Climate Realism by Paul Burgess

The climate alarmists state that there was no Little Ice Age, No Medieval Warm Period or even Roman Warm Period. Not just these 1000 year cycles do not exists but we are now in the hottest time in the last 120,000 years and its all our fault!

That is their incredible stance because ,if any of those periods are true and warmed, then warming like we have experienced since the industrial revolution is normal…. that cannot be allowed to happen. This video explores the just how history has to be changed to fit their narrative.

These videos below are worth watching as they all link together to give the big picture.

The key to Mann’s hockey stick was not the ‘blade’ created in part using ‘Mike’s Nature trick’. It was the straight shaft, which removed the MWP and LIA, both historically well documented. The false alarmist argument that these were only regional is belied by global proxies for both—including Chinese written records and Antarctic Peninsula sediments.
Erasing natural variation led to false anthropogenic attribution, the false essence of the original IPCC charter. The essence of Orwell’s1984. It was meant as a warning, but climate alarmists use it as an instruction manual.

Even if MAnn’s hockey stick was not a gross example of statistical malpractice, …

… it is based on tree rings… who’s growth was stunted by low atmospheric CO2 before we humans SAVED the world’s plant life by kick-starting the carbon cycle..

Remove the tree rings, the MWP re-emerges.

So you can’t counter the facts.

Nothing unusual about that, is there.

This chart actually matches historical accounts and real science from around the world.

MUCH WARMER during the MWP….. Get over it.!

Now, Tell us again HOW MUCH WARMER it must have been for forests grew where now there are glaciers.

You are still totally blank on that one.

Also explain how tree lines were much higher up mountains and much further north (in the NH)

We are waiting for you hilariously junk reply !

It’s all well and good to talk about reality and science, but this problem has left the realm of science entirely and it 100% politics and economics. The only thing that will change it (maybe) is a very long period of flat or declining temperatures, and that may not even be enough. It is a bit like the rise of DEI-ism. Once people have an over-arching narrative to give them license to dictate every detail of how people live their lives, they will never let go of it.

You bozos can argue the merits of the science until the cows come home but it won’t work. Authorities with credibility and their own agenda don’t care. It’s all about MONEY. The more contracts that are signed, the more wind turbines erected, the more solar panels distributed, the deeper the commitment to this fraud will extend, the more “normal” it will be. None of this would be happening without the desired end, re-distribution of wealth. Eventually there will be a steady stream of turbine and panel replacement, enough nukes to keep the brown outs to a minimum and an oligarchy of renewable energy aristocrats, new John D. Rockefellers, J. Paul Gettys and P. T. Barnums.
The real answer is to put handcuffs on the finances of the American Association of Universities and the other enablers of this most massive fraud and repeal the Patent and Trademark Law Amendments Act, which grants them federal funds for research and permits them to use the patents received for further funding in the commercial sector. All tax free.
Large public universities, and some private ones, are massive, tax-free corporations that are in many cases the most important institutions in their states yet they receive minimal news coverage except for their sports teams. Letting them get away with this travesty will prove beyond doubt that most of the commenters on this site are simply morons unqualified to address the issue and incapable of arresting it.

Universities have been baldly violating the tenure agreement for decades. They should be denied any public money, for that reason alone.

“They” are academia, the administration and faculty of the country’s most prestigious universities. They, cumulatively, are the authors of what amounts to fake research, that is then published by the imitation journalists of the BBC, NYT, WaPo, etc. and government figures, mostly unelected bureaucrats. People move back and forth between these entities, reinforcing the narrative. It doesn’t require real leadership, just a willingness to sail with the tide. Sure, there are some notables, Hansen, Oreskes and Mann for instance, Mario Molina, Sherwood Rowlands. Ever notice how when there’s an opening for a university president it’s almost always filled by a former president or at the very least a prominent academic. Intellectual incest is the norm in academia and they’ve spread it to the media and government. Anyone lacking a law degree is an outsider. This didn’t happen overnight and it won’t be repaired any time soon. Rather than defund the police, the money that keeps jillion dollar universities in business needs to be cut off. We don’t need them anymore.

