The National Association of Evangelicals has admitted it is difficult to convince their members to take climate change seriously.

US evangelical group releases climate change report, urges a Biblical mandate for action

The National Association of Evangelicals unveiled a sweeping report on Monday on global climate change, laying out what its authors call the “Biblical basis” for environmental activism to help spur fellow evangelicals to address the planetary environmental crisis.

“Creation, although groaning under the fall, is still intended to bless us. However, for too many in this world, the beach isn’t about sunscreen and bodysurfing but is a daily reminder of rising tides and failed fishing,” reads the introduction of the report, penned by NAE President Walter Kim.

“Instead of a gulp of fresh air from a lush forest, too many children take a deep breath only to gasp with the toxic air that has irritated their lungs.”

But the authors admit persuading evangelicals is no small task, considering the religious group has historically been one of the demographics most resistant to action on the issue.

The most striking aspect of most of these efforts to persuade Evangelical Christians, even this national association push, is how patronising they are. The Evangelical Christians I know are reluctant to accept the climate alarmist message, because they are still waiting for alarmists to present evidence there is a problem.

Sounds more like ecumenism than evangelism. A further ‘gift’ from the Second Vatican Council, the Conciliar Church and the still vacant Holy See. The Oval Office is SEDEVACANT. The VP Oral Orifice is not SEDEVACANT.

vacant in the sense of vacuous

This is obvious when the Oval Office goes off script
and from the VP in her word salads

This is why it is impossible to convince either of the folly of their climate policies.
Sadly the above report does not recognize that it is not any climate changes
that present a threat to the livelihood and welfare of people but insane energy policies
and ludicrous idea that we can engineer ideal climates for every part of our world.

Over the last few weeks Biden has been consistent in his message that those who voted for Trump are “semi-nazis” and a danger to democracy.

It’s gone from deplorables to semi-nazis in just 6 years. How long till they start demanding re-education camps for anyone who registers Republican?

I think they already are.

First, I am an Evangelical Christian (if you are unclear what that means, it may require some careful examination in today’s world of word salad and redefinitions), a follower of Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. From that Biblical world view, I offer a contrast to this NAE “sweeping report.” I would direct your attention to the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation.

There you won’t see blind fanaticism, but Biblically-based and scientifically sound apologetics. “Stewardship” rather than ‘sustainability” is spoken, as well as great emphasis on protecting the poor among us and around the world from the ravages of environmentalist and energy totalitarianism.

The organization has in the past taken NAE to task for their climate stance, which was largely driven from within by certain climate activists (e.g., Richard Cizik). As with the Catholic Church and many science, engineering and business institutions and societies, activists on a mission have infiltrated and often had their way. In all cases, allowing this to happen diminishes the organizations’ credibility and authority to speak on various topics.

Here is a concise statement that exposes the major flaw in the above statement:

It doesnt help their cause that climate alarmism is most strongly associated with deep-green policies that are based on hatred of mankind and worship of nature.

Haggai 2
17 I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the Lord.

So God sends these weather disasters to show us we need to turn to him and trust him and repent from sin.
And these disasters will get worse as mankind get more away from God.
