognitive dissonance’ in psychology.
Look it up..
You didn’t mention “deliberately” in your initial response and didn’t provide any evidence of such in any case.
“A person who examines a topic in great detail cannot be “willfully blind.”
Insert a list of names here from ‘the other side’.
Nothing random about erasing the Biden stain. That administration left a sea of damage in its wake. Cleaning it up is a definite Superfund project.
Nice try but nobody is listening to you people anymore. Enjoy irrelevancy.
‘You people’. Are you building a consensus? And if so, am i on a team of some sort? An enemy team, perhaps?
Sorry, i don’t need votes. And you are just as irrelevant as anyone on this platform..
Wow, look at all the negatives. I must be over the target! A bit like the Co2= evil crowd.
Nope.. you are missing the side of the barn completely. !
Trumps actions are been and gone before you even fire off your blanks.
And all signed by hand, I wonder if Biden’s autopen was “lefthanded” 🤪😆 (sarc alarm)
After this amount of time one has to assume we’ll never know who was running the show. Reminds me of a George Carlin rant about “us” not knowing who “them” are.
The ghost writer for the last admin’s tell all will have no one to interview, nothing to write.
Seeing people NOT remotely bothered after each Biden “gaffe”, each one more damning than the previous one, was EVERYTHING there was to know about these people who call “the deep state” a “conspiracy theory”:
they KNOW there is a “deep state”, they BELIEVE it’s running the show and they LOVE it.
One must consider that EO’s are an old-fashioned “diktat” issued by someone using the powers of a “dictator”, and are the dictator’s opinion of failures of, in the case of the U.S., it’s elected representatives. If every new “diktat-er” undoes the previous guy’s diktats, democracy is no longer the norm in a country. EO’s have become far too common, Trump, Biden, Obama, together issued hundreds of them, delving into issues better served by their departments, but were issued to enhance their media image as “do-ers” rather than perform their intended role of being the last person anyone should ask to decide anything after everyone else up the chain has tried to do their job. But with instant access media of today, it seems like the presidential office feels a tweet needs to be issued every time a dog catcher picks up someone’s poodle and someone puts the violent confrontation on UGTube and notices the dog-catcher had a MAGA hat.
DMacKenzie, your assessment suggests that our elected Representatives and Senators have been making laws that the President must implement. That should be the case but it is far to often not. For decades, Congress and the sitting President have authorized organizations within the Government to make, implement and enforce whatever they direct without Congress-made laws or oversight by the Executive as the Constitution requires. Much of our Government is not operating within constitutional requirements because of vague delegation of executive responsibility to such groups and in some instances delegated to private organizations. One example is USAID, an organization supposedly subject to State Department supervision which for years refused to yield to State requirements. This matter is being resolved by President Trump. Border security is another example. President Biden said during his term that he could do nothing without changes to the laws so he did nothing, Even worse, he aided illegals to enter the country. Trump is securing the borders within the existing laws and did so during his first term as well. There two extant immigration issues that I see at this time, 1) the processes by which illegals are to be deported which is presently before the courts and 2) whether States or local governments can refuse to cooperate with and even block Federal law enforcement. President Trump’s EOs address these issues. All in all, the President is trying to make the Government conform to the Constitution’s requirements. And, as I am sure you know, tweets (or is it Xs) from the Executive are not EOs.
Response might parallel Denis’: Presidents using EOs in place of laws is an indicator that congress has not been doing its job.
I blame FD Roosevelt. Ever since he overstepped the line a US President should stop at presidents have used it to mark their territory. It got way worse under Biden and Trump has put it in high gear. Little Napoleon wants to crown himself Emperor. Mark my words: it is all going to end up in tears. Just a matter of time. I pray it won’t be a war that turns this leaky vessel.
‘Make America Great Again’. The slogan of EVERY presidential candidate. What do they all promise? That’s right: CHANGE! Oh the irony!!
CatastrophicWondrous Anthropogenic Global Warming! No evidence that “Anthropogenic Global Warming” even exists. !
Lots of anthropogenic urban warming of course, but that is not “global” in any sense.
