Last month I was surprised to find WUWT broke the 2 million hits barrier.
This month, it’s worse than we thought:

Just another effect of Climategate.
In other news, some other websites didn’t appear to benefit from the Climategate “bump”.
From Alexa.com
As always, I say I could not have done this alone. My sincere thanks to the many contributors, and moderators Charles, DB, and Evan. Of course, let’s not forget all the readers and commenters. Truly a global village we have here.

I thank you Anthony, your efforts go far beyond the call of duty.
I would like to ask all the impossible question ;
HOW DO YOU GET A POLITICIAN TO ;
(1) admit that he was wrong !
(2) that he has cost the country a few billions of dollars (or Euros)
(3) and yes I am a ……….
Great job, Anthony!
Thanks from Austria (not Australia!).
It´s too bad we do not have a page like yours in german language.
Most of the austrians are believers, allmost all of them think, co2 is a polutant.
They do not realy care about AGW, but it is worst enough to be sure, that co2 ist a “killer”. Our stupid goverment is pushing the AGW theorie, not only the greens and there is nothing in big media about climategate.
I also predict 6 million in December, despite Xmas.
I feel so special since I’ve been here since the beginning. I do kind of miss stevenson screen experiments. Those were the days.
Now we are so preppy pretty soon we are going to have Abercrombie banner adds.
Much has been accomplished here, Anthony.
Our sleepy little town is abuzz with the news of ClimateGate and the AGW hoax. I didn’t have to tell them, they already knew.
And, even better, heavy rain in the long range forecast.
Just another part of the cycle, but you cannot please the State of California, for before you can say levee, they’ll be screaming about too much water.
Congrats to Anthony & the mods for holding it all together through this blow-out. Knew you were going to blow through the 3 mil mark. Good to see confirmation.
Another view of the traffic can be seen at Quantcast:

In other news of the day, here at the eastern end of Lake Erie we’re forecast to get 3-6″ of global warming today (AKA snow).
The greens revolted against the Green Revolution.
Now the Hockey Stick too has a meaning mirroring its original attempt to control mental attitudes. It was the graphical version of doublespeak. The original Hockey Stick was the greens’ doublegraph, the newgraph!
But the rational people saw through it and have parodied the newgraph with the peoplegraph! (I really don’t know how to develop this image, any good script writers out there??)
This is proof that, in general, the “true believers” just do not want to know about Climategate.
Alternatively, the True Believers may have started coming here to enlighten us and stayed for the enlightenment…
I just wish we could all meet up for a beer somewhere and sometime.
Congratulations Anthony, although I think its something of an aberration caused by Climategate, its nice to know that so many people are watching.
I myself became quite addicted to checking out WUWT every hour or so. Its quite sad really.
By the way, I’ve never seen such neck-breaking ducking and covering as I’ve seen on “Climate Progress”, “Doltoid” and of course “RealClimate”. The sky fell down and they’re trying to tell us all that its supposed to be that low.
Who is the chick selling the T shirts?
Your number must be low. I did half your number myself.
Thanks.
[you spoofing James? cuz we don’t allow that kind of thing ~ ctm]
Despite the sky falling it supposed to be that low. – Gavin
I like it.
In the spirit of AW’s praiseworthy even-handedness we should all wish Dr Phil,Jones all the best in his new job in Italy – he is, I’m sure I got this right, to be the curator of the Turin Shroud.
Congratulations!
I would like to temporarily name the villlage hobbiton, the graph peak the side of mordor and you Anthony baggins.
There’s some good science in this world Mr Anthony… and it’s worth fighting for.
If that second graph were a cardiogram print out of four people in a room then I’m afraid that two of the other three are struggling to keep a pulse going, and the fourth (Tamino) has gone terminal. I had to look really hard to notice that that particular flat line wasn’t the bottom of the graph.
WUWT has a healthy pulse in comparison, but on Nov 17th it got a large shot of adrenalin or something similar. This only confirms that more and more people are coming here to find out what is going on because the MSM continue to cover their eyes and ears while they speak, scared to find out that many of us know the jig is up and we don’t believe their waffle anymore.
OT but an interview on Aussie Sky TV tonight showed the new Liberal Party leader to be a very cool customer. Very measured and strong in responding to the interviewer trying to show that the Liberals have no alternative to the Rudd proposal. Sure his response was mainly to attack the ETS as an unsustainable tax burden, but he wasn’t to be rushed on what his party would do given the chance. Early days yet, but this could be an earth shaking moment not only in Australian politics, but for global politics as well. And Aussies call New Zealand the Shakey Isles!
Thank you Anthony and Moderators!
Tax’n-Hagen cope this!
Mick from Oz.
But, but, but …
I took pride in being a skeptic.
I reveled in the thrill of being a denier.
I don’t want us to be RIGHT, damn it!
Seriously, this is fantastic, and I really appreciate you guys and gals putting up with wannabes like me.
But we ain’t finished yet. Lots to do.
The alarmists will feel alone and lost without a cause, and them folks got lots of PR and lobbyists on their donation-funded payroll.
Tell me if I am wrong or that the scientists making claims about the size and quantity of Jellyfish in Japan fishing areas that came from the China Sea. They claim pollution and global warming are responsible, but I was under the impression that pollution kills Marine life if not hamper their abilities to grow healthy and proportionatly. The video attached is what is in question.

TheTimes newspaper (UK) totally ignored all reporting on Climategate though it did run one short leader efectively just dismissing the whole matter as irrelevant (cf, Paul Krugman) and one greatly intemperate column by Aaronovitch effectively saying the whole reporting of Climategate was the only real scam. Today, however, the Times leads page one with a strory from SCAR about ice meltdown in the Antarctic which is supposedly a massive threat to hordes of cities all over the world.
What are your views, Antony, on Scar? What is their track record? Are any of their `advisory’ panel linked in any way to Climategate? I have decided not to run to the hills yet in spite of Scar/Times. What sort of risk am I running?
I’ll grant you it looks impressive, but is the current level of traffic really unprecedented? For some reason this graph conveniently omits the Medieval Internet Period.
Well done Anthony and the only Team in Climate Science that matters!
Meanwhile the mighty Baghdad Bob Collective are desperately rushing around trying to plug the ever-increasing leaks that will only serve to delay the impending dam burst.
The reputation of that once mighty organ of truth is heading the way of the CRU and many of its employees will not be happy about this.
Perhaps there’s the odd mole or three lurking who has access to the e-mail chain between the Director General and Downing Street?
Just a thought.

I just wish we could all meet up for a beer somewhere and sometime.
You’re on – my place, you’re paying, and Andrew decides when.
Congratulations for a genuinely useful hockey stick. It seems to have had an effect with the Australian Liberals with their would be leader Hockey knocked out of the competition . Now it should be wielded to bash that prize buffoon Richard Black into touch, for his lunatic report about the Antarctic ice melting.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8387137.stm
It appears he is not aware that by being known as Phil Jones’ poodle, Black’s credibility is zero.
All he does is “Regurgitate, Regurgitate, Regurgitate, Regurgitate”
Absolute bullocks – Reticulum, Rumen, Omasum, sorry, can’t resist, Obomasum!!! Otherwise known as the poor arithmetic of POTUS.
