Vice President Kamala Harris’s changing statements on fracking have become an important issue in the current U.S. presidential election campaign. Only five years ago, Harris pledged to ban fracking, a drilling technique that has helped make the U.S. the world’s top producer of oil and natural gas. Today, the Democratic nominee says she supports fracking, with many political analysts attributing the shift to the political importance of winning Pennsylvania’s electoral votes. Pennsylvania is a major center of U.S. natural production through fracking.
However, the issue goes well beyond Pennsylvania; it also has vast implications for the U.S. economy and energy security of the U.S. and its allies. Moreover, fracking can also be restricted indirectly, without a formal ban. Indeed, the Biden-Harris administration has limited fracking by indirect means, such as special taxes on natural gas production and halting new exports of liquified natural gas (LNG). Thus, the question to Vice-President Harris should not be, will you halt fracking, but will you continue the Biden-Harris administration policies that curb natural gas production and have made production more expensive.
To be sure, the question of whether Harris will adhere to her 2019 commitment to “ban fracking” is relevant to in Pennsylvania, widely viewed as the most important battleground state and home to 20% of U.S. natural gas output. Fracking provides more than 100,000 jobs to Pennsylvania residents and generates more than over forty billion dollars in state revenue. No doubt Harris’s views on fracking will affect her prospects for election in the Keystone State.
However, limitations on natural gas production through fracking, also affect all Americans. The significant increase in natural gas production beginning in the early 2000s enabled by fracking, has helped greatly lower U.S. electricity and heating costs. This has given America an important competitive edge in manufacturing, enticing many companies to relocate to the U.S. from Europe and other places where energy costs are higher.
Fracking has turned the U.S. into a net natural gas exporter, which has brought in revenue and generated jobs. The U.S. emergence as the top producer of natural gas and top global exporter of LNG has also carried significant geopolitical ramifications, enabling the U.S. to guarantee reliable gas supplies to allies and making the gas accessible to developing economies to substitute coal, such as Pakistan. Europe was able to weather several winters after Russian gas supplies dwindled following its Ukraine invasion, due to a surge in U.S. LNG exports.
As part of its climate agenda, the Biden-Harris administration imposed extensive limitations on U.S. natural gas production, while not explicitly banning fracking. These measures raised costs and thus reduced investment attractiveness of U.S. natural gas production. As part of their limitations on natural gas, the Biden-Harris administration imposed a “methane” tax (methane is the main component in natural gas) as part of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, the administration’s feature climate law. In addition, the administration imposed a slew of new regulations on methane, that added many layers of bureaucracy to natural gas production, which both generates costs and cause production delays.
To gain favor with young voters by boosting its climate credentials, in January the Biden-Harris administration halted new permits for LNG export to countries that do not have free trade agreements with the U.S., and thus require federal government approval. In July, a federal court overturned the ban, but since then no new permits have been issued. Almost counterintuitively, a ban on LNG exports can lead to long-term price increases in the American natural gas market, since without new export as an anchor for demand, some investors are likely to flee and thus production could decrease in the U.S.
In addition, the Biden-Harris LNG export ban has raised questions about whether the U.S. can be counted on as a reliable supplier; in its wake several potential customer countries signed new import agreements with Qatar and Oman. Even if the ban is eliminated in the future, the decision shook the international gas market, as importers understood that a change in a U.S. administration or policy could put their energy supplies at risk.
Low natural gas prices are essential to lowering inflation and retaining an American manufacturing edge. Natural gas prices feed into the costs of almost all products, since natural gas is the major source of electricity in the U.S. A rise in power cost, translates to a rise in the costs of manufactured goods. In addition, natural gas is the feedstock of fertilizer, thus price rises in natural gas, translate to higher food costs.
Thus, the real question to ask Vice President Harris is whether she will continue the Biden-Harris polices and taxes that affect natural gas production and export. The is important to the United States, and not just Pennsylvania. It is relevant not only to jobs in Pennsylvania, but the trajectory of inflation and of the American economy.

As long as anyone sympathetic to The Green New Deal is running the Federal government, energy supplies will be insecure. Kamala Harris’ record is rather like Robert Byrd’s record of having been a Klan recruiter in that it indicates they were at one time an extremist, and one needs to doubt any claims of reformation.