Although i support Trump on DOGE, woke and pulling back on Green madness i am not fully on ‘Team Trump’.
People make the mistake of getting all binary on him, either FOR or AGAINST. He is currently getting huge criticism not only from diehard MAGA but fr basically all the smart people who are against the warmongers. To think Trump is some kind of genius strategists who considers all in- and outputs there is too much conflicting evidence to warrant such a stance. And the constant every day messaging and attention seeking plus the idiot appointments like Waltz and Hegsetz clearly indicates his advantages on domestic issues are drowned out by his impulsive foreign ‘policy’ in which he always puts himself in the centre. ‘Look at me’. And if he doesnt get his way he lets everybody see his frustration which the media takes on to which he then reacts with
taking back some of the things he said previously. Like, ALL THE TIME.
No folks, this is not genius strategy but impulsive behaviour from a self centred person who thinks he can outsmart everyone just by his own will. And when he doesnt get his way he tries to bully and force others to come around. But bullies deflate when confronted w hard objects and real resistance. Like w the Russians and the Chinese. It doesnt work but Trump is too stupid to realise.
I gave Trump the benefit of the doubt but his recent behaviour towards Yemen, Israel, and Iran are extremely worrying and worse than under Biden.
But maybe americans and anti Green Agenda people are blind on non domestic issues.
Go, Team Trump!?
No, give us all a break! (not forthcoming).
Dear ballynally,
It is a pity then (or not), that America is virtually bankrupt, Like Australia, woke, broke, internally fractured and financially on its knees.
There is a bigger picture. Having Canada and Mexico putting enormous social and economic strains on the US over the last four years and into the future, and they expecting no fiscal response; and for a US citizen to support that, is amazing to me.
I also cannot possibly support the killing machines and finger-pointing that are Ukraine and Palestine. Trump is right, the killing has to stop.
Virtually a whole generation of young men lost at a scale that makes Vietnam seem like a walk in the park (but of course I know it wasn’t – while I was not called up, I had friends that were there too.)
Indebted to China, Australia is in dire trouble too. I hope Trump succeeds, and in the process kicks the rocking chairs out from under Australia’s WEAK and corrupt leaders, and their pull-along leftie toys.
If Trump with his team of young Secretaries, advisors and clever people like Musk, can dismember the WEF’s Great Reset by re-ordering world trade, in my opinion we will all be better off.
Cheers,
Bill
Correction:
and for a US citizen NOT to support that, is amazing to me
Correction v.2
… and for a US citizen NOT to support that, is amazing to me
What I mean is: why aren’t Americans on-board with cutting billions of dollars of waste, reducing debit, settling conflicts and drawing industries back to home soil?
Cutting climate-crap is an added benefit that entwines with everything else. Ask the poms. Hard to believe but they are in a worse state than Canada.
In the long-term, laggards that they are, Trump pulling the plug on Canada can only benefit Canada. Likewise for Mexico and Australia.
To save them and us from eternal servitude, they have to pull their fingers out.
For example, any US goods sold in Australia face a checkout tax of 10%. Crappy, free-trade inferior stuff from China sold by Bunnings, faces in addition a dumping fee at the local tip.
Like Canada, New Zealand and the UK, Australia’s defense services are in disarray. Furthermore, we can’t do anything (harbours, transport, airports, freeways metros, urban development, electricity supply chains, tourism …) without China’s John Holland being the lead or co-agency.
Subservient to the CCP and WEF Australians don’t build things or make things anymore (trams, trains, ships ..). Then at all levels, there is red-tape, green-tap, black-tape and often government sponsored lawfare..
Made in Australia is a joke – a woke yoke around the necks of at east two captive, debit-ridden future generations.
With strong leadership lacking in the Pacific, only America can win this war.
Cheer up,
Bill
I agree with you in general Bill. It is fantastic that Trump has taken the wind out of the sails of the Climate crisis mob who were fleecing us blind and still are in Australia. however, I don’t like his mateship with Putin or has bullying of Ukraine and Denmark. He can bully the EU as they really deserve it, on economics, defense and climate/energy policies, and they will finally have to pay their way in relation to NATO and Europe which is Trump’s real goal- I hope!
