Live at 1 pm Eastern,10 am Pacific: Trump Looms Over COP 29

The United Nations’ climate confab (COP 29) in Azerbaijan, of all places, will convene less than a week after America’s presidential election. It will be pretty glum gathering if Donald Trump returns to the White House. The jet-setting climate bureaucrats may be putting on a brave face claiming that “global climate action” isn’t dependent on who sits in the White House, but it’s easy to believe that they are already having nightmares.

What would Trump’s election do to the global climate agenda? The Heartland Institute’s H. Sterling Burnett, Anthony Watts, Linnea Lueken and Jim Lakely discuss on Episode #127 of The Climate Realism Show.

This panel discussion will be archived in WUWT Climate TV, a collection of over six hundred videos, featuring new interviews and analysis, and covering dozens of media sources discussing, debating and analyzing the latest in climate science, climate politics, and energy policy, including topics concerning temperature, sea level, polar bears, ocean acidification, extreme weather, censorship, wild fires, and more.

I hope that it’s beyond glum.

What it will be, if Trump wins, is an excuse for Biden/Kamala to out do Obummer and hand the UNFCCC $100,000,000,000 dollars to fund their climate gift schemes

Trump’s attitude towards the Paris Accords is reason enough to support him.

I don’t like his view of Ukraine, but the climate lunacy is a bigger issue.

Agreed. The difference between having and losing a trillion dollars.

Yes, if I were an American I would definitely vote for Trump. Compared to the last four years, Trump’s presidency almost looks like a golden age.
I very strongly support Trump on climate and Nut Zero, anti wokeness, the economy including tax cuts, illegal immigration etc etc

Despite his flaws I rather like him. I like the way he has fought against the appalling government lawfare and the vast media bias against him. He also has great courage.

But there is one *big* problem and that is Ukraine. I could almost weep when I see many prominent Republicans siding with a war criminal and genocidal murderer. I hope that, as president, Trump will moderate his views and continue to support Ukraine. Last year an opinion poll showed that a good majority of Republicans supported Ukraine, I hope that is still true.

Having said that, I can’t wait to see President Trump announcing that he will withdraw the US from the Paris suicide pact.

Trump can’t be bought. That is a sufficient reason to vote for him.

NYTimes: “I wanted to see how she would answer questions at the debate, but I feel like she didn’t really answer any of the questions; she kind of just deflected,” said Tyler Slabaugh, 24, who works in medical sales and lives in Grand Haven, Mich. He didn’t vote in 2020 but plans on supporting Mr. Trump this year. “I didn’t really get a good understanding of, like, what her plan was,” he said of Ms. Harris.

Well, Kamala Harris is a lawyer, so she did what she is good at – if you don’t have a good case obfuscate. I hope there are plenty like Mr Slabaugh.

Sheesh, talk about being a denier, Simon.

Even Kalamata publicly boasted and shared pics & videos about her dalliance with Willie Brown, while his wife just had to suck it up.

(er, maybe that last phrase could have been expressed better, but it kinda fits the Kalamata – Willie arrangement 🙂 )

Poor little simpleton.. your desperation is palpable.. 🙂 🙂

We all heard the Kamal say…. blah, blah, blah…

That’s all she is capable of.

But, she said she does like middle class lawns. And she flipped burgers.
I suppose that makes her more qualified to hold office than, say, a barmaid?

I’m still trying to find a video of General Kelly saying Trump said there were suckers and losers on D-day. So on the the anniversary of the gold star 13 deaths, Trump, Biden, and Harris were invited, and only Trump showed up. Harris was only 10 minutes away, and she couldn’t show up. Who exactly is pro-military? It’s obvious that Biden-Harris are not.

But stupid Republicans need to vote. I can’t believe that gun owners don’t vote. They are destroying their future.

There are good lawyers out there. (I mean “good” as in good.)
Both my Uncles were lawyers.
One died relatively young. The other was on the US team during the Pueblo incident.
He taught law at West Point. After he retired from the Army, he had “a chair” at a law school.
He even wrote a law book.
But then there are the “Ambulance Chasers”.
The “lawyer” Kamala is an ambulance chaser who wants the power to build the ambulance (or what it’s chasing).

Harris is a placement.
A re-placement for sure, but still just a politician placement.

It’s the Democrat machine operators that make the politician placements.

And the last placement they want would be one that observes, assesses, analyses, concludes and speaks their own intentions.

Which is why a “rogue” operator like Trump is anathema to them.

See, he’s not beholden to –
mainstream media
a political party
unions
academia
the bureaucracies
the military
UN / IPCC
WEF
Soros
lobbyists
and so forth . . .

235 years ago the presidency started with George Washington. Now we will be lucky if we can elect “The Donald” instead of a pagan straight out of Pandora’s Box.