Allow millions more rapists, murderers, criminal gangs, terrorist cells, trafficked women and children along with tons of drugs to enter the country and people will forget.
Trump didnt close the border either.

The wall he had built apparently is easily breached in remote areas
The green new deal brought a lot of jobs to the US and seems widely popular within the population. But we can’t have that I guess?
The Green New Deal is a fascist socialism designed by retarded schoolchildren.
Fascism is but one flavor of socialism. I do not use the Stalinist definition of socialism as a stage towards communism. Socialism was originated by a group of largely French theorists (who were also some of the most boring authors ever, even for economists).
You can use words however you want, it doesn’t make fascism a flavour of socialism. So go play Humpty Dumpty, but don’t expect people to take it seriously.
Fascism and Nazism have more in common with Marxist/Leninism or Stalinism than differences.
You can deny reality all you want. It doesn’t go away.
People who spell flavor as flavour are not from America.
So, their opinion about United States policy promoting the Green New Deal is meaningless to Americans. So is their opinion about political systems that already failed in previous centuries
“The Two Faces of Janus: Marxism and Fascism in the Twentieth Century” by A. James Gregor
Socialism and fascism both believe the state is the signal most important entity. The minor BS differences after that are irrelevant, it’s the belief that the state is more important then the individual that ultimately leads to dictatorship of what ever kind.
Socialism is economic. Fascism is political.
“Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State” (Giovanni Gentile, Fascist theoritician).
Both Hitler and Mussolini started their careers as Socialists.
Nazi: National Socialist Freedom Movement
Nazi party: National Socialist German Workers Party
Use of socialist in those definitions was propaganda.
Fascist: Derived name from the Roman icon, fasces, used to identify the importance of Roman magistrates. First used by Mussolini.
Mussolini originally was a socialist.
Comes from the Romans ….Socii who were allies in early days.
The modern european flavour democratic socialism
Fascists are leftists, actual socialists. YOUR ideological brothers.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/grammar/difference-between-fascism-and-socialism
I’m sorry your school system failed you 🙁
Merriam-Webster is offering the progressive line, but its historically wrong.
National Socialism in Germany started out as a socialist movement. Mussolini was originally a member of the Italian Socialist Party for 14 years before founding fascism.
They did have important differences. But first the similarities.
Both socialism and fascism targeted some sub sections of their populations and both embarked on campaigns of mass murder, concentration camps and simple killings. The Soviet Union’s implementation of socialism killed more than the German implementation of Nazism. The Chinese implementation of socialism killed even more than the Soviet one. All socialist regimes, like the fascist ones, have had a secret police regime. Both have abolished due process of law, or had trials which were charades – as in the Soviet show trials. Both had a sort of index of arts and literature and mandated compliance with their ideologies. Nazism targeted the Jews and to a lesser extent slavs, gays. Socialist regimes have targeted groups not defined by race. In Pol Pot’s Cambodia, it was unwise to wear glasses. In China there were non-racially defined marks of undesirability.
But the basic pattern of targeting some sub group, and using mass murder and concentration camps, is common to both socialism and fascism.
The key difference, maybe the only really important one, is state or private ownership of production. Fascism relied on sort of coerced compliance of business and industry, whereas socialism nationalized everything in sight. The goal however was the same, a directed economy with compliance to the ideology.
Socialism and fascism do have common roots. Probably the most illuminating way of looking at them is that they both use the same techniques to deliver state control of social relations and the economy, but the institutions through which this is done vary between them.
Morally there is little to choose between them. Both are equally superstitious and murderous.
yeah right . And Ronald Reagan used to be a democrat and union president – not just a passive one too but campaigned fro the Dems
but your whole ‘was’ is just absurd anyway
The Socialist/fascist demarcation is mostly a misinterpretation. The political divide is NOT a straight line, but rather a circle, and it overlaps at the supposed ends.
That may sound like a clever idea but it’s still wrong. Yes, fascism and communism are adjacent, but fascism is not an excess of liberty and individual rights as is implied by a claim that conservatism can slide into fascism.
One dimensional thinking is utterly inadequate to classify political systems. There are many dimensions. A topic for another Open Thread, perhaps.
Appeals to authority are always the sign of a losing argument.
False. An american reporter in the mid 1930s asked Hitler himself. he denied his movement was socialist at all… which of course it wasnt .
Who do you believe , the guy who created Nazism or your your stupid claim.