Regarding Australia’s climate/ energy issues, the sooner the EU starts to pull back their stupid Net Zero goals in response to the US agenda and general common sense knowing they cannot bankrupt themselves over this tedious CO2 is dangerous crap agenda, the sooner the Aussie governments will wake up to their idiocy on climate and pull back from the brink of the current economic disaster facing us.
Bill your holding a candle to the BoM’s antics of manipulating our climate record to suit the AGW agenda of the bureaucracy and academia is laudable. Tony Abbott was too weak to get a Royal commission up on them and the CSIRO but a new Dutton government might be persuaded to do so if the world in general drops the Net Zero nonsense and gets back to reliable baseload energy for all. In Australia we don’t need nuclear yet, whilst we have plenty of cheap coal and gas, we just need new investment in proven HELE technology.
“I also cannot possibly support the killing machines and finger-pointing that are Ukraine and Palestine. Trump is right, the killing has to stop.
Virtually a whole generation of young men lost at a scale that makes Vietnam seem like a walk in the park (but of course I know it wasn’t – while I was not called up, I had friends that were there too.)”.
Indeed. But there are legit reasons to believe that Trump is not actually doing that. Not on Ukraine and certainly not in Palestine. In the last few days Trump has come out even more beligerent than Biden, seems eager to go to war w Iran. Every day it becomes more clear he is NOT a peacemaker. He is losing support on his geopolitical ambitions. The Canada and Greenland things are sideshows. He is bound to Israel as Biden was bound to Ukraine ( as the recent NYT article clearly shows). He could stop the war in Ukraine by withdrawing all support for the Zelensky clan. But no, he wants to be the dealmaker and his picture in the news. He is also extremely self centred and pathological.
Again, TDS runs both ways. I will have none of it..
Ballynally, one can always stop wars by not fighting them. We stopped the war in Afghanistan by withdrawing, killing 13 of our guys as the end, and look what happened; the Taliban continued killing all they didn’t like. Congress stopped the war in Vietnam by prohibiting Nixon from fighting it and the North took over killing all they didn’t like. And on it goes.
It is the business of people of Afghanistan who kills who in Afghanistan. What does US have to do with it?
Until US pulled out of Vietnam, US and South killed all over whoever they did not like. What is the difference?
Well, at least, after US pulled out of Vietnam, the killing has stopped, and not at all because the North has killed everybody.
If you think the killing stopped when the US left Vietnam, you either weren’t alive at the time, or have never studied actual history.
The situation got so bad, that several million fled the country in rickety boats, with hundreds of thousands dying.
Not to mention what happened to Cambodia. Khmer Rouge. The only ones left standing after the US bombing..
Really is fascinating how naive you are. You actually believe that the world was perfect and that all problems were the result of US intervention.
Your hatred of the US is causing to see what you have been trained to see.
Wrong inference. Im not naive. Au contraire. Just not blinded by american propaganda going back decades.
We europeans used to make fun of americans who only spoke of ‘russian propaganda’. It was clear they were completely unaware of their own homegrown variety.
It takes stepping out to watch the structure from the outside. You need distance to judge properly.
The US and its citizens usually stop caring about a country after its no longer an issue. Going in, doing damage, pulling out. Byebye…next!
Ah yes, the US as the benevolent defender of Democracy.
Wake up and stop listening to propaganda. But by the looks of it you are beyond repair..
If there is anyone here who has been blinded by ideology, it’s you.
Eisenhower’s complex might require a target to periodically clear inventory.
Israel.. Trump very much aligned., wants to help destroy Hamas terrorists… This is good.
Yemen.. bomb the crap out of the Houthis pirates/terrorists who are disrupting trade and attacking commercial ships… This is good.
Iran.. wants to stop the mad mullahs from getting nuclear weapons.. This is also good.
So where is the problem ?
You seem to be an MSNBC apostle… watch “The View” much ?. !
