BBC Bitesize Accused of ‘Brainwashing’ Schoolchildren with Left-Wing Views on Migration and Net Zero

From THE DAILY SCEPTIC

By Richard Eldred

A Mail on Sunday investigation has found that the BBC’s education website is pushing extreme Left-wing views on open borders, Net Zero and inequality to children as young as 11. Here’s an excerpt:

Launched in 1998, BBC Bitesize is one of the biggest education websites in Britain, with half of all children aged between four and 16 saying they use it. Almost 1.7 million pupils access it every week.

BBC bosses have hailed the service as a key part of the broadcaster’s founding ‘Reithian’ values to “inform, educate and entertain”.

The MoS investigation reviewed material on BBC Bitesize for pre-GCSE secondary school pupils aged 11 to 14.

In one extraordinary example, pupils are encouraged to play a game called Increasing Immigration, making decisions aimed at boosting the number of incomers.

Each option comes with a budget “cost” and once they’ve chosen, they find out the effects on the economy, public health and the environment.

Instructions for the game, hosted on the Roblox platform, state: “We don’t have enough people of working age to keep our society running smoothly. We should try to attract migrant workers and incorporate them into our economy.”

In one scenario, pupils are told that “a few” immigrants are living here without proper visas or permission and can either deport them or grant them an amnesty. If they choose deportation they will lose one point on the economy and one on public health – and are warned: “This can be potentially dangerous for them [the immigrants]. Don’t expect this to be unchallenged!”

But those who opt to grant an amnesty are told “this will make them very happy” and win two points in the same categories.

In a second scenario, geography pupils are told that allowing people to pass through the border easily “could really help grow our economy”. They are offered the option of “open borders” – which results in their economy score rising by three points and public health by two points – or to vote that such a policy would be “too radical”, winning them no points.

Those who opt for open borders receive the optimistic message: “I’m excited to see where this goes!” In contrast, pupils who select “too radical” are told: “Perhaps you’re right to be cautious.”

A third example involves “poorly-paid, demanding” jobs available in food processing. Pupils are told hiring locals costs the fictional budget two points, but employing migrants costs one. In this scenario, each option boosts the economy by the same amount, but hiring migrants costs players less. …

Citizenship pupils in Northern Ireland are told that while immigrants can put pressure on housing and hospital waiting lists, they also “contribute more in tax income that they use in services” and “make a significant contribution to the economy: they fill skills gaps, pay taxes and spend money”.

Geography pupils in Wales, meanwhile, are told that migrants pump a “staggering amount of money” into the economy. …

The Northern Ireland study material also states: “Some people may think that migrants take jobs from local people. This view likely arises from prejudice.”

Another part of the website lists twice as many benefits for migration compared to disadvantages.

BBC Bitesize also appears to be advocating a world without borders. A video for Welsh geography students states: “As technology evolves… the question remains: can we learn to live with globalisation? And with it, fulfil the promise of a truly borderless world.” …

A video on the website also describes the contentious Net Zero policy as an “important goal” and suggests that pupils could “petition your local government to act”. Another video, for students in Wales, states: “For us to reach Net Zero in Wales, we’ll have to do things differently. We may need to fly less, eat less meat or stick to sustainably farmed meat.” …

BBC Bitesize material also hails a string of Left-wing and progressive ‘political’ icons, including climate activist Greta Thunberg and 1980s campaign group Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners. …

In another video about reducing inequality, the presenter states that “the world becomes a fairer place when we take every cause as our own” and, over footage of a Pride flag, says “I will always be an ally to those shouting for equality”.

It also shows demonstrations featuring placards emblazoned with “Black Muslim Lives Matter” and “Refugees Welcome”.

Like I’m not already annoyed by the claim we don’t have enough people to do the jobs when seemingly half the population is off sick, the Beeb fails to distinguish legal, solicited immigrants from illegal migrants.

An actual immigrant, with a visa and a job waiting, does not need amnesty. FFS!

Someone bobbing around in the sea hoping to be brought ashore without a visa is a criminal/intruder/invader/sponger, not an immigrant. Words have meaning. Lord Reith would have said so too.

Isn’t the BBC being run by a Goldman Sachs guy who was the Mentor of the 2 ” right wing” prime ministers Johnson and Sunak.

If I were not a crazy conspiracy theorist I’d have a hard time to explain this contradiction.

Great, a deviant version of SimCity. At least when I put coal-fired power plants between every city block and let the crime rate rise in my city so I could then send Godzilla in to do a bit of landscaping, nobody was handing out good or bad points…

You know, I wonder whether the kids being brainwashed by this BBC website get good points when they learn that their left-wing management caused the death of a British citizen, handcuffed in front of his attacker while bleeding out after being stabbed with a kirpan.

When I grow up, I want to be a paid liar for CNN/BBC. Don’t wait for it.

Diversity is the strength of the Divide&Rule Cabal.
Diversity was never a thing the plebs are or were interested in.

Divide&Rule is being used all over the place – a rabid political divide(you are not with us then you are against)along racial and gender lines,
then the class warfare – since Marx.

Pretty new is the imported divide by mass invasion just as the sexual divide where the divide even exists on a symbolic level(by “dividing” light you get the Rainbow)

I’ve been saying this for years.

The government has been embedding its people in the BBC as reporters and verifiers for years.

Now that people in large number have given up on the BBC and stream instead…

BBC licence fee could be axed and replaced by £11-a-month internet charge whether people watch live TV or not under new plans being considered by Labour

Even if you want nothing to do with the BBC it still wants your money.
