Mother Earth: “I am smiling in 2025 because the Great Orange one, a.k.a. President Donald Trump, has improved the state of my health. Trump’s America First energy policy prioritizes readily accessible fossil fuels, which means less resource-intensive emphasis on solar, wind, and electric vehicles.
I hope all other Western nations follow President Trump’s energy policies. I would much rather have energy production in Canada, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, and the United States than importing energy from countries that abuse Mother Nature with lower environmental standards, not to mention lower human rights. Along with water, CO2 is the best thing for Mother Nature. Geologic data over millenia show unequivically that CO2 is not a major driver of climate warming, and certainly does not lead to climate crisis.

According to your anti-CO2 comrades, CO2 has only risen to more than bare survival amounts since about 1900.. Before that there was a CO2 drought.
That means that the growth limiting factor of tree before 1900 was CO2
This makes anything produced from tree ring circuses before 1900 meaningless.
Trees are a REALLY BAD proxy for temperature under those condition.
If you use non-tree proxies, you get a very different result.
Sunlight, water, CO2, nitrogen, and trace elements.
One could easily use tree rings as a proxy for any of those.
I know you won’t, but you should read the Climate Audit posts dismantling the vast majority of these “robust” studies. They are exercises in cherry picking, statistical manipulation, and confirmation bias.
I’ve read a few of their critiques. McIntyre and Eschenbach mainly focus on the controversial Tiljander proxy, but they overlook the fact that sensitivity tests were conducted: and even when that lake sediment proxy was excluded, the results still produced a hockey stick.

What I understand is today our entire wind turbine fleet here in the UK, which has a capacity to generate 30+GW of electricity is giving us just over 2GW and falling. This is despite the £billions and £billions already paid to erect the follies and despite the guaranteed price which is already more than twice the price of fossil fuel generated electricity.
The so called renewables energy systems are failing. As each year ticks by, more wind turbines are added to our grid at huge consumer cost, yet the outcome is lower and lower efficiency/production?
The reason for that is quite simple.
The cost to maintain the installed/aging capacity is beyond rational and beyond the number of engineers available to fix the faults. Independent study has revealed the shocking steady decline in wind turbine utilisation as more turbines are added to the fleet.
We can not carry on doing this.
I would also point out the recent case in France where the courts have fined the wind energy provider for killing eagles. They have also stopped the supply from that array for one year.
The truth is coming out and it is not good.

You’re focusing on the wrong end of the “hockey stick”. The lie is not in the blade of the stick. Thermometer data clearly indicate that the earth has warmed a bit since the end of the “Little Ice Age”, around the mid-1800s. That’s why it ended.
The lie is in the stick, not the blade. There is ample evidence and corroboration of it that there have been several warm periods during the present Holocene inter-glacial epoch. These include the Holocene Climate Optimum (note it’s called an “optimum”), the Roman Warm Period, and the Medieval Warm Period. Accurate ice core proxy data from oxygen isotope ratios during these periods indicate that today’s temperatures are still less than the highs during these “Optimums”.
The “Hockey Stick” data completely misses these data.
No, the current warming is not unusually rapid. It has warmed at the same magnitude three times since the end of the Little Ice Age around 1850.

This means that it is no warmer today, with more CO2 in the air, than it was in the recent past, with less CO2 in the air, so therefore, CO2 has had no visible effect on the Earth’s temperatures. More CO2 in the air has not made the Earth hotter than it was in the recent past.
To be correct, the chart below should show the high points of the 1880’s, the 1930’s and today’s temperatures should all be on the same horizontal line on the chart. That is the True temperature profile of the Earth.

As Anthony and others have well demonstrated, the surface temperature data are hopelessly flawed and incomplete, and are of too short a duration for said purpose. The proxy data for longer records lack the temporal resolution necessary for comparison.
There is no evidence that it is in any way rapid.
Look at how quickly the most recent glaciation phase came to an end.
Look at the Dansgaard-Oeschger events.
Look at the morons who think they can compare yearly temperature averages to centennial and millennial scale proxies.