Renewable Energy aristocrats? Remember that this entire industry depends entirely on government subsidies which can’t continue much longer as every country on the earth is bankrupt- the wheels are starting to come off the green energy wagon as the offshore and onshore wind companies implode, and the auto makers are losing billions with lots more of that red ink to come – nonetheless the real goal as you mention above (redistribution) and as a former head of the UNIPCC stated – is the destruction of capitalism and installation of worldwide communism so all the negative facts about green energy are irrelevant to that goal and will be ignored

Funny, over on comments to the “Mike’s other Nature Trick” article, Alan J has very recently posted a chart from MBH98 which shows a rather attenuated temperature range from 1400 – 1910, followed by a rapid rise.
There was also much discussion as to whether global temperature reconstructions show that either the MWP and LIA were globally synchronous phenomena.

November 29, 2023 6:15 pm

The rewriting of climate history is now being accompanied by the rewriting of social and economic history. The material well-being generated by the industrial revolution is being recast as the product of colonialism and slavery, the purpose being to make us uncertain of our place in the world, and to deprive our populations of the will to resist ever-growing regulation of everything by unelected ideologues and their elected puppets.

And the present is also being rewritten; every weather event is not just a weather event, it is “climate change” in action, with the media gleefully piling on with smartphone videos of floods, droughts, windstorms etc. Instantaneous air temperature readings in uncontrolled settings are carefully searched out and presented as “unprecedented”.

Orwell’s vision of the future (it was written in 1948-49) also included permanent war, which was the excuse for permanent shortages of material goods. Well, the permanent war may be on its way, and it will probably creep up on us over time while we’re looking the other way. In the world of 1984, the battles were always somewhere else; and as readers we wonder how real they were. Well, try finding out what is the real situation in Ukraine – most of what we read is “Ukraine is winning, send more weapons” and meanwhile the position of the front line has hardly changed in over a year. Middle East war is getting off to a handy start, and Eastasia is waiting for the right moment to take Taiwan, whereupon Oceania will probably retaliate with nukes because that’s all they will have left. The new cordial relationship between Russia and Iran – the nucleus of Eurasia?

The shortage of material goods will probably start with food, as the anti-meat and anti-farming movements start to take hold. It will continue with energy, as net-zero approaches and our only source of energy will be electricity – intermittent, totally insufficient for demand, delivered by a rickety old grid and always rationed. A cold and hungry future awaits us.

What else did Orwell envision? Constant surveillance? The Thought Police? Newspeak? I really don’t have to spell it out, do I?

One thing he The Junior Anti-Sex League was a fictional construct which wasn’t based on anything in 20th century totalitarian states that I’ve ever read about (I suspect that those healthy fresh-air hikes that the Nazis loved involved a lot of couples sneaking off to a handy thicket for a quick shag; that’s one urge that is very hard to suppress). Ingsoc promoted procreation without enjoyment, and I can find no parallel in today’s world. But we do have plenty of enjoyment without procreation, and also something really novel: the transgender movement. Young people encouraged to undergo radical surgery that will make them infertile. Population control in action?

I find myself re-reading 1984 about once a year now, and it always scares me how prophetic it is. Orwell’s imaginary world was a blend of Soviet communism and National Socialism superimposed on wartime London, so the details don’t match our present world, but the underlying philosophy of Ingsoc is exactly what’s driving our slow march to 21st century dystopia. However, recent elections in Italy, Argentina and the Netherlands suggest that an alternative future may just be possible if we can find the will to take back control.

Exactly right. Ukraine is not losing.
When fighting a superpower on your own turf, not losing IS winning.

  • See Vietnam vs France or the USA.
  • See Afghanistan vs the British Empire, the Soviet Union or the USA.
  • See the Germanic tribes vs the Roman Empire… it’s been true for centuries.

Not losing is winning.

Very nice piece. The central core belief for this denier is that until the parameters of natural
climate variation have been established it is impossible to say what impacts human activity
have made on the climate if any.

Here is a recent study I’ve linked in the past but it supports the natural variation view.

From the above article:===>
“The scientists are also finding that the high country wasn’t the same as we now see it. Old whitebark pine stumps have been dated to 1,100 to 2,100 years ago in places that are now 500 feet above where trees are growing now, Guenther said.

Orwell Put the Party at the top of power the structure from which it controlled everything by rewriting history among other methods. For Orwell, the political party was the ultimate evil and to me it still is. I don’t think Orwell could see a way beyond parties. (As I recollect). The only alternative to parties is no parties. This would create a devolved democracy without a single power point as parties create. Truly, democracy of the people, by the people and for the people.
