Apologies for the lack of cartoons this month but I have been snowed under (!) with the day job. Even sadder when the Climate Blogosphere has had so much hilarious material on offer. This cartoon was inspired by Steve McIntyre’s posts on the Marcottian redating of cores. How do they get away with this stuff?

PS: An alternative caption, suitable for a billboard, is: “Here’s the REAL hockey stick.”

Sorry, Gary–NOBODY sees the missing heat discontinuity. It’s hard to draw what isn’t there. But we’ll all keep it in mind.
PPS: Here’s a better caption for a billboard or coffee mug or T-shirt:
“Here’s the LATEST hockey stick.”
That is indubitably true, and so it gives the other side no comeback. What’s “real” (most relevant) is arguable.
Rogerknightssays, limp hockey stick etc.
The sad thing is that whole limp thinking attitude is starting to get into everything, from no more “honors night ” for top students, to no more “best friend” because it might hurt someones feelings and the new curriculum for our kids it frankly scares the heck out of me , where the hell are we going to end up if it was not for sites like this!
Re: rogerknights “Latest Hockey stick”
Upward sloping shaft, flat head.
“Tiljander wasn’t the only thing Michael Mann got wrong end up.”
Hokey = Noticeably contrived; artificial.
Just that Warmists can’t spell
What about a first victim club replete with logo printed T-shirts and coffee mugs?

The founding member and President by unanimous agreement being Truth, but are there anymore nominations to serve on the Committee?
Like. Very much. Still chuckling.
Hey Josh, last week I sent Anthony a good climate change joke I made up. It would lend itself to a 4 frame cartoon nicely – you are welcome if you want to use it.
the weather in Ireland has been so cold we got snow the last two years that lasted for 4 to 5 weeks we never get snow that lasts more than 5/6 days tops????????
