Well, those 75 thousand people should make a pledge that they will not use fossil fuels anymore. They should practice what they preach.

Demonstrating takes little effort to attend or organize. Recently in Manitoba, a criminal confessed to putting 2 bodies in a dumpster. Hundreds, maybe a couple of thousand showed up to protest the city’s refusal to search the landfill for remains (it’s months after the fact and the word of a criminal isn’t known for reliability)….so far the list of those who would volunteer to go and search the dump for an expected 3 month period is very short….it’s just so easy to use social media to start an “event” that prior to the internet, nobody would have been able to afford the postage stamps for invitations….

They were protesting the fact that Marie-Josée Kravis, wife of Henry Kravis, is board chair of MoMA. Kravis is a figure in private equity firm KKR, an investor in fossil fuel pipeline projects.

Let’s prove it can be done. Set up a city, even a fairly small one, running 100% on “renewables”, no electricity importing, just your own “renewable” generation and backups. I’m not even asking for them to give up all the other benefits of oil – just power generation.

All of these demonstrators are absolute hypocrites. The signs they are holding were made in print shops using fossil fuels. The road to the demonstration site on transportation that uses actual fuel. The clothing and shoes they are wearing were made, and delivered by vehicles using fossil fuel. If these people wanted to be true to their ideals, they would be nude and on foot all the time.
The left wants martial law, so that they can force those unbelievers to comply.
The left is so convinced of their infallibility that they believe that everyone will love the world they are going to create. All they have to do is to get rid of everyone who doesn’t fit into their new world.
