Eric Worrall writes: The imminent climate summit in New York is rapidly turning into an utter embarrassment for President Obama and UN Secretary General Bank Ki-Moon, in addition to becoming a bit of a punishment round for national deputy leaders.
Aussie PM Tony Abbott today defended his decision not to hop on an earlier flight to America, so he could attend the UN climate conference in New York, because he has more important matters to attend to, such as running the country.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have also indicated they likely won’t attend the summit.

It almost seems that someone who uses drudgereport as a headline aggregator, or filter, if you will is not entitled to have an opinion on subjects dealing with science in your opinion. One wonders if you would aloow them to vote, however if I may, while I am not involved in science of global warming as I am not a climatologist one needs to realize that that subject is being debated in a political arena, not a sientific one.
I have worked at, for over thorty years, and retired from The Los Alamos National Laboratory and while my fields were engineering and health physics I know enough, even as a drudge user, to have a valid opinion on the subject.
It is clear that global, warming as caused by human activity is a sham and has always been one.
It is purely a political construct to allow a small group of elitists to control the activities of the many, who they feel are entirely inferior to themselves. Power and money, money and power, it always comes down to that and that, my friend is a shame and a sham.
