In where I get my own nuclear explosion for Christmas

It’s getting onto the time when we just let other cares fall away and focus on family and friends, and what holiday season would be complete without some fireworks when they all get together? 😉

The Weekly Roundup from the Daily Bayonet is out, and I got quite the chuckle from the photo and caption, enough so that I want to drive some traffic there. Oh and there’s some brilliant writing too:

Let’s hope Roberts’ argument carries the day, because every time he and his warmist friends ring the global warming alarm bell, another skeptic gets his wings.

Be sure to vote on their poll.

That said, I wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Posting may be erratic starting tomorrow through Monday as like many of you I’m in the last minute panic trying to get everything done so relatives won’t have have anything to complain about.

And Ecotretas has video links showing Branson and Pachauri making their jokes about the extermination of anyone who doesn’t agree with them. They’re having lots of fun.

Another non-commercial Christmas for us. In a way, I find that’s better anyway. Family is more important than buying a bunch of junk anyway. It’s hard to feel warm and cozy in the new economy. And many thanks to government policy for bringing another year of holiday joy to my family.
Sarcasm doesn’t begin to express my emotions on that topic.

Dirk…. Branson and RJ should be the first to go! IMHO 🙂
Anthony et all ……. A Very Happy Christmas, safe and prosperous New Year. AGAIN thanks for all your hard work on our behalf. . There is ONE reason for the Season, Blessings One and ALL.

Whodda thunk we would see the Christmas when getting a lump of coal in your stocking would be a GOOD thing, as compared to worthless ‘carbon credits’?
Here’s a little warped Christmas cheer from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, by a band called Da Yoopers!!!

Happy Christmas Anthony, family, mods, and readers of this blog, and may it live long, prosper and hit 100 million by New Year.
You should put a clause in your blog purpose – to preserve the sanity of all those oppressed by consensus thinking. Whoops! “Everyone knows there ain’t no sanity clause!” (h/t. Marx bros).

EO,
I have insufficient data to provide trend analysis. Alas, I can only relate a single data point from New Years 1983. The model was a willowy and rare blend of software and firmware, compiled high enough to nearly look me in the eyes (I’m 6’1″),… and just glitchy enough to make for a very interesting evening of stimu…. er, simulation. This particular model demonstrated insensitivity to initial inputs but subsequent efforts yielded a surprising sensitivity increase with a corresponding warming trend. While a gentleman must not speak of ‘do loops, if/then commands, high N iterations leading to definitive solutions’ and such… Suffice to say ‘it was a memorable evening’… but one data point does not make a trend!
While I would dearly love to pursue this line of research in much greater detail, I lack sufficient opportunities… probably because I am no longer a ‘model citizen’ myself. Que lastima…
Perhaps you could suggest your Lady try a dab of Vermonts Original Bag Balm, to smooth and soften those hard, pointy elbows? Er…. maybe not… };>)
Merry Christmas to you Both!

As we celebrate the birth of Him who is the prince of peace and the light of the world, we can only pray that some light would dawn in the heads of those who think models make the climate.
God bless you and yours this Christmas.