Such solutions work well in Hollywood movies. In real life he needs to isolate HAMAS politically and cut their finances, and have the vast majority of Arabs reject the goal of destruction of Israel. When Arabs are ready for piece, HAMAS will have no support.
Killing only perpetuates the problem.
Same as above. And even worse, USA will lose this war, just like in Afghanistan.
The mullahs are no more mad than Israel, Pakistan or India who have nukes in the region, not to forget the elephant in the room – constant nuclear presence of USA. The mullahs, just like China and North Korea know that nukes provide real sovereignty.
Such solutions also work well in the real world, and has been quite effective for thousands of years.
You got me all wrong and you lack both historical insight and understanding. You also insist on putting me in a camp.
The View? Don’t be absurd.
But it’s probably understandable as you don’t seem to grasp that there is more than a binary choice. So, criticising Trump= (must be) leftish anti Trump dumbo. Like criticising Israel= antisemite. See where this is going?
Now show me how smart you are..!
Btw, i am dutch so maybe you can use that angle and say something superficial about say ‘lunatic european liberals’.
Go on then!
“plus the idiot appointments like Waltz and Hegsetz”
You obviously know nothing about these men. I assume you got your information from the biased, leftwing media.
“I gave Trump the benefit of the doubt but his recent behaviour towards Yemen, Israel, and Iran are extremely worrying and worse than under Biden.”
I think Trump’s behavior towards all of them is completely predictable. A lot of Isolationist Republicans and the Democrats make Trump out to be some kind of pacifist (wishful thinking on their part, imo), but if Trump needs to use military action, he has never hesitated in the past, and he’s going to do the same thing in the present. Remember what Trump did to the Islamic Terror Army that was rampaging across the Middle East? Obama and Biden just allowed them to rampage, displacing millions of innocent people, many of whom headed to Europe, while Obama and Biden sat idly by. Trump came into office and wiped out the Islamic Terror Army in a matter of weeks, headed by General “Razin” Cain. Obama and Biden could have done the same thing but they didn’t have the will. Trump had the will. Trump still has the will.
Trump is going to hit the Houthis until they stop firing on ships and disrupting shipping, it’s up to the Houthis as to how long that takes, and Trump is not going to allow the Mad Mullahs of Iran to acquire nuclear weapons even if that requires military action on the part of the United States.
And I don’t know why you are complaining about Trump’s treatment of Israel. What? Is Trump giving Israel too much support? Is that your complaint?
Israel’s military has practically neutered Iran and its terrorist allies. Me and Trump like that. Do you?
I don’t like the killing. Trump seems to have no problem with it. Build condos on Palestine and f the people.
Trump is worse than double U..worse than Biden.
Peacemaker..? Me arse.
I guess you support violence no matter what the consequences.
Nice one..!
Is US now F everyone?
Blessed are the peacemakers. You can scrap Trump off that list. The only reason Trump has gone off Ukraine because he does not like losing, not because he is concerned about people dying. Clearly. No doubt..
I think Trump’s desire to be remembered as peacemaker is genuine. What he really thinks about people dying, only he knows. I suspect he is cynical about it.
If he thinks killing is in the interest of the USA, he will not hesitate.
In his first term he made some effort to make peace between Israel and Saudis.
The prospect of such piece provoked HAMAS attack, trying to derail it.
So, it took Hamas years after the Abraham Accords were signed to react?
Hamas is kind of slow on the uptake, aren’t they.
Or maybe the reason for the Oct. 7 attacks were not predicated on the Abraham Accords. Maybe they were predicated because a weak, pro-Iranian U.S. presidient was in office at the time.
U n h i n g e d.
Wow I have never seen someone as blinded by ideology as you are.
I see them every day. It is derangement as everyone who says they know exactly what Trump has done or will do in the future and thinks it their duty to warn others has never met the man.
They also are not psychic, so they can only believe what they hear.
That leaves derangement about Trump as the only alternative. But they obviously like deranged people because they also elected Biden.
