Chris Martz, in His Own Words

By Chris Martz

I am 21-years-old.

And, nobody upsets climate alarmists as much as I do. 𝑵𝒐 𝒐𝒏𝒆.

The climate Nancy Boys are desperate to shut me down. I am a threat to their grift.

  • They see I have reach.
  • They see my posts are having influence on younger generations, especially mine.
  • They see my messaging is effective and theirs is not.

And, I am now Enemy #1 and it’s solely because I’m young, have reach and am a skilled debater.

Their “green” energy scam underpins a Marxist policy agenda, and in order for it to be successful in measure, it requires little pushback and the youth to blindly go along with it by keeping them alarmed about the state of the climate.

But, I am in their way.

It doesn’t take a Ph.D. to see that these individuals are vehemently anti-capitalist in ideology, and by controlling our energy and food supply in the name of “saving the planet,” that they can successfully steal money from taxpayers, launder it through government research programs and enrich themselves, decimating the middle class.

I put science ahead of activism, and I do my best to uphold scientific integrity and call out “experts” who put politics before science because they claim it “hurts the cause” for action to be scientifically and factually correct.

I tear apart their catastrophizing rhetoric with empirical data on a daily basis, and I do it swiftly.

And, I leave the doomers speechless.

They cannot refute my rebuttals point-by-point. They cannot point out where I am wrong. They know I’m [usually] right [I’ll admit when I’m wrong].

And, since their ideas suck moose nutz and can’t win on a level playing field, the only thing they can do is engage in the pissing contest of cancel culture through personal attacks, smear campaigns and trying to get me kicked out of college.

And, these grown ass men haven’t been successful.

And, I just sit here and I think how much of a loser you have to be to be this upset over a college kid.

I have power over them, and it’s glorious to see.

I posted this over at X you can’t say very much in just a few words:

Every carbon atom in your body was once in the atmosphere as CO2.

More rain isn’t a problem.
Warmer weather isn’t a problem.
More arable land isn’t a problem.
Longer growing seasons isn’t a problem.
CO2 greening of the earth isn’t a problem.
There isn’t any Climate Crisis.

Great list.
Better than the article here
You might want to revise

“Warmer weather isn’t a problem.”

The primary symptom of greenhouse warming is warmer winters, specifically winter nights. Warmer afternoons in the tropics could be a problem for some people. The actual warmer winter nights in Siberia after 1975 are good news.

The term greenhouse effect was invented a long time ago and will not be changing. Whining about it does no good.

A real greenhouse keeps indoor plants warm at night

The greenhouse effect keeps Earth’s outdoor plants warm at night

The phrase greenhouse effect is appropriate and does not confuse many people.

Except the There Is No AGW Nutters, who are perpetually confused.

It is the Enhanced AGW Green House Effect (EAGHE) that is in dispute. EAGHE exists only in speculative models that have the non-existent tropospheric Hot Spots. Those models take the minor warming that might be expected from additional CO2 in the atmosphere and speculate on constant relative humidity driving enhanced warming. Measurements of relative and absolute humidity falsify those assumptions.

Just because it was first coined a long time ago does not mean the originator got it right. It was based on effects in a wooden box with a glass lid.

The “greenhouse effect” is used to keep many people confused by not giving them accurate science.

Most of your other claims are true to the narrative but incorrect.

Except the There Is No AGW Nutters, who are perpetually confused.

You can’t even describe this “greenhouse effect”, can you?

just waffling that “A real greenhouse keeps indoor plants warm at night
The greenhouse effect keeps Earth’s outdoor plants warm at night” is not describing the greenhouse effect. Does the GHE only function at night? Does a greenhouse keep plants warm at night when temperatures drop below freezing?

This is obviously news to all those greenhouse operators who spend substantial sums on heaters to keep their plants from freezing at night.

AGW has nought to do with the greenhouse effect. Producing and using energy creates heat. AGW – measurable since the industrial revolutions in various countries. Very obvious when seen in the form of the UHI.

You can’t even name one of these “No AGW nutters”, can you? Or anybody who denies the existence of climate!

All mouth and no trousers. Go away and stick to playing with your Xbox.

What’s bad about burning some hydrocarbons that have been stored in the depths of the Earth for way too long? These alarmists think that we are introducing some new plague to the world, when we are just freeing up some of the plant food that was buried as plant matter many thousands of years ago. It’s been here (on Earth) forever, and always will be, Carbon the ultimate renewable! .

Exactly. The climate alarmist narrative serves as confirmation bias for the Marxists’ hatred and mistrust of the free market despite its history of success. The CAGW theory shows how evil capitalism is and why it has to go.

There are Marxist climate howlers

But the climate howler leaders are mainly leftist fascists. They want to control the private sector and the private sector is barely fighting back.

If there is poor economic growth with leftist fascism, the greedy capitalists can be blamed by the fascist politicians.

In general, fascism is more efficient than socialism / Marxism. Capitalists are more efficient at running companies than government bureaucrats. Unfortunately, they will be productive at producing the products and services the government wants them to produce. Not the products and services people prefer to buy.

In China, to the extent you can beieve their managed GDP numbers

60% of the Chinese economy is communist — it produces 40% of total GDP

40% of the Chinese economy is fascist — it produces 60% of total GDP

Fascism is more efficient than communism — that’s why there is private ownership of 40% of companies in China — their effort to reduce poverty.

The natural form of government seems to be tyranny. Democracies are rare and on;t seem to last long. Our democracy is disappearing here in the US. We have two communists running as Democrats in 2024. The media tries to claim they are moderates.

The Democrats have usurped the federal government
The Democrat Party have made itself “The Government Party”.

It’s similar to those on WUWT who demand evidence whenever someone claims they see CO2 in the weather. It’s kind of “In Your Face!”.

