The White House’s climate team reportedly made a crucial decision regarding a major natural gas project after meeting with a 25-year-old social media influencer, according to The New York Times.
Before deciding to delay approval of the Calcasieu Pass 2 (CP2), key climate advisers and decision-makers in the White House reportedly met with Alex Haraus, a 25-year-old TikTok influencer from Colorado who has organized an online campaign demanding that the administration kill the project, according to the NYT. The White House is expected to formally announce on Friday that it is delaying its review of CP2, a development which could be the administration’s first step toward killing the project and putting numerous other LNG terminal proposals in jeopardy as well.
Climate activists “absolutely will reward or punish him on this decision,” Haraus told the NYT, referencing President Joe Biden and the upcoming presidential election. (RELATED: Biden Admin Got Handful Of Undergrads To Write Its Report On Chinese Communist Threat)
The White House also rewarded Climate Defiance, a disruptive climate activist group that has targeted administration officials and elected Democrats with their protests, a meeting with senior advisor to the President John Podesta in December 2023. At the meeting, Climate Defiance apparently lobbied Podesta directly to kill CP2.
Biden is under pressure from the environmentalist left to kill CP2 and other LNG terminals, especially after the administration green lit ConocoPhillips’ massive Willow Project in Alaska last year over vehement opposition of eco-activists. The decision on CP2 could have major ramifications for the upcoming presidential election, as Haraus alluded to the NYT, since young voters and the environmentalist lobby are poised to be key constituencies for Biden in the 2024 race.
The natural gas industry ripped the White House’s choice to delay its decision on CP2, writing in a Wednesday letter to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm that an about-face on allowing proposed LNG export terminals would “hamper U.S. energy leadership and jeopardize American jobs” while “[undermining] global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.”
The final decision on CP2 and other LNG export terminals may have serious geopolitical ramifications, too. U.S. LNG exports to Europe have increased substantially since Russia invaded Ukraine, and America’s allies on the continent will need continued access to American LNG to meet demand as they wean off Russian supply, the natural gas trade groups wrote in their letter to Granholm.
The White House did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

Fortunately, we have the opportunity in November to trade him in for a used, but proven, more reliable model.

Fox News just showed a clip of Biden talking to a supporter back in 2019 and saying :”look in my eyes, I guarantee you we are going to end fossil fuels!”
So the Biden administration didn’t decide to do this because they talked to a few activists in the last few weeks. They talked to the activists to publicize their actions to the activist community.

The question is: How much more damage can he do in 11 months?
The governors of 25 States are pushing back against Biden’s insane immigration policies. They are asserting “States Right’s!”.
When an overbearing dictator in Washington DC starts harming the individual States, the individual States have the Constitutional Right to oppose the destructive policies of the dictator.
That is what is happening here, and I consider it a gamechanging event. It’s one thing for the Governor of Texas to fight back. It’s another thing when all the Republican governors join in the fight. The U.S. Supreme Court should think long and carefully before they continue to enable the Biden administration destruction at the U.S. Borders.
And if the Biden administration continues trying to kill the oil and gas industry and harming individual States in the process, then I think eventually pushback is coming in a similar fashion.
But, if Trump gets elected as president, then we won’t have to worry about all this confrontation because there won’t be any confrontations.
Republicans have a chance to pick up 6 or 7 Senate seats, AND also with Romney the Rino leaving adding another conservative voice. TRUMP! could get McConnell gone and push legislation that could markedly change the US government, including eliminating the Department of Education, EPA and IRS and FBI, etc. A national sales tax (look up the Fair Tax) would make every illegal and drug dealer pay taxes on money spent and get the US government out of everyone’s personal business, thus making the citizens of the country more FREE.
Make any federal funds for education to be directed EQUALLY to every proven American citizen child. No extra money for expensive teacher’s union states of cities.
Eliminate birthright citizenship.
Fully repeal the voting rights act.
Repeal every law that expends funds for get out the vote since ALL those funds are spent in cities.
Mandate election day for federal offices to be ONE 24 hour period, starting at 07:00 on the east coast and ending 24 hours later, all localities to be required to stay open for the full 24 hours so no results can be posted until ALL polls are closed. And any mail in ballots not RECEUVED in any district at the close of the election shall not be valid, except for those cast by overseas active military in an active combat zone.
Mandate valid ID be required to vote in any federal election, and that any mailed in ballot must include a thumbprint on the ballot and the envelope containing the ballot, and must be maintained for 4 years from the date of the vote. Thumbprint validation MUST BE PERFORMED before the envelope is opened. This of course means that anyone wanting to vote by mail would need to provide ID and a thumb print before receiving a mail in ballot.
Of course, before the IRS is liquidated and ALL records deleted, release to a House committee the records of every elected Democrat at every level of government in the US and all territories for “purposes of writing legislation”, the reason congress was allowed to get TRUMP!’s returns by a federal judge, then release them all as searchable public records as they did with TRUMP!’s tax returns. Have you all noticed that NO ONE has found any problems with TRUMP!’s tax returns??
As to the Fair Tax, make it so the the “prebate” can only go to verified US citizens, no “legal” or illegal aliens allowed.

