As if Al Gore doesn’t already have enough money after selling his failed CURRENT TV channel to the dupes at Al Jazeera for a cool half billion dollars, only to have the viewer numbers crash down so low that Nielsen won’t even rate them anymore, we have this shameless pitch from him in my inbox this morning.
Well, at least he managed to squeeze in “Happy Holidays”.
UPDATE: Yesterday we had the ludicrous warmist claim that skeptics are funded by ‘dark money’, “up to 1 billion dollars worth” as pitched by Guardian slime-ette Suzanne Goldenberg (which had to be fixed later) but in this pitch, donations to Al Gore are matched by an ‘anonymous’ donor.
The hypocrisy of these people is breathtaking.
Wow ! A mind blowing target of a contribution of 0.03 cents per American! It shows that people really do care, don’t they.

I am giving thanks this year for the few hundred “chads” that decided to hang in there to the end. Bless them.
The pitch cannot be just about money. I mean, sure, they will swindle some folk but this has to be peanuts compared to the funding they get from every elsewhere. And, besides, more money is not going to make their impact on politics any more effective. They have oodles already and they are still sinking. I reckon this is a soft recruitment campaign.
I am not sure that comparisons to Ron L Hubbard or Jim Jones are the most appropriate in the case above. it reminded me most of Jimmy Swaggart in his later years.

The chad- Divine Intervention
Here are a couple reminders.
1 Gore was in a masters in divinity program. From adherents.com:
” ‘I am a Christian. I am a Protestant. I am a Baptist,’ told Newsweek in an interview in 2002. ”
Unless he has changed religion, we ought to expect him to wish the world “Merry Christmas.”
From us Christians, a generally acceptable wish at this time of year is, “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.”
“Happy Holidays” doe not cut it.
2 Gore is one of two leaders of “Generation Investment Management, Ltd.” They manage green investments for VERY large investors. Check them out. Bottom line: Gore makes tons of money as the broker/manager of these huge investment funds. Many are govt retirement funds.
So, the game is this: get govts to believe in the global warming, get them to commit to paying for various carbon-footprint-reduction schemes, and at the same time, ‘get in on the ground floor” and invest in these schemes.
Everyone involved makes money off the back of you and me, whether the global warming is real or not.
Just remember that with the left results don’t matter just the intent. Al Gore intends to save the World so all is good. Hypocrisy is just for those that expect results.