In the case here at WUWT, when evidence is demanded, that’s usually the end of the conversation. I’m not familiar with how the Climate Alarmists react when Chris makes similar demands. Does that stop the conversation, or do the Climate Alarmists actually try to make a case?

An expert in a given field does not possess all-encompassing knowledge. They are constantly learning and are not immune to knowledge gaps. Number one he shouldn’t have to fight with his professors or anyone else at the school. When I attended university it was as a non traditional student, in other words I was in my fourties. It was pathetic the control and power some professors had and expected from their students. They pretty much left me alone but I did have to correct a few of them a time or two. Many students told me they wished they could do the same but did not want to risk a lower GPA. I felt for them. Having said all of that most of my professors were very good and I was proud to be their student.

Story Tip. Morena Koren claims humans have slowed Earth’s rotation and altered its axis. https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2024/08/climate-change-slow-earth/679378/

This line stood out in what the non-paying proles are allowed to see. “Mars’s wobble is influenced by the sloshing of its molten iron core.”

NASA says “Unlike Earth, the obliquity (or tilt) of Mars changes substantially on timescales of hundreds of thousands to millions of years.” https://www.nasa.gov/image-article/changes-tilt-of-mars-axis/

But wait, NASA also says Earth’s axis changes on a 41,000 year cycle. Do note that this article attempts to ‘explain away’ the influence of that on climate. https://science.nasa.gov/science-research/earth-science/milankovitch-orbital-cycles-and-their-role-in-earths-climate/

Is this some New Math thing where 41,000 = hundreds of thousands to millions?

their propaganda specialists know that very well. It’s also much easier to communicate fear than science. Our tenured Professors bring out a sound scientific message, but it’s not always optimally adapted to the young generation with average or lower scientific knowledge.

How about the 20,000 electric motorcycle fires a year in China, how many of those electric vehicles you refer to are two wheeled.

You ever wonder why no Chinese scientists living in China post here? Wonder what the Chinese government would do if they tried.

China? The communist dictatorship? Are we supposed to be impressed?

1… Basically anyone would be smarter than you.

2… pretending you are anything but a mindless troll, yourself.. seriously !

3… Listen to Chris.. bet you can’t counter a single thing he says.

I’ve been following Chris on X for some time, participating in those conversations. Most of take him on are angry males whose only version of “Science” is an appeal to authority — often their own authority. Think of those angry Jihad males as a mixture of testosterone and religious belief, and you basically understand the folks that Chris deals with. Sadly, we rarely get to discuss using “Science” — it’s just bluster, almost always ending w/ the green Jihadi blocking me.

You may use my new phraseology when addressing the brainwashed on X: The Climate Borg

Modify as needed:

Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
Existence as you know it is over.

And, nobody upsets climate alarmists as much as I do. 𝑵𝒐 𝒐𝒏𝒆.

Umm, I thought Anthony et al upsets climate alarmists more than anyone else. Is he slipping?

I have followed this kid for a year or so and he may be exuberant, but he normally counters with charts, graphs, etc to correct others. He deserves a pat on the back not the ill informed comments from some here.

His major is in meteorology I believe so he is no idiot as some have claimed.

I will happily be on his side against warmists.

Waiting for the Climate Borg strikes back.

Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
Existence as you know it is over.

Good to see pragmatics taking the idiocies to task.
Break the mind control of the kids is an excellent step.

I looked at Martz’s posts at X that I could read for free. He is brave, and perhaps foolish, to use his real name while calling climate howlers Marxists. That is not how you influence people.

I did not read any over the top bragging about himself like in this article.

His climate claims were in the ballpark but incomplete. He talked about the Antarctica ice melting VERY slowly but did not include the temperature inversion reason. Or that the claimed annual melting is way below the margin of error for the ice mass estimate. Maybe that’s due to the size limit of the Tweets.

He talked about following Tony Heller and Je Bastardi. That is puzzling to me.

Heller is a great climate realist for historical data. Joe Baloney is the worst conservative climate writer I know of after 27.5 years of climate reading. he is an El Nino Underseas Volcano Nutter who claims all climate change is caused by El Ninos. BeNasty, the extremely confused visiter here, must love the Joe Baloney El Nino articles.

Joe Baloney can write good articles on weather which I have recommended on my blog. But his hurricane predictions are no better than predicting an average number of hurricanes each year (his predictions are worthless).

I recommend Heller’s website even though he seems to have had some dispute with this website and none of his articles are posted here.

Heller has pinned an article about Hidin’ Harris’s father being a communist on his website, which no one else has wanted to talk about. She sounds like a communist too (the new term for communism is equity)

Heller used to be a prolific poster here as Steven Goddard, but was sent packing after a particularly big flap here where he claimed CO2 frost was forming in a cold snap in Antarctica. I was one of the primary folks trying to set him straight, I suspect he still disagrees with us, and me in particular.

Most of the details are at https://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/06/13/results-lab-experiment-regarding-co2-snow-in-antarctica-at-113f-80-5c-not-possible/

Heller is a good source of historical notes, I don’t know if he has a timeline of the various events and links to detail.

See also https://wattsupwiththat.com/2021/06/23/global-warming-scott-base-antarctica-endures-115f-cold-enough-to-freeze-co2/ from 12 years later. Anthony noted in his update to the OP:

Tony Heller, aka “Steve Goddard” still won’t admit to making a mistake on that issue, which is why he no longer posts here.

Still waiting for RG to show any warming in the UAH data other than El Nino events.

Poor little chap can only manage petty attempts at juvenile insults.

Tony Heller and Joe Bastardi actually back up their opinions with evidence and data. Great source

Either has several magnitudes more scientific understanding than RG will ever be capable of.

RG runs away from science and evidence. Pointless non-source.