So state control over most of the economy, wages, prices, and what is to be produced is not socialism, WTF do you call it?
Let’s see that quote and the original German please.
Also, Hitler did not create Nazism, but became its leader in the 1920s.
“Who do you believe , the guy who created Nazism or your your stupid claim.”
So you believe a dictator’s own words. You are really naive and gullible.
Adolf Hitler was a national socialist, as his party’s name indicates. By action he was well-aligned with the rest of the fascists. Not a conservative by any stretch of the imagination. Definitely a socialist.
Hitler was asked about the name and he flatly denied his nazis were in any way socialist
Theres a conservative party in Germany today CSU which has ‘social’ in its name. Not socialist either as its to the right of the main CDUparty.
your pidgin german has led you astray – well the idiots who repeat it for the fools that swallow it up.
Oh come on Puker. You’re making a fool of yourself (again). Repeating 75-year old propaganda spouted by commie professors.
The party name was National-sozialistische Deusche Arbeiterspartei. It was sozialistische not Sozial. Socialist, not social.
Western socialiststs were keen to distance themselves from Hitler’s atrocities (ironically while Stalin was committing even more murders), so they had to explain away that curious “socialist” aspect of the Nazi party. Never mention that Nazi is a contraction of NAzional-soZIalistische!!
And talk about strawman arguments! Who raised the topic of the Bavarian arm of the Christian Democratic Party being supposedly socialist because their name is the Christian Social Union? While you’re at it why not claim the Sozial-demokratische Partei Deutschlands (Social-democratic Party of Germany) is in NO WAY socialist? It’s social, Puker! Not socialist in the least.
It’s reminiscent of what that other troll Lusername was projecting. That socialism isn’t just whatever you don’t like. That’s also a reference from 60 or so years ago, but it was a reference to what George Orwell said about fascism.
You and your ilk want to make fascism out to be the logical next step after MAGA by introducing a non-sensical abstract concept that fascism is extreme right-wing. But in reality fascism is a kissing cousin to communism. In reality, the CCP ought to be called the CFP. Socialism with Chinese characteristics as Mao termed it.
I think that Josef Stalin, of fond memory, called his political system “socialism in one country.” In other words, national socialism.
Contrary to what most people think, the Nazis were ardent socialists (hence the term “National Socialism”). They believed in free health care and guaranteed jobs. They confiscated inherited wealth and spent vast sums on public education. They purged the church from public policy, promoted a new form of pagan spirituality, and inserted the authority of the state into every nook and cranny of daily life. The Nazis declared war on smoking, supported abortion, euthanasia, and gun control. They loathed the free market, provided generous pensions for the elderly, and maintained a strict racial quota system in their universities–where campus speech codes were all the rage. The Nazis led the world in organic farming and alternative medicine. Hitler was a strict vegetarian, and Himmler was an animal rights activist.
–from Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg
Lusername is too retarded to comprehend that Mussolini was a socialist and Hitler led the National-SOCIALIST German Workers’ Party.
Stalinist communists called fascists ‘right wing’ in a similar fashion to how reddish-orange is a slightly shorter wavelength color compared to deep red.
Calling others retarded while making such a post is quite funny. Maybe you should read about Hitler, his policies and how “socialist” he really was. Or at least educate yourself about socialism. Because “it’s what I don’t like” doesn’t quite cut it if you want to be taken seriously.
The German Nazi Party swerve away from socialism occurred quite late because of a need to get establishment support or at least cooperation. It was necessary to get into power, so the avowedly socialist elements were dropped or minimized. Those were the roots, though.
I don’t see this swerve away from socialism of which you speak. Unless you refer to demonisation of Soviet Bolshevism which to my eye was merely the logical extension of Jew-baiting. A major aspect of Nazi animosity against the Jews was a matter of socialist class warfare against the wealthy Jewish owners of banks and industries.
Fascism is collectivism for one ethnic tribe, communism is collectivism for one economic class. Sure, fascism retained vestigial corporations not formally owned by the State, but the crony capitalist ‘owners’ of enterprises under fascism may as well have been government employees who were required to abide by Gleichschaltung. The managers of state enterprises under communism were functionally equivalent to fascist owners. Both enjoyed the perks and power to essentially the same degree, a rose by any other name…
Stalin called Trotskyites “right wing deviationists”. What definition of “socialism” do you use?