Or..TDS ( in reverse) has blinded pro Trumpers to anything that might conflict with their hero worship. By pointing out the anomalies you become an enemy, a ‘leftist’, and ‘ideologue’ or whatever label can be attached. It’s cultist behaviour as witnessed on this subject on this platform. As cultist as the Climate Alarmists. Distinctions are waylaid, raise the flag, start marching and shooting.
Captain America to the rescue.
Pathetic idiocy!!
People here have called me ‘leftist’ and now ‘blinded by ideology’.
I would like to see evidence that substantiate the accusation.
Good luck!
Oh, btw, go through my many posts on this forum and try to find anything that underpins it.
As i said before: TDS in reverse..
Oh, you think Trump can just wave a magic wand and everyone will fall in line?
Rather naive, I would say.
No, Trump does
Well said
Lol!
He said a bunch of nothing.
King ….. “Has global climate change been solved?”
Yes, if we’re using the stupid fossil fuel definition of climate change. It’s now known to be irrelevant to any global climate parameter, and it’s certainly irrelevant to the military, who have to deal with real weather issues.
The question Democrat Angus King should be asking is” Has global climate change been proven to exist?
Where’s your evidence, Mr. King? The truth is you don’t have any proof that humans are causing the climate to change in any way, shape or form. You have nothing. You are either a foolish man, or a scam artist. My personal opinion is you are a foolish, deluded man. About politics and about climate change.
Independent, my hindquarters! Anybody who votes with the radical Democrats all the time is a radical Democrat. You even lie about your political affiliation.
Record snow in the US this Winter, and Northern Hemisphere snow levels off the chart. Never been so high since records began. It’s getting colder.
Links? Charts? Stats?
NH Snow mass
Cannot someone in authority, preferably Mr. Trump, point out, in no uncertain terms and with scientific proof, that CO2 is not only not dangerous but is essential to life and more of it is not a problem.
Thousands of reputable scientists have done so but the MSM won’t publish their work. If Mr. Trump says it then maybe, just maybe, the MSM might report what he said.
Then the ball would really be on the slates as they say in Glasgow.
The moniker Trump Derangement Syndrome has been talked about in these pages. And a similar syndrome exists for Elon Musk.
But the real problem is CO2 Derangement Syndrome in these climate matters.
This is triggered as a reflex action whenever any adverse weather event is mentioned in our media. Sad, but true.
He had many years to do this on Twitter, first term and in between. Maybe somebody will tell him.
Have they entered ‘targeted energy weapons’ onto the threat assessment list? You know, places like Hawai’i and LA?
Have they entered ‘remotely triggered earthquakes using military weapons’ onto the threat assessment list? You know, things like the San Andreas Fault??
Have they entered ‘atmospheric heavy metal contamination’ on to the threat assessment? You know: spraying the atmosphere with all those things that are well known to be poisons to human beings when ingested via the food supply?
All kinds of real threats masquerading as ‘climate change’ which are in fact weaponry targeting the US citizenry and for which various US agencies, including military ones, may reasonably be held to account.
I rarely regret putting people into moderation.
Well, it’s April 1 after all.
Targeted energy weapons? You mean like lasers? There have been experimental units with enough power to kill people and bring down planes and missiles. None have reached the point where they are battlefield deployable. The ones that can kill people can kill one at a time, and take minutes to recharge.
The ones that can take down missiles take up to an hour to recharge. Neither is a major threat at present.
If you have actual evidence that humans know how to trigger earthquakes, much less have the tools to do so, I would like to see it.
Atmospheric heavy metal contamination? Just what kind of illegal substances have you been imbibing in?
I wonder how long it will be until rtj1212 has to sent to moderation?
You forgot to add evil foe plans to trigger Yellowstone eruption to your list of movie script ideas.
Somehow I suspect a /sarc is missing.
The next war will be fought with pea shooters and spring-launched gliders. Marines will storm the beaches using rowboats carried to battle on sailboats. All of this crafted from sustainable lumber by master craftsmen/women using hand tools.
Hard to believe that a Senator from frigid Maine would worry about climate change. And he should have little to fear from a slowly rising sea-since most of the coast of Maine is cliffs and rocks. And if the sea on its coast become slightly warmer- the sooner the better since it’s almost ice cold in the middle of summer.
