Steve McIntyre is too modest to ask for any help on this, so I’ll do it for him.
While some of his countrymen have told me they would like to give him the Order of Canada, and that may well happen someday, this is a much simpler request.
There’s an award contest for Canadian bloggers only, called the Canadian Blog Awards 2010, and Climate Audit is one of the contenders for Best Science and Technology Blog 2010
All you have to do is visit either of the two links above and vote. – Anthony
Update – it appears we may have posted this towards the end of the poll window, it now says “closed”. OTOH, the main page says “round 1” so perhaps there will be another opportunity. – Anthony
Thanks for the h/t.
Done.
This is an easy vote. His insight into the political nature, though stellar, is drowned out by his expertise. His is my go-to site for statistical meat and potatoes.
Done. Thanks for the heads up!
DONE !

Done.
Our children will end up owing him a debt a gratitude as he and Ross were 2 of the most significant catalysts which began and continue to turn the tide away from the
the scourge of tyranny emanating from faux environmentalist, i.e. rent seekers, carpet baggers, opportunity thieves/watermelons, is mitigated to the point of irrelevance.
However, still have a long way to go before we can say “mission accomplished”, (if ever – probably a constant battle until the present education system is reformed)
A tip of the hat to Anthony, Steve and their ilk for the yeoman like work they do.
Actually, it appears that CA is too important to ignore as a candidate. I note however, that two of my favs, “Small Dead Animals” (linked to WUWT) and “The Daily Bayonet” are nowhere to be seen. Possibly because they are a little too conservative for the creators of this Blog awards website? On the other hand I can chose from about a dozen candidate websites dealing with, ahem, alternate lifestyle living. The liberal-left thought police are still strong in the true north.
C’en est fait!
Steve McIntyre is as big a hero as any my humble country has ever produced
Done. Plus a vote from my daughter, who has inherited her fathers’ sceptic genes.

Steve McIntyre brought us the Starbucks hypothesis. As a Canadian, I’m all too happy to provide my vote for Climate Audit.
He (McIntyre) certainly has a decent shout. Who can argue that creating doubt over global warming by engaging in a personal vendetta against a few plaleoclimatologists hasn’t given a very important window of opportunity for Canada to exploit it’s enormous reserves of fossil fuel, whilst simultaneously opening up the very real possibility of new northerly agricutlural regions and the exposure of further (currently) ice bound resources.
The only possible fly in the ointment to his anointment is if Prince Charles has any say in the matter.
Done!
FYI, over the past year I have e-mailed the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. “mansbridge one-on-one” on three separate occasions, to suggest that Peter Mansbridge interview Steve. Never had a reply from the CBC…. maybe others can give it a try.
Mansbridge was quick to interview that L.A. domiciled Canadian last month, when he came to Alberta with great fanfare to “inspect” the tar sands operation – yet he can’t reach our Steve who lives just round the corner in Toronto.
Done. The mouse is mightier than the sword?
Voted Aye for Mc Intyre.
I voted too.
In other news, there was this in Forbes:

Done – and well deserved Mr. McIntyre.
Polls say they’re closed now.

You are such a deluded person, are you a Finnish Deep Ecologist?
For pursuing science in the face of unbelievable obstacles and personal attacks he should get the Order of Canada! The blog is a nice start.
I can’t vote now. It says “Results for this poll have been set to private.”
REPLY: No, you voted, but they are keeping the results private so that it doesn’t turn into a horse race – Anthony
I tried to vote and it now says the poll is closed.
Awww,, didn’t get a chance to vote. It says “poll is closed now” when I click vote for best science and technology blog.

Hear, hear.
I don’t care what other people think about SMc. I
have nothing but deep respect for him.
I voted accordingly.