Florida has State owned insurer of last resort for floods and hurricanes
Insurance Socialism.
US farmers have federal crop Insurance
Insurance Socialism
Duuh! FDR had fascist tendencies.
I’m unsure of your point. Is it that the US deviates from pure laissez faire markets, therefore why not embrace Stalinism?
A democratic decision to treat a risk collectively is somewhat removed from the idea of abolishing private property rights and giving all sorts of benefits to those unwilling to work. While I am not convinced on balance that the compromise of the free market is justified, it is certainly not a significant harm to individual property rights. Nor is it a justification to make ‘progress’ toward pure communism.
Chuckle. Nonsense claims with Net Zero basis in fact or evidence. That is what happens when one’s exposure to “the population” is limited to fellow basement dwellers.
Let’s just mock the trollbot Lusername, and move on. You can’t reason with an algorithm.
Sometimes I get the feeling half of the people here are bots. Some even seem to defend putin.
And some lusers have the mind and character of a bot fly. !
“Some even seem to defend putin.”
And some, like you defend Hamas and Hezbollah.
Thinking your transgenderism would make you safe in an Islamic state.
Scared of rainbows again?
You go for it….. girl/boy/whatever.
You confused little creature.
Where do bad rainbows go?
To prism. It’s a light sentence, but it gives them time to reflect.

Even my young somewhat liberal friends call it what it is – a scam
Sure they do.
So you admit they are correct. Well done.
What’s the evidence for job creation from the GND?
And when did it become law, so we can tell when this job creation started?
And caused the loss of many more stable jobs.
Good point. I think we should employ a whole bunch of people to break windows so that the fensters and glaziers will have more jobs. Win/Win.
A low-wattage intellect like Mylusername is incapable of understanding the brillance and insight of Frédérique Bastiat’s Broken Window Paradox.
“Widely popular?” How did you arrive at that conclusion?
Plus, it is a term that is subject to non-numerical interpretation.
Yep the green new deal was a waste of money.
Of course she will attempt to ban fracking once she’s in the WHite House and everybody knows it.
Gavin approves this message.
Awesome!
Two idiotic, know-nothing, blathering, laughing, grinning hyenas, who are busy ruining California
She will ruin the entire US, and further open the border, if given a chance
Trump needs to win by a landslide, so no Pelosi can stop him, and no RINO can stop him, to make America Greater Again
You also need to vote for Republicans down ticket, or the Democrats will impeach Trump on day one.

watch out for karma ….
Yeah, and I got an email from Gavin asking me to support several Democrat candidates–like that will ever happen.
Harris will not have to. She might. Who can say.
There are a lot of ways to destroy the natural gas industry that do not involve any action of fracking.
The U.S. should not export its gas.
It should use its gas to make products for export to world markets
The US should become the manufacturer of the world, which would employ tens of millions of skilled, highly paid people and support their families and their communities.
No more rust belts anywhere in the US.
Get the costly, elephantine government out of business
THAT WOULD MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
The US definitely should export natural gas if the price to be paid is more than what domestic consumers are willing to pay. Doing this brings in wealth to the US, which can be used to create more manufacturing…if we can be more efficient because of our low energy costs than other countries.
The ONLY rationale for restricting exports is if we would be supplying geopolitical enemies with something they need to compete with us.
Especially because America has a huge trade deficit.
Meisha,
You are spouting the neocon Cool-Aid, which, with help of the Corporate MEDIA, brainwashes the US people .
Economics 101
Far more wealth is created by having the A to Z manufacturing supply chain in the US.
Selling our gas to others, enables THEM to import manufactured products into the US.
The EU imposing sanctions on Russia is stupidity of the highest order, because it forced Russia to greatly increase their A to Z manufacture of products, some of which Russia is exporting.
The upshot: The EU gets no low-cost energy from Russia, but has gained a savvy international competitor in trade.
The EU is “adjusting” with ZERO percent growth of GDP
Russia is adjusting with about 5%/y growth of GDP in 2023 and 2024
Russia has a lot of highly trained STEM graduates, who can solve any problem.
The neocons miscalculated big-time using Ukraine as a proxy to weaken Russia.
Instead of weakening Russia, they strengthened it
If any of that was true North Korea would be an economic powerhouse.
