Paul writes on his webpage:
The East Anglian Daily Times have published a special supplement this week on climate change, and I have managed to persuade them to include my article, presenting a slightly less alarmist point of view.
I would imagine the folks at UEA’s Climate Research unit are “having a cow” about right now. See the article:

Great News Huh?
Right there in East Anglia. I bet that paper is the one that has all the local photos of the high school teams, police logs, that sort of thing. So it is the one that is in everybody’s home in East Anglia, including the homes of the Über Reichstag Global Warming N…ooops ummm….chief alarmists and propagandists and leftists and people who use jack-booted bully tactics and physical treats to demean those who dissent,. I’m sure there is one word that sums all that up.
Maybe some of their offspring will paste the article on the wall or hang it on the fridge.
Paul Home wood…. we have the same chair. 🙂

Says what exactly?
Anthony,
Along the lines of acknowledging those who are are doing a great job of getting the true message out, you should be aware that a division of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) have picked up on WUWT posting by you and many others on your site and have included them in their regular News letter, which can be accessed at the URL below. With no credit to the messenger, I started sending some of WUWT posts to an ASME environmental committee chairman, who has inserted many of WWT posts in their Newsletter that gets circulated to many Engineers worldwide.
Congratulations for a great scientific product.

ASME is also soliciting feedback on how it should interact with the US Government in regards to it’s goals and is conducting a survey, see below.
I believe it is important to reset the button on the relationship of Professional societies with the Government and this is an opportunity to ASME members as well as others.
One can decide what the priorities of ASME should be and vote accordingly. This is a rare opportunity to be heard.
You do not have to be a member of ASME to vote.

This article is followed by another in which John Grant asserts the same old man-made global warming claptrap the climate hysterics have been screaming about for decades. He goes further, with a statement from Asher Minns of the Tyndall Center denying (now there’s a word) that global warming stopped nearly 20 years ago. “It could be that the heat is being redistributed in the oceans.” Evidence for this? It always comes back to the same old (failed) computer models.
You can tell him what you think about his assertions here: john.grant@archant.co.uk

Found a site showing pictures of the CRU paying Paul a visit:
Max,
Those long URLs can be tamed. Like so (I hope I get this right.):

Found the text at last.
Nice article. Cool, calm, collected and informative. Well done. Would be nice to see the responses and letters to this article.
I am in the middle of a battle with the BBC about their reporting of the Philippines cyclone. We have gone through three BBC departments already, and still no viable answer as yet. I will post to WUWT if anyone is interested, when I get a resolution.
.
And to all WUWTers – please do the same. It really shakes these people up, to get hundreds of complaints. In addition, many of these people really do not know the facts, because they have taken the Green lies and propaganda hook, line and sinker.
The BBC said that everyone knows that tropical cyclones are getting worse and more frequent. The Sunday Times said that everyone knows that electric vehicles have no emissions. They are truly shocked when you show them the real facts: their world is shattered and their self-confidence plummets when they are forced to publish retractions.
Imagine all that, times one hundred, or times one thousand. So get writing folks. Posts on WUWT are talking to the converted. Go out there and give your local paper hell. Give the national television hell. Give your parliamentarian hell. Write, write, and write again.
I have six outstanding letters i am chasing, just this month.

I take my hat off to you, Mr. Homewood. Maybe the observed facts will one day drive countries to do the right thing, in spite of the hysteria now. It can be very discouraging, but it’s nice to see someone that never gives up.
It hasn’t been peer reviewed.Blah, blah.
Thanks for the effort Paul, I have used your figures of previous floods in SE England already against a CAGW weather madam here, who visited the floods in SE England including all the whining about CO2 and global (non-)warming…
Facts like these will convince most non-brainwashed people…

Paul Homewood, expect vicious attacks on your character. They will attack the man and not the ball.
Ahh!! The soothing “Pop-pop-pop” of heads exploding in East Anglia.
Sent in my letter:
To the editor,
Congratulation on having the integrity to include an alternate viewpoint to human-caused catastrophic climate change in your recent environmental supplement. I read the entire thing, and it was noticeable how many of the alarmist articles could present only forecasts, the output from computer models (which, contrary to what some would have us believe, are not data), and generally unsupported assertions about Things To Come.
Mr. Homewood’s article, however, used real observational data from the Met, along with historical facts, to make his case. He demonstrated convincingly that while the Earth has warmed up a bit since the 1800s, the weather has not become more severe — indeed, there’s no real evidence that CO2 has caused any of the warming at all. It’s just that the climate models are programmed to not show any warming unless the CO2 factor is included — while at the same time being completely unable to model water vapor and cloud formation in those models.
In the present, the alarmist camp is so disturbed by the lack of any real warming in the past decade and a half that they are reduced to making remarks like “The heat is hiding in the deep oceans,” as though it could somehow get there without warming anything else on the way. There’s a word for such hand-waving behavior, but that word is not “science.”
Regards,
Thank you, Paul. EXCELLENT “No news is good news!” article!
Would the CRU/UEA care to dispute any of Mr Homewoods findings? If they can’t, would they care to endorse them?
Unfortunately resolutionj was too poor to read the article.
I’ve wondered for some time Paul.
Did you formerly post as Southend Paul?
DaveE.
New York Times ran an article saying the California Drought is NOT linked to GW.
Baby steps…baby steps forward.
Andy Baines (March 9, 2014 at 9:26 am) “Hi great blog. Would you mind visiting my blog I have a post at the minute about global warming which I could do with a comment on”
No need for anyone to comment there since it is obvious you need to do a lot more reading here before writing anything more about “global warming” on your blog. There are plenty of well considered opinions here on every side of every aspect of “global warming”. You need to pick one aspect and one side and write about it.
WAY TO GO, PAUL HOMEWOOD!
Congratulations on the recognition which you so eminently deserve and which is LONG OVERDUE.
A fan,
Janice
