Another good cartoon and now I have one or more for every month next year, I’m trying hard not to look at my calendar beforehand.

At Doha Monckton of Arabia doesn’t believe there has been any real warming in the last 16 years, nor presumably does he believe in the “Flintstones”. However, the delegates from Abu Dhabi do!

Not sure they discuss temperature at Doha, “Hot”… Rather, they focus their cerebral energies around ways to hold up industrialized nations and steal their money.

Here’s another cartoon idea:
On the left, two monkeys, one that hears no evil and one that sees no evil, with their hands over their ears and eyes.
On the right is a monkey with a megaphone pointed at them, from which these words emerge: “No warming for 16 years!”
Caption: “Moncky speaks truth to cower”

Atmospheric CO2 : (In words) one twenty fifth of one percent; (as percent) .04%; (as decimal) 0.0004; (as fraction) 1⁄2500
And we are going to alter the behavior of the atmosphere by tinkering with that infinitesimal one twenty five hundredth fraction that is carbon dioxide?

I have been looking, in vain, for a list of the 37 countries out of 194 that signed Kyoto 2 until 2020 (Only 8 years?), does anyone know (Apart from Australia, the, errrmmm, “lucky”country *ahem*)?

Science of the medieval Arabs ( numbers, algebra, astronomy etc) started renaissance of the science in Europe.
Now at the Doha gathering there is a pamphlet on sale:
AlGorithms the prophesies of AlGore
al-Khwārizmi would not be a happy man.
