It’s the same old tired stuff, Koch, anti-science, big fundraisers while claiming skeptics are well funded, etc., but at least there’s a new humorous label from Gore.
=========================
Former Vice President Al Gore made an appearance at a Democratic fundraising dinner Wednesday night at the home of Tom Steyer and referred to the California billionaire as:
“Mr. Tipping Point” in the fight against climate change, according to a source who attended.
Gore “discussed the need to not just win — but to win quickly enough to make a difference,” according to the source.
The roughly 70 guests who attended the two-hour dinner at Steyer’s abode in San Francisco’s Sea Cliff neighborhood ate grass-fed beef from Steyer’s ranch, as well as salmon, while a large California flag hung on the wall. The event raised $400,000 for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
Majority Leader Harry Reid, one of six Senate Democrats to attend, “focused on the importance of creating an offset” to billionaire fossil-fuel backers Charles and David Koch, the source said.
Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) “focused on how exposed the Republicans are for adopting and promoting a basic anti-science position,” the source said.

Feinstein, Pelosi, Gore and Reid- super rich due to their government connections and inside dealings. Each and everyone of them dare to criticize the Koch’s, who work hard, risk their own capital and create real jobs. And support NOVA and other science programs with real money and more.
They are nothing more than nasty parasites, feasting off of and weakening the national body.
@ur momisugly Truthseeker:
Gleick is pathological if that is what he actually tweeted.
Translation
Al Bore’ “We are doomed, if we can’t sell our product today, the public is going to make us eat it”.
If the taxpayer notices it is starting to cool, we must be in a position to say, our product is working as advertised.

@ur momisugly Hunter:
These are not tweets. These are comments from Dr Roy Spenser blog. The link is to the relevant thread. So unless there has been identify theft (something that Peter Gleick knows about), they are genuine comments.
Another gathering of the 1% plotting to screw the 99%.
@ur momisugly Oss Qss — thanks for the fun video at 6:45pm — hadn’t seen that one. lol
Re: “Gleick is pathological” — I think he is mainly just kinda dumb. Clever with the “dull cunning of the snake.” But, dumb. Most criminals are. Their big EGO’s (here’s where the “pathological” comes in) blind them to that fact. They also tend to believe that beautiful women (or handsome men) find them attractive and that they have the respect of intelligent, well-educated, morally decent, people. Pathetic.
CAGW, best scheme so far, robbing the many to enrich the few.
If we fail to clear our civil services of the fools and bandits the collapse of this scheme has revealed, we can only expect ever more ornate enslavements.

It’s ludicrous. San Francisco’s sea cliff neighborhood is the land of 20 million $ homes. It’s where Senator Diane Feinstein lives, poor thing.
—————————————————————–
Off topic, Pat, but I think she might still live in Pacific Heights, or at least she did thirty years ago when I did a renovation on a mansion across the street from her house. If I recall correctly, it was a big, interesting, shingled, Tudor house with a fake thatched roof motif. I won’t give the street name, but it’s right outside the Presidio and one of the only developments in San Francisco that has a circular street. We called it Pacific Heights at the time, but Presidio Heights might be more accurate.
Maybe you have more recent knowledge. Sea Cliff is at the other end of Lake Street, right out on the water. Spectacular.

Apologies in advance, I just thought this was something from somewhere I never expected/.
Keep an eye on the breaking news bar……. Too funny!
One for the ditch, if you will 🙂

Let me get this straight. [hmmm — inadvertent SFO pun]
You invite a buncha rich libs to a greeny-lib billionaire’s posh pad in the tony section of the most liberal city in the country, sprinkle in the headliners of the uber-liberal DC lib-government establishment – – and all you get is a measley $400K???
They’d have gotten more if they’d just checked the couch cushions.
I believe this is a sign – – no, an absolute “tipping point!” – – that the tide has turned and that the true voices of science and reason are winning.

“They also tend to believe that beautiful women… find them attractive…”

Janice, I could have sworn that you found me attractive, but does that make me pathological?
Alan! Awww, of COURSE I do. However, you seem to have overlooked one tiny detail: I may be quite plain. Well, hm. Here on WUWT, I AM usually quite plain, aren’t I? There. So that question is resolved. Because I am plain, you are not pathological!
#(;))
Now, just to be sure that Alan sees this response from his admirer…
Alan! Alan! Alan!… Steve…. Alan!
…. of course, if you ignore me…. AS YOU DID THE LAST TIME I POSTED THIS VIDEO, you can (along with Frankie) call yourself “Unreliable” and throw in “Undependable” tooooooo….
Anthony (or anybody): Please block these two idiots (papiertigre & Steve in SC) before they undermine all the good work being done here. As for you two: crawl back in your holes – there are plenty of creepy places for you to entertain your ugly fantasies. Not here.

On the other hand, Alan Robertson… , BIG EGO’s think ALL women find them attractive… . Nevertheless, because you are not dumb, with only “the dull cunning of the snake,” your assumption is not pathological.
Over twenty minutes, now…. (raise refined eyebrows, cock head to right, narrow lovely eyes…)
Thanks, Mr. Robertson. (sarcasm ON and… OFF)
Glad to know that my attempt at humor made no sense. Sigh.
Well, you are kindly and I like you, but, that remark definitely takes you out of the “attractive” category. And I’m sure you are relieved.
Aaaaaa! Why do I even try!!!!!!!

Actually, I am the dumbest guy I know.
Plain? Yeah, right. Ain’t an ordinary bone in your body.
Eh? Eh?
Dear Alan,
Thanks for your sort-of compliment at 8:24pm. Then, you must associate with only exceptionally intelligent people.
Your extraordinary WUWT pal,
Janice
Pat says @ur momisugly 6.44 pm feb 20th,
Even if voters had to endure a meteor shower in a superstorm during an earthquake, and the Democrats said it was all because of global warming, I still don’t think Americans would vote to let them raise their home electricity bills. Let’s have an election about that.
I sincerely hope so, (You forgot to add a X 8.9 solar flair, a blown up oil rig and 2 tankers colliding in NY harbor.) They hopefully still would not vote for that. Except if you don’t pay your bill? These days you are very likely going to end up in jail. The incredible assault on the constitution is very frightening. Some of the news about rights being thrown out the window are unreal. The story about the young girl and her parents fight, the young girl’s assault in her car by an officer ( recorded on her cell) and others are scary.

I never get invited to these things.
——————————————-
You have to know the wrong people to get invited.
Follow the money – Al wouldn’t be concerned if the skeptic perspective wasn’t impacting on his ability to make money out of “green” or “sustainable” industries.
He’s not insane, because he doesn’t believe this stuff. He’s just doesn’t want his gravy train derailed.
papiertigre and steve in sc;
When you propose death to those with whom you disagree, you must by default expect that those who disagree with you will similarly propose your death. Then the facts are set aside and he with the most guns wins the argument. You want that? Or a civil society?
I too am dismayed that these comments have survived moderation.
@ur momisugly Gold Min(er?) — re: 9:05pm — lol. #(:))
I forgot to say – we know he doesn’t believe this stuff, because you can’t believe in something you don’t understand. What he does understand is that it makes him plenty of greenbacks.