Labour shortage, and a wartime economy burning itself out with no investments in infrastructure, new machinery or technology. A massive brain-drain of people who fled the mobilization. And you can’t just solve the lost access to international high-tech goods overnight. A population that asks why they are freezing instead of the europeans. 9% inflation. That’s the reailty in putins paradise.
And putin showed us that the second strongest military in the world is not even the second strongest in russia by now.
The U.S. and EU are providing Ukraine arms and ammo, specialists to operate the complex arms, and satellite communications to guide ammo to targets, but Ukraine is losing 2500 per day, 1/3 killed, 2/3 wounded, plus systematic destruction of its infrastructures, and Russia is advancing steadily.
The Kursk incursion was an additional mistake.
It is slowly being rolled back
The neocons thought Russia would quickly collapse, like a house of cards, but it did not, and the war would be over in a year, with minimal losses by Ukraine.
That was a gross miscalculation, which the neocons will eventually have to admit.
You’re partly right, Wilpost. There was never any possibility that Ukraine would prevail against Russia. The slow bleed-out and long-term annihilation of Ukraine is dragged out exclusively by western, mostly US aid. But I don’t believe that there was a miscalculation involved, only lies necessary to get Congress to raid our children’s future enriching certain parties at the expense of countless Ukrainian and Russian lives.
Cui bono? Who benefits?
Arms dealers and the politicians who are lobbied by arms dealers to support the futile fight to the last Ukrainian. Profits from pointless death. The same business model as Iraq and Afghanistan.
Rich,
Thank you for bringing up the additional points.
Ukraine was the most corrupt country in Europe, by far.
The oligarchs, such as Poroshenko, were running it prior to 2014 and after. Biden’s useless, corrupt son was in on the act.
The people were entertained by comedian Zelensky on his weekly comedy show.
Then he ran for President on a peace platform, to get votes, with backing of an oligarch, who owns TV and radio stations.
The peace platform quickly morphed to a war platform, because more money could be stolen by the oligarchs.
The EU and US were grossly surprised Russia did not collapse.
Ukraine is ruined, half the population is in Russia, the EU, etc.
The remaining 25 million has 10.7 million retirees, a demographic disaster.
agree with this
Great in theory but economics doesn’t work that way. With a commodity item- you sell it when you can sell it- not waiting for American companies to use it to manufacture for the world. That may or may not happen again or may not for many years. Also, the nations buying it NEED it desperately. You can’t just turn down production of gas for some possible future use.
Norway sold oil and gas, taxed it, and put the money in a pension fund, which now has $1.6 trillion for 5 million people, plus Norway used part of the money to build up to date infrastructures, tunnels, bridges, airports, communications, industries to export high tech products, research institutes, etc., and high school graduates go to university for free, for 4 to 7 years to get degrees. The U.S. should do the same.
You’re flip-flopping like Kacklin’ Kamala. First you say don’t export, use to power domestic industries, now you’re reversing that and apparently advocating nationalization of natural gas assets rather than allowing private enterprise to invest and profit.
If foreign buyers are prepared to buy liquified natural gas, that already implies a major cost advantage to domestic consumers due to the energy involved in compressing and chilling and then transporting, unloading, regasifying LNG.
It might be marginally true that prices would be lower temporarily if exports were banned, but that would lead to less investment and eventually less supply, less economic activity, fewer jobs, and a bigger trade deficit.
Government interference in free markets never improves things for anyone but the connected crony capitalists.
I was describing what Norway did
It sold oil and gas, because that was all it had of significance
That is not the case with the US
The US was a production powerhouse, but lost it starting in the early sixties
Various rationales were used as excuses.
The stupidity of losing it, led to $TRILLION trade deficits, which is unsustainable, especially on top of $TRILLION federal budget deficits, a huge national debt, which will strangle the U.S.
Harris won’t ban fracking per se. Harris will regulate fracking out of existence. Harris will make fracking prohibitively expensive and companies will stop doing it.
Harris will do all the things she said she would do before she was anointed the democrat party candidate for president. Not one primary voter in any State voted for her presidential nomination, she got a pass because a disabled and disgraced elderly politician said so.
Harris will do none of this, unless a third assassination attempt is successful.
Iran operatives have been caught importing 5 hand held, ground to air, missile launchers to shoot down Trump’s plane!
God only knows what is brought into the country over our open borders. This might even be a true story rather than the Democrats’ cover story for how they plan to take out Trump.
