LIVE AT 1PM EDT: Has the World Given Up on Fighting Climate Change? — The Climate Realism Show #176

When The New York Times starts to wonder if the world has given up on fighting climate change, maybe it’s time to believe them? The paper’s “Climate Forward” event the other day featured a New York Times staffer sounding forlorn that we’ve missed “the one chance we have to save the one planet we’ve got.”

On Episode #176 of The Climate Realism Show, we will also cover more of the Crazy Climate News of the Week, including the downfall of Chief Climate Scold Michael Mann, and Pope Leo blessing a chunk of ice at a “climate justice” summit. Join The Heartland Institute’s Anthony Watts, Sterling Burnett, Linnea Lueken, Jim Lakely, and James Taylor live at 1 p.m. ET on YouTube, Rumble, and X.

I haven’t given up on climate change; I’m just waiting a 100 years to see if it is real.

My wife is in Montenegro, today she sent me photos of a heavy snow blizzard. The 4×4 she was in had to turn back. It’s the earliest snow in living memory.

Has the world given up on fighting climate change?

Did the world ever start fighting climate change?

A more accurate question in my opinion would be – has the world stopped paying people to yammer on about it, and pretend they’re fighting it?

Most of the world climate is water, ice, snow, rocks and sand. Activities of humans are not going to effect or change the climate of the vast Pacific ocean or of the massive mountain ranges. In big cities, however, the UHI effect can alter local climates.

I still can figure out how the people around weren’t fighting back laughter when the poop blessed that block of ice. !!

Talk about performance gibberish. !

Its blasphemy to worship two religions at the same time.

Well, because everyone KNOWS how forceful the Pope(s) and Vatican have been in “fighting climate change” as well as in accepting immigrants into Vatican City that are “climate refugees”, this advice to Il Papa: You no play’a da game, you no make’a da rules.

Climate alarmism is down but not dead despite all the Trump induced changes . A change of administrations and retaking the House & Senate could undo everything. The current climate & energy policies need to be codified into law, not just executive orders.
The climate crisis advocates remind me of this:
“Every great cause starts as a movement, becomes a business, then degenerates into a racket.
And those who benefit from the racket will defend it with passion.” – Eric Hoffer

Since the Alarmists don’t really care about the science, are willing to lie to the public, and the current policies threaten their livelyhoods, climate crisis skeptics will need to remain focused and relentless for the forseeable future.
In American football lingo: don’t spike the ball before you get to the Endzone !

Sobering, but accurate. Celebration still lurks in the future.
