Jim Hoggan’s flagship propaganda outlet, releaser of the Gleick stolen files, Desmogblog.com – is D.O.A.
…or maybe they just gave up, according to Alexa, they had their last measurable traffic blip almost 6 months ago (lower number is better):
The Pakistani’s like them though:

I picked the worst script…
I picked the worst director…
I picked the worst cast….
Where did I go right?
Obviously this it the real reason for the riots in Pakistan. State Dept needs to issue an immediate apology.

http://desmogblog.com/ s working for me?..
Not for me. Course they never were my cup, but that’s a personal op.
Namecheap has the following policy for expired domains: The owner of a domain has a non-guaranteed grace period of approximately 27 days after the expiration date to renew the domain at the regular domain rate. If the domain is not renewed, the domain will be deleted from our database and it is transferred to a “redemption period” at the Registry. If the domain is not re-instated in this phase, then the domain is released to the public by the Registry and becomes available approximately after 80-85 days in the status of redemption or is auctioned off by the Registrar and becomes property of the different party. Once in redemption, then there is an additional fee of $200 for reactivation. So it’s total $200 + the renewal cost for the domain.
Namecheap.com is currently holding the expired domain registration.
You know how many reference trackbacks at Bill Connoly’s Wikipedia just went tilt?
“This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. It is however the end of the beginning” – Winston Churchill.
Science has a lot further to go to regain an acceptable level of integrity but this development, plus the “florid-psychosis” quality of Lewandowsky and Gleick, suggest that the healing crisis point has been reached and normality is slowly returning.
It would be good to buy the domain simply to ensure it does not revert to the psychotics.
Hopefully someone will buy the domain name quickly. But, Anthony, what was that bounce in your graph in August? I would have thought there’d be a bigger one since PBS-Gate.
he ‘namecheap’ page I was redirected to still has a 2011 copyright sign. Doesn’t sound like a very on-the-ball outfit.

There again, my ‘profile’ is no longer available. It was good for laugh.

Fiendishly clever. I like it.
Actually, if you want to have some serious fun. Buy the domain and continue it in the same spirit as it was. Then, after a while, start to let some facts creep in, while still maintaining that signature, “deniers are idiots” tone. You can see where I’m going. A true believers blog could be a lot more fun.
Quick, archive the content. desmugblag.com is available.

What they seem to use the most is the following:
“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” ― Adolf Hitler
It’s working for me sadly!
Have never been to the site before so it won’t be cached on my laptop. Tried f5 route and it came up OK.
So it looks like they’re back in business for the two viewers remaining in Pakistan.

And the hosts are still posting. Apparently they had no idea that this was coming.

You mustn’t laugh at these renowned experts in science, technology and communications. They’ve just switched to a new Internet protocol.

Can’t wait for them to get back online and read their excuses/conspiracy theories (“The Koch brothers are behind it … The dog ate my check … We received a renewal confirmation anonymously in the post…”)
Yup, and working for me. I blat Firefox cache weekly. Did they buy the domain back?
Is there any way of telling how much of their trade was coming form Wuwt readers following links here?

Timed out… no response from the server here in Germany.
You mean still, within 80-85 days, the DeSmog could resurrect into a kindof DeZombieBlog ?? Forget about CO2, now that might be something to be alarmed about! (not)
Hmmmmm…It’s this reader Henry fellow that we should be worried about. One of those Lewandowsky skeptics that frequents the other blogs. How do you feel about the moon landing Henry? Real or Fake?
The desmogblog.com registration expired Friday, 21 September 2012, but it remains unavailable to the public in the Namecheap databse for the guaranteed grace period of about 27 days to give the expired registrant the opportunity to redeem the expired domain. The domain still will not become available to the public for an auction of the domain name or registration to a different registrant for about 80 to 85 days.from Friday’s expiration date. That would put the availability date for the public to register the domain somewhere about 10 December 2012 to 15 December 2012.
Presumably the typically lazy and irresponsible political radicals will realize there are undesirable consequences for stiffing a vendor with a delinquent payment and finally deign to pay what is due. Some years ago my swimming pool serviceman described to me how his worst paying customers were the wealthiest lawyers, judges, medical doctors, and academics. They were the same people who screamed and protested loudest about the plight of the poor working man and immigrants trying to earn a living. But when it came to paying the serviceman, they always had an excuse to delay payment or deny payment altogether in a scheme to defraud the worker, making it necessary to raise the rates for all of the customers who paid on time.
That’s interesting. The Website must be mirrored or cached in some fashion for clients outside North America. Namecheap is displaying its own Web page in place of the desmogblog Website when accessed in the U.S.
December 10th to 15th is the approximate date when desmogblog.com would be auctioned or registered to someone other than the last registrant, if the lazy, irresponsible, and delinquent registrant fails to finally pay the bill.
Wierd. In UK it still shows.