If Mr. Biden considers new, young voters an important constituency – and indeed they are – he is being misled if he believes Mr. Haraus represents them in any significant way. In general, they are too smart to be suckered by Mr. Haraus.
It is worth studying Mr. Haraus’s videos to learn how to pass on misinformation and logical fallacies in an interesting, fast-paced, and flashy way. He’s quite slick. I expect him to make a nice living in politics, though I would encourage him to seek an honest career instead.

The Biden junta is the worst executive in the history of the country, and this is just the latest chapter. I wonder what the Germans will say when the junta here informs them that, no, we won’t have enough LNG to sell to them because the imbeciles in D.C. care more about what a 25-year-old CCP spy app star says than anyone with a brain.
Look around the Western World. This is, bar none, the very worst crop of heads of state and governments ever to have been assembled. They have all outsourced their constituencies. No one really voted for what they got out them. You could be excused for thinking that it is a Covid side effect or a side effect of frankensteinian vaccines. They are all in lock-step on a road to hell. We’ve thrown away and lost in opportunity costs 10 to 20 $trillion for net devastation in exchange. They haven’t discovered it yet, but perhaps worst of all the dollar is essentially toast.
In the UK we’ve had a series of Prime Ministers who weren’t party leader at the election. They are May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak. Two did win subsequent elections but all have been a disaster.

The usual question to ask in these circumstances is “qui bono?” Yes, the US might have done it to increase their LNG exports but, equally, it was to the benefit of the Russians to do it because it put pressure on their European customers not to oppose them. Or, as has been claimed, it was the Ukranians in order to encourage the EU (Germany, in particular) to help them. Take your pick!
I’m guessing that Germans were hoping to purchase some of that liquefied natural gas, maybe they’ll just have to close a couple more factories instead.

Tonight on Fox, Jessy Wattters suggested the move was to punish Texas for not taking down the razor wire along the boarder. I think it’s believable because he had a prosecutor in Ukraine fired for digging too deep into Burisma who was paying Hunter Biden. Using “young voters” and “undergraduate students” to determine ANY policy is a serious mistake. They simply haven’t had the life experiences to know what to think about serious policy positions. I called myself ‘liberal’ when in college, but only because it seemed like the coolest thing to be. I was too busy studying and working to pay the bills it took to go to college, then to spend any time thinking about what ‘liberal’ even meant. I flipped to conservative in an instant – the day I got my first full-time paycheck. I thought I was about to become rich, instead I found I could hardly pay the coming bills. The government took away the ‘rich’ part of the paycheck, and there was no obvious benefit that I could see from losing so much of it. Most every life experience I’ve had since then have only reinforced that belief.
Infants are running the daycare. Joe has gone for a nap. Elites are fiddling by the growing fire, and voters with a clue are about to start a revolution. Viva la resistance.
