From Tom Nelson: Keystone pipeline passes environmental review: It’s the [CO2-induced] end of the world as the Sierra Club knows it, and I feel fine
The State Department released a draft environmental impact assessment of the controversial Keystone XL pipeline Friday afternoon, suggesting the project would have little impact on climate change.

Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune just released the following reaction in a press release just sent out:
“The Sierra Club is outraged by the State Department’s deeply flawed analysis today and what can only be interpreted as lip service to one of the greatest threats to our children’s future: climate disruption…”

I think that LOLing is considered to be a bit last year, or maybe even last decade, but I laughed so loud when I read that.
Have the Sierra Club Clowns and Frauds not figured out that it’s they and their ilk that are the greatest threats to our children’s future?
Of course they have, but they’ll keep on cashing the checks until the system breaks.

A generation of lunatics who simultaneously are spending their children’s money before they even make it, while at the same time ensuring that they won’t be able to make very much of it. How is that doing anything for the children?
Oh wait….Sierra Club, Gore, Mann, Hansen….etc… are all making rather large sums of money. What they mean is do it for their children. Yours they don’t much care about.
I expect there’s more outwage in the pwipeline. There’ll be apopwexy too.
Maybe the Sierra Club will become Obama’s Tar Baby.

So, this Sierra Club, they believe all the CO2 in this oil would be better released, and the energy applied, by other countries. Based on what? And what makes them believe we are not in danger from cooling?

It’s interesting that John Kerry’s first major speech as SOS was about global warming.
However his actions would seem to not match his words.
Am wondering what he and Lovey did with all that pickle money when Heinz was sold to Warren Buffet and company. Did he happen to invest in something that may be benefited by this pipeline ? There are already investigations into this purchase by the feds.
Be good to see a real news journalist follow up this for a change.

If you are correct it just shows how poor the research is within these environmental organisations despite the millions of dollars they have at their disposal. It also reflects a “group think” mentality within the lobbyists in Washington. No one bothered to sit down and look at the legal issues from the “ground up”.
The WWF has obviously been set up by insects as a tax relief.

Heartening to see, The cleaning up the biggest oilspill on the planet, keep rubbing that piece of “Greenspeak” in,it makes the eco-tards heads explode.
I am hoping Obama says no to the Pipeline.
This insane act would help you Americans be rid of his ilk in the next election.2014.
But his stopping Keystone would allow our government to invoke national interest and with a straight face, kick the paid eco-activists where it hurts while forcing the Eastern pipeline permits through and expediting the western pipelines construction.
Politically, Obama obstructing this project would be gold to Canadian conservatives.
Economically we might be better off if we are less dependent on your markets, Obamanomics scare the cr@p out of me.
So a little short term pain, could be political and fiscal gain up here.

“Lovey” would be Teresa, I guess. But apparently neither she nor any of the other Heinz Family members have been part of the company nor “owners” of it in any substantial** way for quite some time. She did get $500 million after her husband’s death in a plane crash in 1991. So the bottom line for John Kerry and Teresa from the sale to Berkshire Hathaway and 3G Capital will be zero.
