Live at 1 PM ET: Crappy Feet: Penguins Cause, And Maybe Stop, Climate Change — The Climate Realism Show #221

The Heartland Institute

Remember when cows were destroying the planet with their burps? Now penguins are melting Antarctica with their poop. But wait! Other scientists say penguin poop might actually help stop climate change. So which is it? Should there be a federal program to fit penguins with diapers to save the planet?

On Episode #221 of The Climate Realism Show, we will waddle into that latest bizarre climate headline and other Crazy Climate News of the Week. The New York Times is blaming climate change for the “gentrification of seafood,” whatever that means. The Washington Post is sounding the planetary alarm yet again, warning that Earth’s “vital signs” are deteriorating and climate tipping points could be around the corner. We will debunk that, and more.

Join The Heartland Institute’s Sterling Burnett, Anthony Watts, Linnea Lueken, and Jim Lakely for another fun 90 minutes on Friday, October 16 at 1 p.m. ET on YouTube, Rumble, X, and Facebook. Participate in the show by leaving your comments and questions in the live chat.

“Remember when cows were destroying the planet with their burps?”

Do you clods running your so-called Climate realism show really think that’s a memory?

VERY short search says:

Yes, Bovaer is currently being fed to cattle and dairy cows in various parts of the world, though its use varies by region and faces recent controversy.

Thank you. I like it when smart people showcase their intelligence with insults.

Thanks, I was fishing for your comment. Why on Earth would they imply that methane from cow burps isn’t an issue anymore? The climate crusaders still believe that methane from dairy farms and cattle ranches is a problem. Maybe the folks at the Heartland Institute just worded it wrong.

There are lots of fronts to battle the Climate Crusade on, and methane is just one. Maybe Bovaer is on it’s way out, but the war on dairy and beef continues to rage.

The cow methane war has been much quieter for several years, in my memory. This is the first mention I’ve seen in a while.

ETA: tossing out insults like candy is cloddish behavior. If you want to be taken seriously, behave seriously.

Stupid and pointless juvenile comment.
Now, 2026, the extinction of the methane monster is long since in the past for all of us who know that it is irrelevant to the energy economy of the planet.
There are fools building windmills, there are fools planting solar panel forests and there are dupes who have fallen for a medication supplement to their artificially fed livestock. Duh!

And all this time I’ve been led to believe penguin poop was beneficial because it helps make easy penguin population counts from the air. Who knew the horror that it was hiding?
