Elmer, of Minnesotans for Global Warming famous “Hide the Decline” fame, has a keen eye for comic opportunity, much like our esteemed cartoonist, Josh. He’s produced a new video today. Normally I don’t allow videos of this type, what with the “d-word” and all, but when its about you, I think I can grant myself a pass. Have a look.

The Devil hates laughter, so it is said. You cannot undo laughter. Already, MSM jokes about AGW are OK. Trying to get this removed will be another Streisand effect publicity moment.
Thank you M4GW, another brilliant hit. You really have the touch, like Josh. And you’ve survived Mann’s attempt at suppression IIRC.
Does the video imply that there is an army of skeptics?
ROFLMAO
I have just wet myself.

The video was posted under “Humor, Satire”.
Need I say more to those with a view that everything is “serious”. Smile a bit and enjoy the ride. There is no other like it. That is why you are here.
Open door number 1 and it will make you laugh. Open door number 2 and it will make you angry or cry. Open door number 3 and it will make you think. Door number 4 will offer you relief. All the doors are labeled. Open only the ones you choose. I choose door number 1 at this moment. That ride made me laugh.
I personally believe the issues involved in the Global Warming fraud are very serious, and that the stakes are high. However, if you have even been in war, or at sea in a storm, or helping out after a car crash, you understand that laughter can and does occur in even the most fear-inspiring and serious situations. It is a huge relief when pressure is enormous, and even seems necessary for mental health.
When H-word was gaining power, and all feared the approaching war and that it would mean the loss of loved ones, did Charlie Chaplin say, “This subject is far too serious to spoof.” Or did he produce “The Great Dictator?”

Anthony, I fear you will be heavily criticized for putting this up. If you are wanting [sic] to get your paper to viewed [sic] seriously by the mainstream, this works against you.
Nick, WE ARE the mainstream an we view the paper seriously.
Nick, Nick common. Can’t ya laugh a little? Besides the video also shows nonverbally exactly what scientists have been up against! Glad this is all over the internet in my surfing — viral?
Shows you what sort of people Anthony Watts and the anti-science propagandists are. Comparing scientists to Nazis? Get in touch with reality people.
That is a keeper. LOL
Having seen a few of these, I was trying to anticipate what attempt at comfort would be exchanged between the two ladies. Then it was cut short. Usually “Don’t worry, ———–”
– we still have Julia Gillard.
– I’m sure that Kalte Sohn guy will change his mind now.
– at least Muller has been peer reviewed.
– Herr Doktor Gleick can always “find” an “internal memo.”
Yes, they’ve kept this video on YouTube despite threats from Mann.

Wobble. thanks for the link ” this video “. I did not have broadband when it came out. Hilarious!
Sorry but I’m so sick of this Hitler video and then comparing anyone who disagrees with you as a Nazi. It stopped being funny a long time ago.

Pssst. It’s a *parody*.
“Humorous” is I believe the word you were after here. The “humerus” is the upper bone in your arm, the one that keeps your forearms and hands from falling on the floor. Not all sure what a “humerous” would be.

Since the area commonly-termed the “funny bone” is located at the base of the humerus, something that “tickled your funny bone” could be described as — humerous.
Or not.
Didn’t take long for the fake concern to appear did it?
Someone must have left the bunker door open to let them out for a bit…

According to Weebsters’s dictionary:
Definition of HUMEROUS
\ˈhyü-mə-rəs\
A concatenation of two words, humerus and humorous (see definitions below), the word humerous is typically used to refer to something that is so humorous, it may be said to be so extremely funny, that it is funny down to the bone. Figuratively the concatenation means “laughing funny bone.”
One of the most well known recent examples of such concatenation is Sarah Palin’s word “refudiate.” A descriptive mixture of the words refute, and repudiate. Another, “misunderestimate” is a famous coinage by former President George W. Bush. “Wee-wee’d up,” while not a concatenation, is another example of flamboyant word usages and is a lexical creation by President Barack Obama.
\ˈhyü-mə-rəs\
plural hu·meri
Definition of HUMERUS
: the long bone of the upper arm or forelimb extending from the shoulder to the elbow
hu·mor·ous
adj
\ˈhyüm-rəs, ˈyüm-, ˈhyü-mə-, ˈyü-\
1 : full of or characterized by humor : funny
Have you watched these Downfall videos? Comparisons to Nazis are blatantly missing from most of them, and it doesn’t seem as if this one is comparing anyone to Nazis either.
In case those who asked still don’t get it, here’s a clue.
d-word = d****r

Nuts. And here I thought it was “droughts”…
…not.
Add me to those who appreciate m4gw’s continuing stream of videos, including “Hide the Decline” and “I’m a Denier!” These guys have talent.