It’s interesting how all the socialists in congress, caucus with the Democrats.
Yes, its also interesting that they label themselves as independents. They haven’t had an independent thought in their lives.
Every change has winners AND losers. Maine seems like it would be slightly on the winning side of the modeled change.
All the extra CO2 is making a green state, even greener.
I could not agree more to see the climate change nonsense removed from our national security priorities. How much has been spent the last 25 years on this and this “investment” has not moved the needle one bit. During COVID lockdowns no reduction as I think they, the climate change fanatics, globalists and the WEF thought was possible and to prove their point (net zero). Our country faces graver challenges than to get side tracked on this foolhardy endeavor. Financial collapse is not far off and yet these political dimwits want to focus on climate change. DOGE has proven these people are not serious people and quite lacking. The waste, fraud and abuse is utterly appalling. Good riddance to the climate change waste, fraud and abuse.
I just read an article from Rolling Stone lamenting Trump’s recent actions. It contained this great specimen of irony : “Climate experts say any effort to present climate change as a good thing is dangerous and runs afoul of science. It’s been known for decades that climate change will have catastrophic impacts on human life if the world doesn’t move quickly to end its use of fossil fuels.” That begs the question: How many decades does it take before “moving quickly” is no longer important?
Yup. Anyone remember W’s post-9-11 national level of threat color code system? There’s a limit to how long a roofing contractor in Iowa can worry about jets and glass buildings in coastal metropolises. Climate change has possibly become threat level ‘transparent’.
Strange that they would disbelieve Rolling Stone and start the protest to burn and vandalize electric vehicles isn’t it?
Anyone who thinks climate change (whatever the cause) is a risk to national security, are not playing with a full set of cards.
It is good to see sense and rational policies being brought back into government policy making.
Millions of migrants with unknown agendas from unknown backgrounds crossing the southern border of the USA in the past 4 years, that was a direct risk to national security.
Relying on unfriendly regimes for essential energy needs because the governor of the state has closed down previously profitable and reliable energy production, that is a threat to national security.
Closing down strategic manufacturing plants and relying on foreign governments for essential high grade components needed to maintain the aero industry. That is a risk to national security.
The list goes on, climate change was never ever realistically any where near it was never a threat or anywhere near a security risk..
It’s not enough. Drill baby drill and get the rest.
Trump is breaking the global warming rice bowl. Money is what they are ALL ABOUT. There is not now nor ever was a ‘climate threat’ based on hydrocarbon consumption. Climate is just a never-ending ‘threat’, perfect for never-ending funding.
“a recent US Senate earing”
Was there only one earing?
Fear not America! For salvation is at hand! We British are going to save the world single-handed by giving up heating our homes, driving cars, flying abroad and using electrical power on windless days.
You forgot stopping exhaling CO2.
The US government was an absolute disgrace, I support what Trump and DOGE are doing even if I don’t always understand it.
I support eliminating waste, fraud and abuse instead of talking about it.
Who was wasting the governments time just talking endlessly in the Senate this week?
This action finally reflects what not only Americans but also many inhabitants of this entire planet have been expressing for years now. In survey after international survey, some conducted by the UN, climate change and the environment issues and actions have ranked at or near the bottom of the lists of top priorities among respondents. Costs of living, housing availability, job prospects, healthcare, personal safety, national security education opportunities, etc. have consistently been ranked well ahead of climate issues in virtually every country surveyed. Only the leftist alarmists keep trying to make a big issue out of it as they see their governments cutting off their taxpayer-funded subsidies to combat a non-issue. The US is leading the way by removing the bogus climate crisis from its priority list because most people globally never considered it to be one of theirs from the outset. .
“cyber-threats”
Among which, intel agencies and dubious findings about attacks like TV5 Monde which I believe was NOT attacked but used to promote cybersecurity and bill millions for stuff for people who couldn’t even be bothered to set-up a firewall.
“Leftists Melt Down”
Seems to be a regular occurrence.
Activists, not advocates.
