Normally, there is regional variations in this map. I’m leaning towards a glitch since the previous month forecast (also updated on the same day) does in fact have isotherms.
On the other hand, this may just be the skill level of this model. h/t to WUWT commenter “littlepeaks.”

If they were honest they’d have left the map blank white and admitted that they have no clue what the temperatures will be next fall.
Never underestimate how deep the corruption of “ the science “ has become. And the brainwashing ( most likely the power and fear created by mass movement herd mentality) of the scientists. Take the EV, wind farm/ solar business crash coming for example .These people are in total denial about that too. Most humans are not fully rational. But “ scientists “ can be very good at rationalizing away contradictory evidence.

That map is an embarrassment to meteorology. It’s no wonder their credibility has dropped off a cliff over the years.
Sad but true. It is so bad that I literally rejoice to see a bad 10-day forecast for a day I’m planning a vacation trip. More often than not, it’s a solid bet that 80% chance of rain 10-days out will be blue sky. Last time that happened I was going to Maine and even the day before was still showing rain, but the actual weather was partly cloudy.
