Not sure where else to post this so that you will see it, but as I write, your blogstats are sitting at 99,965,942 views … so your blog is rapidly approaching a very significant milestone – which I anticipate will probably be reached within the next day or so (if not sooner!)
May I suggest that you start a Countup thread, so that lurkers and fans may express their thoughts as this milestone approaches … This will build excitement and traffic – and confound the “powers that wannabe”, I’m sure 😉
On one hand it thought to myself “it’s just a number, no big deal” on the other hand I thought “this only comes once, and a number of people have emailed me about it, so there must be some excitement going on”.
So, who am I to argue with the lady? Sound off below.
let me be the first on this post to congratulate y’all ! brilliant work folks !
I am happy to blow a trumpet and announce to the word that this blog is fantastic and more, many many more peopke could benefit from subscribing to it!
Countdown Congratulations
People even! Grrrrrrr drat finger nails
Go for it!
Congratulations on a fantastic achievement, Anthony!
Like I always say… you only turn 100,000,000 once… Congratulations!
Andrew
I rarely comment, but often read. Wow!…just Wow!
Congrats…great website
As a visual image of 100 million vs the US population….
Of any group gathered anywhere in the USA, a theater, classroom, assembly, congress, etc,
30 percent of those in the room would raise their hand knowing who WUWT is.
I know these are not unique views, but this visual image is quite remarkable.
GREAT JOB !!! Anthony et al.
Keep takin’ it to ’em Anthony!
Anthony, I’m so glad you decided not to argue with me 😉
As of this comment: 99,969,427 views and counting!
That’s 3,485 in less than an hour! May WUWT continue to go and grow from strength to strength (and milestone to milestone!)
Hilary
[And more than 740,000 reader comments – another extremely impressive number – all in just 5 years. ~dbstealey, mod.]
[P.S.: Don’t forget to vote for WUWT for “Best Science” site. If we win this year, we will be retired, since three years running puts us permanently in the Hall of Fame, and we’ll never have to vote again. ~dbs, mod.]
Looks like it’ll be a hundred million Saturday, so congrats are in order to you and your team.
Just think … in three or four years, it’ll be a quarter billion.
Excellent! Wonderful news!
1 myriad myriad. Cool.
99,970,372 views as I write from Pattaya in Thailand. The current time is13:27hrs on Saturday afternoon. How about everyone who posts putting down where you are and also the local time and number of views?
A superb achievement by any standards. I’l make a visit to the tip jar over the next couple of days.
Cheers!
Wow, I feel almost homeopathic in my influence.
Long life and prosperity to Anthony and all who sails with him ..
Congrats Anthony on all your hard work. You deserve all the success you get. You made it happen.
Congratulations Anthony and The Team!!!!!!
Unfortunately I’ll be in a deep sleep when you get 100 million.
Now 3:35 pm Saturday here over the Pacific Ocean.
Worth every moment- congratulations.
Same number as above as I type this from Adelaide in South Australia 5.08pm Saturday 7/1/12 or in the US 1/7/12. Hot and humid but lets face it its just weather.
Congratulations Mr. Watts, you have made the world a better place.
Anthony,
This is a unique blog. Back in late 2009 when I first found out about the “silly factor” surrounding climate science, I found out about your blog I think from Icecap. Anyhow, the first time I logged on, I thought it was a student’s blog – it was just my first impression – there was such an atmosphere of innocent discovery and a true curiosity that just came through to me. It was only after a while that I figured out what a giant you have created here.
Anyhow, climate science and meteorology are not my chosen fields – I’m an engineer. But, I am also a voting citizen in a democracy so it is important to be informed and participate in discovering the truth of so-called man-made global warming – so here I am; you are stuck with me now. There is a lot to learn here, and I appreciate the forum/salon you have created.
Congratulations on your continuing success.