With Democrats weaponizing the CIA, FBI, DOJ, Secret Service, etc., I am surprised Trump is still alive; dead man walking.
Flop-flop Harris is a total zero, cannot do an interview, cannot answer questions, has no policy positions other than those she helped implement under semi-senile Biden, and when she was a Senator who slept her way to the top, via the MARRIED Mayor of Los Angelos
Harris held a meet and greet in a PA restaurant.
All the patrons had been removed and replaced by Harris stooges to make it look like she had support in PA.
That is about as phoney as you can get, but Harris just grins, stupidly.
“”Vice President Kamala Harris’s changing statements “”
Starmer’s people have been having lots of meetings with Harris’ people on electoral strategy etc. I wonder how many know that?
Rule #1: be as vague as you possibly can on anything involving government policy of any kind. Note: blaming the previous administration is not an option in this case.
Rule #2: say what the given target audience wants to hear. Flip flopping may be advised or even essential.
For example:
“”Starmer is easily among the most untrustworthy politicians of his generation.
…
Shortly before the 2017 General Election, Starmer, who was then shadow Brexit secretary, said that Labour accepted the result of the 2016 referendum. He promised that Labour would support Brexit ‘as a matter of principle’ in the next parliament. But after the election was over, he instantly reneged on that promise. He set about orchestrating the obstruction of Brexit in parliament and pushed for a second referendum. Having said he accepted the will of the people, he then did everything in his power to thwart it. Starmer’s disastrous second-referendum policy in large part cost Labour the 2019 election, when combined with Corbyn’s by-then-toxic personal brand.
…
Starmer promised that a Labour government would ‘introduce self-declaration for trans people’, meaning men could simply declare themselves to be women and demand access to women’s spaces. In 2022, he famously refused to answer, when asked during a radio interview, if a woman can have a penis.
His answers to The Penis Question have become increasingly absurd, as he has tried to rationalise his views to a bemused public. Last year, Starmer declared that 99.9 per cent of women ‘haven’t got a penis’. Which would mean that one woman in every thousand does have a penis.
…
Nationalisation, Brexit, gender. Those are just some of the more eye-catching examples of Starmer swinging wildly from one position to its apparent polar opposite. But there are no end of other examples.
…
Starmer in 2019, praising the road-blocking, eco-activist group, Extinction Rebellion:
‘As the Extinction Rebellion protest showed us this week, the next generation are not going to forgive us if we don’t take action.’
…
And here’s Starmer in 2022, telling the road-blocking, eco-activist group, Just Stop Oil, to ‘get up’ and ‘go home’.

Labour has been giving Kamala et al instruction. Lets hope it was wasted.
The Kamal has flipped on any issue she thinks she needs to, to win votes…
.. and if she wins the election, she will flop…
… back again.
Kabulla?
Its maddening because she lies, we know she lies, she knows that we know she lies, we know that she knows that we know she lies, so she will lie anyway.
So why lie to us? 1) Disrespect, 2) Because she knows what We The People want and is hell bent on making sure we don’t get it, and she is convinced that the sheeple will believe the lie of the moment because we want to be lied to.
What sort of leader hates those it wants to lead and only wants destruction for those people?
Well, first of all, she’s not a leader, she’s an actress. Playing the role of a DEI hire puppet.
The people who control her are demonic enemies of at least the United States if not humanity in general.
Immigrants Are Taking Over Pennsylvania Now. Everyone Here Is Freaking Out.
one of my favorite YouTube channels, by Nick Johnson, who travels America showing the dark side of so many communities- the dark side you’ll never see on the MSM
So this seems to Biden/Harris policy- shut down PA’s gas industry while pouring illegals into the state. WTF?
Every week or so my wife and I go into town and get supplies, “town day” we call it.
Last week on our shopping run I noticed a very large number of asian’s in every
store we went. Starting at Costco then Wally World they were everywhere. All
middle age and the ones at main desk getting the membership at Costco spoke
with broken english. It had the look of something organized somehow,
Last year it was young hispanic males and hispanic familys. There has been such a
large migration into this area that we now have the most unaffordable housing
in the entire country. We get regular offers in the mail on some farm ground we own that are
eye popping price wise. There’s new house built up in the hills near us
that is extravagant. It had steel pilings being driven for several weeks with 3
large excavators with drivers. The public ownership is listed to a LLC from CA..
