Greta Thunberg the teenage Climate Puppet has gone full Marxist.
In her latest public statement, she says that the ‘climate crisis is not just about the environment’:
It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all.

To anyone familiar with the workings of the green movement, Greta’s statement will come as no surprise whatsoever.
That’s why I called my book on the subject Watermelons.
Environmentalists are often green on the outside, red on the inside. Their movement is essentially a global socialistic redistribution exercise hiding behind a mask of green righteousness.
Meanwhile, the consequences of little Greta’s hissy fits are being felt across Europe and hitting ordinary people hard.
In Germany the car industry is ailing badly:
Daimler, the German company that makes Mercedes-Benz cars, will slash at least 10,000 jobs worldwide in a major cost-cutting drive to help finance the switch to electric cars.
“The total number worldwide will be in the five-digits,” said personnel chief Wilfried Porth. More than 1,000 managers stand to lose their jobs.

Production this year is down by 14 per cent on the same period in 2018. The only month to rise was August, when output was artificially raised because many plants were shut in the same month a year earlier.

Germany’s electricity prices have rocketed to their highest ever:

While wholesale electricity prices in Germany have increased by about 13 percent in 2019, taxes and levies on electricity have reached their highest level ever and will cost German families and consumers a staggering 44 billion euros in 2020.
And yet again the latest UN Climate Summit – COP25 – which Greta Thunberg is attending is destined to be a damp squib, with lots of scaremongering talk and little concerted action.
Any carbon dioxide emissions cuts it agrees on will be more than offset by the growth of Chinese industry.

If this was your child would you parade her around the globe, fill her head with nonsense and/or your own failures and put her on the world stage when the outcome is going to disappoint her? What parent would do that? This is going to end with disappointment for Greta, a girl that has been programed her whole life to believe that the world is coming to an end if we don’t pursue some climate/social madness which we all know is not going to happen.
She’s 15 years old, she’s been programed they same way cultists are and she desperately needs someone to step in and bring some sanity back into her life. Greta’s 15 minutes are almost up, and she doesn’t even know it. Shame on her parents and the evil souls that have done this to her.
Anyone familiar with the practices of psychiatry, psychology, or social work who looked at that description stripped of identity would immediately start thinking of teen suicide risk. Who would her parents, handlers, and Rebellion blame for such a tragedy Jim ? And, what extremism would follow ?

Thomas Sowell calls this the vision of the anointed. Self-righteous catastrophe forecasting always leads to the need for the select few to centrally plan life for the rest. I’ve seen this pattern again and again, and the logical conclusion to this thinking is justifying population control, who lives and dies, who is in the elite political class and who are the poor bums at the bottom of the Marxist pyramid.

Think I heard on the official German propaganda and entertainment program “breakfast TV” on Sat1, that Greta is going to meet with actor/singer Udo Lindenberg. This tells me that neither Udo, nor Greta knows that Climate Change is not really about the weather, but rather a global totalitarian way de-populate, de-industrialize and tame the average.
Udo Lindenberg grew up in DDR (Deutch Democratic Republic) which was the same sort of republic the CAGW believers want the whole world to endure now. In Udo’s own words: “I was the official enemy of the East German state,” says German rock legend Udo Lindenberg.
With his own strange humor, Udo is singing and speaking of the tyranny in the former DDR. But now he claims he would live to go ice-skating with Greta Thunberg – very strange indeed.

The renewable surcharge actually dropped slightly in 2018 and most of German electricity costs are nothing to do with renewables.

Germany is beaten by Denmark in retail electricity cost, they also have more wind turbines per capita.
Compare that to Sweden with relative few wind turbines per capita, which is a blessing for the Swedes, although electricity prices have increased significantly because they were obligated to moderate their prices for the sake of interchange to the wind sucking Danes and Germans.

Putting aside her intentions, I see no good in Greta’s efforts. My children do not have irrational fears about the future because I taught them values that inoculate them against such things. Clearly Greta’s parents have not done the same for her, and for that I pity her. But this in no way validates anything she says, and her feelings on the subject are irrelevant. So spare us your righteous indignation.

If her parents and handlers are (or have recently become) Marxists, they just might just indoctrinate her in Marxism themselves, assuming they understand it properly. She is of course at that age where she is easily influenced and indoctrinated by the adults around her and is likely of the mindset now where she would embrace Marxism. What would likely be missing from her indoctrination (if it happens) is the history of oppression, mass murder, and war which occurred in the name of Marxism in the last century.
At any rate, it is becoming increasing obvious that the climate alarmist narrative has become a front or pretext for the spread and promotion of Marxism today. Marxists must be delighted that it came along and gave them this opportunity. Buts seeing today’s young people becoming its target is frightfully disturbing.

Private citizen: I will suggest to you that whatever money the natural gas and nuclear industries may be sending to the CAGW scare movement is just a sideshow. Those industries would probably like to see coal go away much the same as the climate scare and enviro movements do. It is what they have in common.
The main event is still the demonization of the free market economy and the fossil fuels that power it. That is why the climate scare narrative fits in so nicely with the Marxist-socialist movement. There is a reason why environmental and climate activists are called “watermelons.” Think about that.
