While Dr. Roy Spencer reports on a number of politically incorrect cartoons about Earth Day, saying,
“I mostly find Earth Day just plain annoying for the rank hypocrisy on display. A state-sponsored religious day of worship, along with all of the 1st Amendment-violating regulations to codify it. “
In response, the president has weighed in with a short speech.

If it is a climate speech, you will have to include the white handkerchief to wipe away the sweat.

Lenin’s Birthday,not Stain’s, and Easter was Hitler’s Birthday.
Tom,
Easter is a movable feast, thus it was only that year (and possibly others) for Hitler.
If only the President’s actual speeches could dry our hands after washing. At least then they would be good for something!
Yeah, sorry, Lenin’s birthday, sorry for the mix up. The message however remains.
In the mean time, this should be the real news:

I agree with the hot air metaphor, but our President sprinkles all his speeches with platitudes, misdirection, half truths and outright lies. Hand driers at least do what they claim they will do, although in an unsatisfactory, slow and noisy manner. I would vote for the hand drier over Obama any day.
Just heard this morning…the Lake Superior ski resort, Lutsen, is staying open (weekends) until May 4th. 120″ of snow this year.
Got to love that GW in MN!
I am disappointed that a great scientific site has to resort to toilet humor…
@HenryP I’m disappointed that you try to push religion with your climate views.
If only anything he did was as useful as that dryer or even a broken dryer.
“Glo-buhll — War-ming……. Glo-buhll — War–ming….”
After hearing it and hearing it and HEARING IT (for, like over TWENTY-FIVE YEARS, NOW!!!)
THIS is how that phrase now sounds to the average American:
“Di–a– rrhe–a….. Di — a — rrhe — a”
LOL. The world is SO done with you Algore.

huhhh?
say what?
I said what? Where?
I am not sure what you are referring to
but if I had said (somewhere) that climate was part of the design by the Creator, yes, then I plead guilty. It is, whether you believe it or not. If you are referring to a private e-mail, of mine,
then I was merely trying to make you understand your own subtitle, (of the name of this website)
which clearly leaves openings to scientific subjects other than climate.
Did you actually watch the video that I asked you check?

Yes, pretty much near 100% of all CAGW believers are hypocrites. And they show up here at WUWT on a regular basis.
Frank K. “Yes, pretty much near 100% of all CAGW believers are hypocrites.”
No doubt you were not completely serious about the “100%” and would admit that some significant percentage, reacting to what “the scientists” say without having much wherewithal to question “the science,” are sincere.
But I’ll take this opportunity to observe that despite my experience with the news media regarding things of which I’m intimately familiar I still find myself from time to time accepting uncritically what I read in the paper. People who don’t have that experience (which many of us lacked well into adulthood), people who are not familiar with scientists, and people who haven’t had much experience with the output of scientific journals are all particularly vulnerable to the kind of indoctrination abroad these days. Indeed, my guess is that even most scientists actually base their beliefs in this area only on what other scientists say. Add to that the fact that this is not a subject most people are likely to spend much time on, and it’s actually rather remarkable that skepticism has gotten as far as it has.
Yes, one suspects considerable hypocrisy among many if not most of the more-vocal catastrophic-anthropogenic-global-warming proponents, but to me it would hardly be surprising to find that most rank-and-file believers are sincere.

You and my religion is true, and she will be very visible in full light of.

thanks
don’t worry
we will plough and plant seeds and one day we will watch the harvests

Did you ever read my final report on this?

I do believe this is the first ‘speech’ from Our Dear Leader that contained no factual distortions. In addition, for Our Dear Leader to use his PetalipPrompter, he had to extend his hands forward….which meant, for that short duration, they were not in our pockets!
For that, I am thankful….
Wouldn’t it be more efficient to hang the it on a stall wall so it goes where it belongs that much sooner?
When one watches some tired hack on the platform….one often has a curious feeling that one is not watching a live human being but some kind of dummy…..The appropriate noises are coming out of his larynx, but his brain is not involved……..If the speech he is making is one that he is accustomed to make over and over again, he may be almost unconscious of what he is saying…..
Political language…..is designed to make lies sound truthful…….and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.
George Orwell: Politics and the English Language
“…he may be almost unconscious of what he is saying… .” (mfo 3:13)
Puppets usually are.
@mfo — (forgot to add this): GREAT Orwell quote. Perfect.