There are also camps of homeless in the NF, some big and others small. Not
sure where this is going but there’s no going back.
Nick Johnson, who produced the video I mention above- shows homeless camps all over America- with the worse on the west coast and Hawaii and Alaska. Nick is not a right winger- he seems like a “regular guy”- but he shows how those states are not dealing with the problem- and of course the Biden administration is also not solving the problem. I know a lot of people who are going to vote for Trump just because of this illegal immigrant problem. Check out some of Nick’s other videos. They’re very good.
Homeless in the National Forests? Now that really ticks me off.
The NF has gone totally woke. That video was eye opening to me.
https://www.ktvh.com/news/oro-fino-camp-moving-from-private-land-to-nearby-forest-service-property
There was a wildfire on NF land back in July and a clerk at a business I regularly
visit has a cabin near the fire. She said that the fire started near a large homeless
camp. Bozeman lets them park campers on the streets.
Whomever is in favor of this, is a treacherous un-American evil doer
“Pennsylvania is a major center of U.S. natural production through fracking.”
NY state also has a vast amount of shale with gas in it- but the idiots running that state won’t let that industry exist at all. If they did- they could pipe some of it to Wokeachusetts- but this state won’t let the pipes be built.
Better their citizens go back to fireplaces for heat and candles for light.
Internet? Forget it – after all Kamala was put in charge of ” connecting” unconnected areas and not a single household joined the modern age under her “leadership.”
California has had a significant increase in natural gas prices. This is partly a result of the legislature’s program to restrict natural gas usage. At the same time, electricity costs have increased dramatically. The goal of California politicos appears to be that they want us to freeze (or swelter) in the dark.
Its mostly a problem resulting from the Brown family and the Getty family owning the rights to the means of oil and gas importation and distribution.
Lookup Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom family connections to the ownership of oil and gas and then compare to their votes on the matter. You’ll wake up then as they control the supply and drive prices up.
Of course, that’s what always happens in a one party state.
Looks like Saudi Arabia is on war path increasing production amid falling prices and an overproduction forecast for the next few years. The question if the US fracking industry can survive this.
https://files.dep.state.pa.us/Energy/Office%20of%20Energy%20and%20Technology/OETDPortalFiles/2022_Energy_Report/2022_PAEER_2.2vw.pdf#page=7&zoom=auto,-73,732
(Warning: PDF file, might automatically download itself)
Looks like 100.000 is nationwide, Pennsylvania is around 40.000. PV alone seems to employ around 270.000 people.
And renewables.
Oil is in for a blood path in the next decade – those relying on fracking will be the first to go down.
Do you want to be part of it, or bet on future technologies?
By the use of the term “blood path” are you calling for violence against all the workers in that industry?
Of course, because I want to scare you into voting for me.
The only thing that frightens is your devout and blind faith.
A low bar.
I can’t vote for people who don’t live in America.
You can’t vote for a computer program either.

Betting on an intermittent, less energy dense and more expensive energy generation method is not something I can recommend. The laws of economics are clear that efficiency always wins the nod.
But then again, people gamble at casinos believing they can beat the odds. You must be one of those people.
Wind and solar are “technologies” of the distant past, not of the future. Low density energy cannot power a high density energy economy, especially when only intermittently produced, and often not when needed.
So plenty of fossil fuel petroleum, and a drop in price because of sufficient supply.
Good Bye EVs. !!..
Good bye unreliables !!
Fracking will survive just fine if allowed to by ff haters. It’s ruinables that may not survive if they are kicked off the subsidy train.
Harris would no more be in charge than Joe was. The same people would pull the strings.
That map of Penna.? The area right above Lock Haven is Clinton County. MAJOR fracking area. I was there in Renovo a few weeks ago. Talked to one guy with a Trump shirt on, he said there MAY be ten liberals int he whole town who would vote for Harris. Hell, there was “TRUMP” graffiti painted on walls there.
Thank you for this post. Judging from the yard signs it is easy to spot / predict who would vote for Harris … not about campaign planks, principles and country but free stuff. I think the dye is cast and the country is split just hoping that numbers truly on the edge will tip the scales. How can anyone vote for candidates who do not have real beliefs and positions but would flip to buy votes, how can you trust such person.
