The corporate climate-alarmist media is already turning up the heat—on your TV, not outside—by hyping a summer warm spell as a “heat dome” threatening “dangerous heat and humidity” across much of America next week. Yes, it’s going to be hot. It’s summer. But the data tell a different story: there’s no long-term trend showing an increase in the number or intensity of heat waves. And despite what they claim, carbon dioxide emissions don’t drive heat waves. That’s not to say human activity isn’t warming the planet—but not in the way they’re shouting from the rooftops. We’ll lay it all out.
In episode 162 of The Climate Realism Show, we’ll give you the facts you need to counter the inevitable media panic surrounding next week’s forecast. Plus, we’ve got a loaded slate of Crazy Climate News: U.S. residential solar is on the brink, the so-called carbon fingerprint just got smeared, and Philadelphia’s electric bus fleet is going up in flames—literally. You’ll want to hear all of it.

“Heatwave” inspires different ideas in Atlanta and Alberta.
In Yesterday’s Daily Express is this title to an item about the current heat wave in the UK:
“40C days in the UK are likely to become 20 times more common than in the 1960s”
40C days – a London badly placed thermometer does not show the UK’s weather;
likely to become – means pure speculation;
20 times more common – meaningless number;
than the 1960s – during the cooling oscillation that led to the ‘we’re all going to freeze’ due to CO2, scam, in the 70s.
On the opposite page was an article about disappearing seals at Antarctica due to the warming ocean. I remembered the penguins, that the French scientists were intrusively studying, that disappeared due to Global Warming. They had merely moved 200 or 300 miles down the coast to escape the humans.
And from late Sunday the heat wave will by all over again. The air will no longer be from Africa but from Labrador.
“dangerous heat and humidity”
South-east Arizona over the past week, even at 4,600 ft elevation, daytime highs in the triple digits. Relative Humidity, single digit range. Evaporative (swamp) coolers work well.
Starting Monday, for at least five days and nights, the forecast is for 40% to 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms, with daytime highs in the low 90’s. Monsoon two weeks early?
Barcelona city last night 26ºC min with 57% humidity. But in a Malgrat de Mar a village a bit along the coast to the North min was just 20.7ºC. To the south from Barcelona in l’Ametlla de Mar min was also 20.7ºC.
There you have your climate change.
Meanwhile, down near the NSW coast, the wet weather has gone, thank goodness..
.. but because there are no overnight clouds, the nights and mornings are decidedly chilly.
Even the MSM is getting in on the act. 🙂
Insane freeze strikes Australia’s east coast and it’s about to get colder: Here’s why
Soak your feet in ice water to beat the heat
Just your sweat and the ventilator on low will do the trick. Don’t put it on high because it will dry your skin and you will lose the cooling effect.
Use the ice for the whiskey.
