Our rebuttal of Al Gore’s 24 hours of Climate Reality aka the Gore-a-thon is On-The-Air. Josh is leading the charge chortles. We’ll have a new Josh cartoon, along with commentary, graphs and links every hour starting at 5PM PST to match the starting time of the CRP. They appear below this post.
You can watch the live video presentation here, I urge everyone to do so (because after hour 4 it is starting to look like a massive dud, Al needs the help) and to make notes about it during the appropriate hour. Alternate video link here at Ustream.

UPDATE: The Climate Reality project has released two videos hyping the event. It appears they’ll be smearing some of what is in the videos.

So that all you and your own Prophet are trying to do as your “issue” is to loot and control people solely for your own benefit, as proven and even admitted by your own et tu quoque presumption above! And that’s what is truly “hypocritical” back here in the real world, Dave.

My friends in Texas are thanking AG – they desparately need some of that Gore Effect down there.
Just been reading two papers.
The first is where Mann et al claim that sulfur emissions are the reason for the lack of warming and the second – Carslaw et al – which is the source of his certainty.
The warming effect of CO2 is offset by the cooling effect of the sulphur .
Obviously there are 300 papers on the topic and thousands of pieces of observational data to support this claim, right?
No there ain’t. He got the number from his models, right?
Carslaw et al says “the effect of sulfur aerosols has been little studies and is poorly understood.
Where did the 26% come from?
Mann’s models of course.
Why did he get this answer?
Because he told the models to get this answer.
Models are obedient. They do what they are told to do.

My facebook newsfeed has been absolutely quiet today on this stuff; no one is mentioning Al at all.
20. Years ago Gore appeared on the earth and announced he had decided to bring Doomsday forward as there was much money to be made in the meantime by owning shares in useless measures he would be actually also be paid to sprout about and this would be funded by governments (taxpayers) always ready to implant a guilt tax to fund vote catching things.
This would start with all water on earth expanding and consuming the land and if this was not scary enough he would force all polar bears to swim to Canada and threaten the Eskimos etc.
Money poured into the gravy trough and the formerly fring people were swept up but years went by as the prophesies became non events and the People gradually realized the Gore was nothing but a money hungry false prophet and God and the People placed a fitting curse on him