From a democrat to a republican, and from a never-trumper to his VP. These two are really made for each other.
Intelligent people when they realize that the MSM is lying 97% of the time and most of the compulsively lying democrats in charge are evil and hate the US, tend to switch to the Trump team. That is the ones that can still think critically of course.
Most of the republicans, including his former staff, have now switched to endorse Harris. And to see through lies like “They are eating the cats” … do you even need a brain for that?
New Poll Shows Just How Much People Hate J.D. Vance
“This Harvard poll did not test favorability ratings for the Taliban, or Vladimir Putin, or herpes. If they had, I’m sure all three would have been less popular than JD Vance,” Last wrote. “But not by much.”

He’s really a great catch. Maybe he’s still a never-trumper actively sabotaging the campaign.
Further research shows they are actually eating the cats or any other animal they could catch no matter what the lying MSM says. Seems when you dump a large amount of people in a small town with no support, people get hungry and eat what they can catch. In the same situation I would do the same. Nobody allows their family to starve on purpose. You reference a Harvard poll where 93% of the people doing the poll are democrats, most probably radical leftists, as being trustworthy? 🤦♂️ 🙄
MyUsername like smears, lies and pretty much anything that is anti-human flourishing.
The latest trolling is pathetic because there isn’t really a hook, its a simple drive-by smear. No reason to dislike JD Vance, just that the easily manipulated and desperate to be included in to something that caters to their level of intelligence and quality of character (little and none) need some sort of low-IQ snark that validates their irrational hate of someone they are told to hate.
Both Trump and Vance were once admired by the same people who now hate them, and while there was reason to initially like Trump and Vance years ago, they have been programmed as NPCs to now hate them or face being out-grouped.
MyUsername isn’t curious enough to ask who benefits from this hate and division, MyUsername just follows orders and hates who the They say needs to be hated in order to grab more power and control.

When politicians flip flop, then you know for certain they were lying to you.
It’s not hard to figure out. They look at polls to decide policy to garner votes. So much for integrity, service and truth from those candidates. Stop electing shysters, it’s easy. Stop voting for parties and vote for a candidate that earns your vote.
That’s the big difference.
We already know that Trump will try to do everything he says he will do.
And we can be absolutely certain that the Kamal will flop-back on all her flips.
They both have very recent records. The world flourished under Trump. The world is in chaos under Harris.
They say they inherited Trump’s disastrous economy while willfully ignoring CoViD-1984 and the Left’s demand to perpetuate comprehensive lock-downs for years if necessary. Trump wanted to reopen after a fortnight, but that Resurrection of the Economy would have happened on Easter and the godless Left couldn’t have that image, so they built prison camps and threw people into jail for leaving the door unlocked to their church, gym or hair salon.
They refused to take the Trump Vaccine until it was the Biden Vaccine and people would have their careers and families destroyed unless they took the mutant Frankendrug, and then many got sick and died from the “cure” and they blamed the whole thing on Trump.
They are pure evil. This isn’t Republican vs Democrat, not even Freedom vs Tyranny since many of the Republicans hate America as much as their Democrat counterparts. This is really a proxy war of the party of globalists, death, war, deviant sex, violence and division vs Leave-Us-Alone-We-Have-A-Life-To-Live demographic that is looking for someone who doesn’t actively work to make their lives that of penury and misery.
Trump isn’t threatening to kill us in a proxy war with Russia/China/Name-Your-MIC-Darling, he isn’t dictating how we eat, sleep, live, work, drive, play, work, worship or coëxist with our neighbors. He isn’t calculating ways to plunder us, corrupt our children or humiliate us with senseless obedience to LGBT or Climate cultists.
I want to look at the weather page and decide from that if I need an umbrella or a jacket, not be provoked into political action or cower in fear over the latest climate hysteria.
Why aren’t we allowed to have Heritage America anymore? It worked pretty well.
Very nice, very informative. Yet another example of government interfering in business. I had a campaigner stop by last week he was looking for support for a gal running for Public Service Commissioner. Her campaign centered on going after our power supplier. She is upset because our power rates are high, rate increases have to be okayed by the PSC. There is probably no business more regulated by government than power companies. There is likely lots to not like about our power company but I lay the blame for our rates on government especially government mandates like buying renewables. The campaigner didn’t have much to say about that.
As I recall, the Asian markets are turning to Russia for gas.
