We get so many great questions in each episode of The Climate Realism Show that we decided to dedicate a whole episode to answering them. Well—all of it except our coverage of the Crazy Climate News of the Week, of course.
This week:
- UN Secretary-General António Guterres is once again calling for censorship of climate realists
- Another massive ship has been set ablaze and set adrift by EVs
- Our atmosphere is getting “thirstier” (and that’s bad, of course)
- And a Florida TV weatherman is lying about not being able to predict hurricanes because of federal budget cuts
In Episode #160 of The Climate Realism Show from The Heartland Institute, Anthony Watts, Linnea Lueken, H. Sterling Burnett, and Jim Lakely are joined by newly minted meteorologist Chris Martz, who has been driving alarmists crazy on social media for years.
Join us LIVE at 1 p.m. ET on Friday—and since this is a special Q&A episode, get those questions ready!
Roy Spencer will eventually retire..
Would Chris be able learn that area and to take over that role ?
he is just an arrogant ignorant kid with a BS degree, a nobody. Pick any person from this website and he would have the same knowledge, or even more, than Chris. Climate scepticism dies if we invest in ignorant people like him.
Says the alarmist shonk..
Did you ask an AI about that too, to substitute for what you don’t have.
Chris would have several times more knowledge that you are capable of.
What’s the world comin’ to? This guy’s got a fancy BS degree and still denies science, and folks are out here cheerin’ for his dumb ideas! The anti-Greta? More like the anti-science goof!
Yo, wake up! Greta’s an activist, not some lab nerd. Guess it’s easy to dunk on her but you’re too scared to face real scientists!
What science does Chris “deny”??
Produce facts , not mindless alarmist propaganda.
FYI, many people on this forum are real scientists.
You are obviously not one of them..
How much of climate warming is caused by Human CO2 emissions? There is an answer to this question and it is that the effect of Human CO2 emissions is only about 0.16 deg C.
This is based on the work of Wijngaarden and Happer (W&H)[1], H. Harde[2], IPPC data on Natural CO2 [3], and the fact that the warming effect of CO2 decreases logarithmically as CO2 concentration increases as first pointed out by Arrhenius in 1908 [4].
W&H calculate a maximum change of 2.3 deg. C for a doubling of CO2 concentration from 400 to 800 ppm. Their calculations match satellite observations for the vastly different places of the Sahara, Mediterranian, and Antarctica.
IPCC data shows that total CO2 emissions now are about 95% Natural and less than 5% from Humans.
Man-made Climate theory and models assume that increased atmospheric concentration from 280 ppm pre-industry to 420 ppm now is almost all due to Human emissions. To get this result, they assume that Natural CO2 has a short residence time in the atmosphere – about 4 years – but Human CO2 resides for hundreds or thousands of years or forever. This is unscientific nonsense; the molecules are the same and must be absorbed the same by plants and the ocean.
Harde shows that Natural and Human CO2 emissions mix in the atmosphere; the molecules are the same and the mixture is absorbed. The atmosphere cannot be more concentrated in Human CO2 than the 5% Humna that goes in.
Human emissions are now a little less than 5% of 420 ppm in the atmopshere, about 20 ppm CO2.
The effect of this 20 ppm is only 0.16 deg.C as shown by the logarihmic formula on the attached chart [5].
This is about 0.04 deg. F for USA emissions, 0.25 deg. F for the Rest of the World.
