B – fwiw every ruling has been appealled
c – Even if Mann loses the appeals, its still a long way from collecting the award.
the only thing I think is worth considering is if Mann eventually loses through all the apeal process, what is the chance the guardian angels that have been funding the lawsuit will fork over the damages or will they bail and leave mann with paying the judgement?,

It appears Dr Mann is not at all concerned with what courts throw at him.
If anyone see any evidence that he is suffering from these court imposed penalties, please let me know.

The irony here is immense!
I would say the average memory on news in our country is maybe 3 days ( only for the biggest events!) Had Mann just ignored the criticism, it would have been forgotten 10 years ago but instead on a regular basis, the public is reminded of the failure of the hockey stick & he’s out $1M + :

It’s a disgrace that Mann has been elected to the Royal Society . I have written to them twice – no reply.
As I recall he never paid court costs to Tim Ball, bankrupted his wife.
but that was a canadian court so maybe he feels safe.
assume he will appeal this but if he loses he would have to pay, unless he goes on the lam from the USA?
